One of the students who led Columbia University’s anti-Israel encampment in the spring is suing the Ivy League school for suspending him over hateful video in which he declares, “Zionists don’t deserve to live.” Khymani James, 21, of Boston was denied due process and fair treatment when suspended — a violation of university policy, according to his Sept. 27 Manhattan Supreme Court filing. The decision to suspend James from campus in April was made mostly because of media pressure, and he also was unfairly targeted because his is black and pro-Palestine, the court document said.

The superintendent of Staten Island public schools was abruptly removed from her post amid ongoing accusations of lashing out against staff and vowing “No more white principals,” The Post has learned. Marion Wilson, who led District 31 schools for three and a half years, was swept out of her office on Sept. 20, and told to report to the Department of Education’s Tweed headquarters in Manhattan. Wilson “will be transitioning to a central team,” Danika Rux, deputy chancellor for school leadership, said Monday in an internal announcement, without any explanation for the swift and stunning ouster. Sources said she will...

Two faculty members condemned “white ownership” of Shakespeare and the state’s manipulation of black history during an “Appropriation Series” at Arizona State University last week. The scholars are pushing for changes in curriculum and leadership that reflect more “diverse” voices. During the panel, they spoke to eleven ASU students in the audience and other faculty members via Zoom. English Professor Ruben Espinosa argued that Shakespeare’s legacy has been manipulated for purposes of exclusion and viewed through a lens of “white superiority.” He said that for the Jan. 6 “insurrectionists” at the U.S. capitol, Shakespeare represents a symbol of “white exceptionalism”...

The boss of a Minneapolis food pantry, funded by city taxpayers, has banned white people from taking advantage of the resource. Mykela 'Keiko' Jackson used a Minnesota State grant to launch the Food Trap Project Bodega designed to help poor and hungry residents living close to the Sanctuary Covenant Church in the north of the city. The pantry only opened up on July 27 but within months it has been forced to close and relocate away from church grounds after Jackson attempted to block white people from accessing the service, including a local chaplain who complained.

The Irish government has abandoned plans to implement controversial new hate speech laws following widespread backlash from free speech advocates. Justice Minister Helen McEntee confirmed on Saturday that Dublin will drop new hate speech provisions in the proposed Criminal Justice Bill, admitting that the “incitement to hatred” section of the legislation did “not have a consensus,” the Irish Times reports. Critics of the speech restrictions have noted that the government failed to actually define what constitutes “hate” and therefore the law would have given broad powers to the state to crush dissent. The scope of the draconian powers would have...

The classic example of chutzpah is that of the child who murders his parents and then pleads for mercy as an orphan. With the 2024 presidential election, we have a new way to illustrate the point: the candidate who condones violence, dehumanizes his opponents and whips his supporters into a frenzy, then turns around to condemn the harsh rhetoric of his opponents and call for peaceful discourse. Following the second attempt on his life in as many months, Trump blamed Democrats for casting him as an existential threat to American democracy. “Look,” his running mate JD Vance said on Monday,...

The radical Cornell University prof who lauded the Hamas terror attack on Israel as “exhilarating” and “energizing” dodged any punishment and is now back teaching at the upstate Ivy League school. Shamed history Professor Russell Rickford was out for the past year on “voluntary leave” after widespread public outcry when he was recorded at an off-campus anti-Israel rally cheering Hamas’ Oct. 7, 2023, invasion that slaughtered 1,200 Israelis. ““It was exhilarating, it was energizing ….I was exhilarated,” Rickford said at the time — before apologizing for applauding the mass murder of innocent civilians. ... Rickford is now teaching at least...

A poll released by the University of Chicago via the Chicago Project on Security and Threats offers a chilling account of the growing radicalism in America, particularly after the second foiled assassination attempt of former president Donald Trump, the poll found that 26 million Americans believe “the use of force” is justified to keep Trump from regaining the presidency. As discussed in my book, “The Indispensable Right: Free Speech in an Age of Rage,” we have seen an increasing level of rage rhetoric in our political system. For some, violent language can become violent action. There is a normalization that...

Actually, only some of the receipts since there are so many. The Trump campaign has said the unsayable out loud: Democrats and the mainstream media have been working overtime to demonize Trump, and the inevitable result is that the more unhinged among them are being inspired to violence. I've already written a couple of posts about the Democrats' incitement to violence, including instances above and beyond those cited by Trump. Conversely, Trump has listed a bunch that I haven't mentioned. So let me reproduce his press release here: Yesterday, President Donald J. Trump was the target of a second assassination...

We've been spending a good bit of time covering the incredibly violent and dangerous rhetoric the Left has been spreading for years now since there has now been a second attempt on Trump's life. You'd have thought the first attempt on his life when he was actually shot in the head might influence them to maybe tone down the dangerous rhetoric but ... no. Suppose if all you really care about is staying in power and not violence in your country it doesn't matter who is getting hurt, especially if it's not your candidate in danger, right? This clip though...

MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace said Monday on “Deadline” that the connection between political violence and the “rhetoric” of former president Donald Trump is “undeniable.” Wallace said, “We were talking about a community in Ohio, where the children, two elementary schools and middle schools were closed because of bomb threats, where a bunch of older students, college-aged students were learning virtually because the folks that ran those institutions didn’t feel like they could secure them after this racist smear about Haitian Americans eating cats and dogs. Unrepentant and unapologetic is the best way to describe Donald Trump and his running mate...

On Monday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “ReidOut,” claimed that both of the would-be assassins of 2024 Republican presidential candidate former President Donald Trump “are white, American, Trump-supporting men with guns.” During her show’s opening monologue, Reid said, “What better way to replace the embarrassing memes about JD’s cat lady fixation and his weird possible amorous relationship with couches than to get Americans to instead post memes about Haitians eating the dogs and cats?” She further said that Trump and his running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-OH), have tried to use claims about migrants eating pets in Springfield, Ohio to distract from...

The Democratic vice presidential candidate failed to mention Hamas or the six murdered hostages in his response to a local radio stationMinnesota Gov. Tim Walz, Vice President Kamala Harris’ running mate, told a Michigan NPR affiliate on Thursday that anti-Israel protesters in Michigan “are speaking out for all the right reasons.” “I think those folks who are speaking out loudly in Michigan are speaking out for all the right reasons. It’s a humanitarian crisis. It can’t stand the way it is, and we need to find a way that people can live together in this,” Walz said in an interview...

Meta, the parent company of Facebook, has determined that the antisemitic phrase “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” does not violate its hate speech policies. The slogan has seen a resurgence in popularity amid widespread protests across the country against Israel’s military campaign against terrorist group Hamas.Meta’s Oversight Board has found that the phrase “From the River to the Sea,” used to express Palestinian support, did not break the company’s hate speech policies.Critics of the phrase, which refers to the land between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea, say that it calls for the abolishment...

The independent Oversight Board for Instagram and Facebook ruled Wednesday that the phrase “from the river to the sea” is not necessarily hate speech when addressing the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The ruling means that people on Meta-owned social media apps can continue to use the phrase in comments and posts, as long as there’s no overriding context that would otherwise be deemed problematic by Meta, such as violent language, legitimization of hate or calls for excluding others from territory, the board said.

Kamala Harris' veep should learn something about the First Amendment. Now that Minnesota Democratic Gov. Tim Walz has become Vice President Kamala Harris' running mate, it is ostensibly time for the media to scrutinize his record and past statements. (Emphasis on ostensibly.) To say the mainstream coverage of Walz has been fawning thus far would be quite an understatement; The New York Times described him as "a one-man rejoinder to the idea that the Democrats are the party of the cultural and coastal elite." The Atlantic's Charlie Warzel merrily aided media efforts to portray Walz as a lovable, folksy paternal figure,...

MSNBC contributor Claire McCaskill said Monday on “Deadline” that the Republican National Convention was a “testosterone-laden grievance machine,” while praising the first night of the Democratic National Convention. McCaskill said, “Look at the split screen, between the Republican convention and this one so far. The Republican convection was a testosterone laden grievance machine. Trump coming out to the song “Men Rule the World” and Hulk Hogan ripping off his shirt and you know it was just ridiculous. It is like women don’t have the right to vote.”

Former Bachelorette star Josh Seiter has called for the franchise to cast a transgender lead on its next season. Seiter, 37, who came out as a transgender woman in May, told DailyMail.com it was important for the dating franchise to reflect the diversity of modern America. 'America is changing. It's not just a bunch of middle-aged cis white people anymore, and the LGBTQIA community makes up a large portion of our country now. Yet we've seen zero representation for trans women and men on the franchise,' Seiter explained. The Chicago native said she was pleased to see the franchise become...

“White people don’t use spices” is the Harris Campaign’s message with just 82 days until Election Day. Kamala Harris and her running mate stolen valor Tim Walz won’t speak to the press but they will post a racist, cringey ‘chat’ to YouTube. Harris and Walz sat down for a conversation about their campaign. They discussed “white guy tacos,” “hot peppers” and their childhoods. Kamala Harris has not given a press conference or answered any questions since she forced Joe Biden off the ballot 25 days ago. Tim Walz is also dodging the press like he dodged his deployment to Iraq....
