The ongoing controversy over Twitter’s censorship of The Daily Wire for alleged “misgendering” escalated on Thursday evening with the social media giant’s Head of Trust and Safety, Ella Irwin, resigning in the wake. That’s most likely because she and her department are the ones who made the decision to label tweets by Matt Walsh as violating Twitter’s “hateful conduct” policies. The result was a warning label being placed on the posts along with sharing disabled. Those moves came after Jeremy Boreing, CEO of The Daily Wire, revealed Thursday morning that Twitter backed out of a deal to show What Is...

Whoopi Goldberg told her co-hosts Tuesday on ABC’s “The View” that women were “watching” Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) because of his anti-woke agenda. On Fox News, DeSantis said, “Because everyone knows if I’m the nominee, I will beat Biden, serve two terms, and I will be able to destroy leftism in this country and leave woke ideology on the dustbin of history.” Co-host Joy Behar said, “Yale University will take anybody these days? He went to Yale. He will destroy leftism. Really? That’s a lot of people in the country. And he will get rid of wokism? You know what,...

Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom accused Target of participating in a "systematic attack" on LGBTQ communities across the country after the retail chain rolled back the sale of some "Pride" products this week. In a Wednesday tweet, Newsom declared that Target CEO Brian Cornell was "selling out the LGBTQ+ community to extremists." Target confirmed on Tuesday that it had moved its "Pride Collection" stations further back into the store at some locations, in addition to removing some products designed by a Satanist fashion group. "This isn't just a couple stores in the South," Newsom declared. "There is a systematic attack...

Leading outdoor apparel brand The North Face has partnered with a “drag queen” in advance of LGBTQIA2s+ Pride Month, even selling children’s clothing daubed in gay rainbow colors, as part of its “Out in Nature” collection. “Hi, it’s me, Pattie Gonia, a real-life homosexual,” a mustachioed man says in their new ad, as he announces the Summer of Pride tour for The North Face, a subsidiary of the VF Corporation which also owns brands such as Supreme, Vans, and Timberland. Mr. Gonia opens the ad – in part directed at children – by offering “an invitation to come out…” with...

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is debuting to worse reviews than Indiana Jones and the Kindom of the Crystal This Movie Supersucks. How is it physically and scientifically possible to make a movie worse than Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal This Movie Supersucks? Ooh, I know. Ooh, ooh, I know! You hire Kathleen Kennedy to produce it. Things looked pretty good for Indy 5 when director James Mangold was brought on to bid Indiana Jones a fond farewell. Mangold’s farewell to Wolverine with Logan (2017) is a thing of beauty, my favorite X-Men movie. And...

Miller Lite, much like Bud Light, is showing that they have absolutely no clue who their audience is either. This latest woke ad from Miller is so exceptionally cringy it's tough to watch: [Slightly sexual content and language] AD VIDEO AT LINK................ YAY! Girl power! That's how you sell beer! The ad, which released two months ago but is only now resurfacing after Bud Light's Dylan Mulvaney debacle, is all about female empowerment and the idea that brewing started with women. But, ironically, they use a vulgar woman who acts like a vulgar man as the selling point. In the...

New York City teachers, cops and firefighters lost nearly $30 million in pension funds tied to the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank. Critics accuse Comptroller Brad Lander, who is custodian of the pension systems, of favoring the “woke” bank over shareholders. Five city pension funds had a total of $41,867,214 invested in the doomed bank as of Jan. 31, according to data provided by the comptroller’s office under a Freedom of Information request by The Post.

The Human Rights Campaign is calling on Anheuser-Busch, the maker of Bud Light, to publicly reaffirm its support for the transgender community following weeks of right-wing pushback over the brewing company’s recent partnership with transgender social media influencer Dylan Mulvaney. In a letter sent this week to Anheuser-Busch’s head of human resources, Jay Brown, a senior vice president at the Human Rights Campaign Foundation, slammed the company’s response to the controversy as insufficient and cowardly. “In this moment, it is absolutely critical for Anheuser-Busch to stand in solidarity with Dylan and the trans community,” reads the April 26 letter obtained...

Bed Bath & Beyond didn't pay severance to thousands of workers. The company laid off more than 1,000 workers in New Jersey days before a new severance law took effect. In early February, Diane Zaccagna learned that the Bed Bath & Beyond store in New Jersey where she had been working for 18 and a half years was closing and she would be laid off. "We knew Bed Bath was in trouble, but we thought we would have at least a couple more years," said Zaccagna, 50, who started out as a part-time employee and climbed her way to a...

Disney shares are up Thursday on news that the company is cutting costs and letting go of 7,000 employees. But the real news is that the formerly family-friend studio lost 2.4 million streaming subscribers — and has no plan to end the woke programming that drove them away. Including me.My friend and colleague Lincoln Brown has all the details for you about the layoffs, involving about 3% of the company’s workers.Do you know who isn’t getting the boot? Disney+ producer Latoya Raveneau, who admits to pushing a “gay agenda” by “adding queerness” to children’s programming wherever she can.Or Jim Morris,...

A Nashville flower business announced that it refused to service a Republican National Committee event, claiming that there is blood on the RNC's money and urging other companies to decline to do business with the GOP until it starts changing gun laws. In a statement posted on social media, FLWR Shop described the event as an "RNC fundraising event" that would feature former President Donald Trump and other prominent Republicans. "We would like to challenge others in the Nashville event industry to say no to taking money or jobs from the Republican party until they begin to make the changes...

Americans are drinking less beer after Bud Light, among others, raised their prices. In AB InBev's (BUD) latest quarterly results, the total volume of beer sold decreased by 0.9%. At the same time, total revenue grew 10.2% to $14.67 billion, with price increases a key driver of that. After price increases and "really complicated" weather in the month of December, CEO Michel Doukeris called the Q4 results in the U.S. a "one-off, complicated quarter" in a call with investors. Last quarter, the average price of a 24-pack of 12 oz. beer went up nearly 8%, per NielsenIQ data that was...

McDonald’s Corp.’s restructuring this week is reaching company wide, resulting in hundreds of layoffs and for some employees reductions in their packages, according to people familiar with the matter. Job cuts and changes at the burger chain have affected employees in the U.S. and abroad, at McDonald’s Chicago headquarters and in its field offices, and across departments including marketing and operations, the people said. The corporate restructuring has unfolded in a multipart process this week, some of the people said and internal company communications showed. McDonald’s temporarily closed its U.S. offices and started informing some corporate employees about layoffs on...

First, it was Hershey's, then it was Bud Light, and now, Jack Daniel's is the latest brand this year to be facing a boycott over claims the company has "gone woke." Social media users have taken offense to the whiskey brewer's "small town, big pride" campaign in which it teamed up with drag queens from Ru Paul's Drag Race—despite the campaign being nearly two years old. The row over LGBTQ+ brand ambassadors is symbolic of a wider debate about drag shows and their exposure to children. Critics have expressed concerns over Drag Queen Story Hour, readings for children by drag...

Dylan Mulvaney has cosplayed as a ditzy teen girl on TikTok for a full 365 days and threw herself a gala celebration at the Rainbow Room in New York City. We’re still hoping it’s fake, but Vice President Kamala Harris sent Mulvaney a letter of congratulations on the milestone. And as everyone now knows, Bud Light gifted Mulvaney with a can of beer featuring her face, commemorating 365 days of girlhood. We figured this would blow up in Bud Light’s face, and it has. Anheuser-Busch released a statement that doesn’t make things much better — it says the can was...

I like Drew Barrymore and have enjoyed her movies a lot from time to time. I don’t know a ton about her, but I do know she had a rough time growing up and being part of a storied Hollywood family, she had drug and alcohol addiction problems, was exploited, even attempted suicide, and just in general had a hard time finding her way in life. Fortunately, she overcame all that and became a successful actress, producer, and talk show host. She’s also the mother of two young daughters. Unfortunately, however, Drew did a bad thing on her talk...

On January 12, 2021, the bank told The New York Post that it had begun the process of closing Trump’s two personal accounts and “will not do business in the future with any members of Congress who voted to disregard the Electoral College.” Regulators shut down New York City based Signature Bank on Sunday, a financial institution which had previously cut ties with President Donald Trump following the riot at the US Capitol on January 6, 2021. Signature Bank is the second financial institution shuttered by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) this week after Friday's collapse of Silicon Valley...

Video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ww5Lf97hXQMMNot so long ago, a left-wing pressure campaign forced Harry’s Razors to cut ties with a couple of right-wing podcasts. Little did they know, that decision would create a thriving competitor in the men’s shaving niche. In a real-world example of punching back twice as hard, Jeremy Boering, the ‘lower-case g lower-case k’ ‘god-king’ of the Daily Wire started a rival company as an elaborate middle finger at Harry’s for pulling ad revenue. (Pay attention business-minded Conservatives sick of the left’s bully tactics, there’s a potentially thriving business model in here for you.) His rival razor company turned...
