HelloFresh decided to get a little bold with its latest marketing for Pride Month, and it’s fair to say the reaction has been a mixed bag.
On Friday, the meal kit company posted a statement on Instagram that read: We know eating isn’t always a top priority this month. We respect that. But for those of you who are... prepping... we have an extensive lineup of high-fiber recipes available. Happy Pride."
On Instagram, many fans were all for the brand’s creative approach. The comment section was filled with praise, with one person writing, “This is what happens when a brand trusts its marketing team. Excellent work.”
Another said: “I wHOLE heartedly thank you for your support & service.”
One comment simply read, “Unhinged” followed by a string of laughing emojis.
One fan even saw an opportunity and asked, “How about a Pride month discount code??”, suggesting the code be “BOTTOMSUP.” HelloFresh quickly jumped on the idea, replying, “Use code BOTTOMSUP for a Pride Month discount.” However, they didn’t specify exactly how much customers would save...

If you use this company, you might want to reconsider
I’ll pass. Thanks for the head’s up.
WHY companies cater to a small, albeit OUTSPOKEN...as in STFU already...group of consumers is beyond me. Do they actually LOOK at their stats to SEE how many freaks are using their services? If so, how did they collect the data? How is that even possible?
My ‘pronouns’ are, and will always be, ‘shut’ and ‘up.’

Amazingly stupid people.
Hello Fresh is a publicly traded company.
It will be interesting to see what their stock does with this.
We’ll see tomorrow.
Good time for activist investors to hold management responsible for crapping on 95% of their potential market.
Ugh!! Why not offer code: FOODFORSODOMITES
Pride goes before the fall.
I had to think about this for a minute
If they are saying what I think are saying, it’s absolutely disgusting. Filthy animals.
I’ve always objected to this use of the term “pride” in this context. Pride is a sin in my culture. I don’t think that homosexual people should be oppressed or subjected to violence. All people should be respected and treated fairly. But, what are we pretending to be proud of? How about “Humility Month”? Or A “Kindness Month”? Something that all of humanity could celebrate together.
Pride is a destructive spiritual trap that shouldn’t be promoted. (see the Book of Proverbs)
Yes, they are saying what you think they are saying. Yes, it is disgusting.
When homosexual movement was pushing to legalize same sex marriage they very intentionally avoided talking about the specific details of homosexual intercourse. I think Hellofresh, who depends on people being hungry, is going to find out why.
It’s always difficult to boycott a company one has never used before.

I thought getting smeared with feces was part of the homo lifestyle?
Hello Flesh
For a food company there are any number of things like "National Mustard Day" or "National Baked Bean Month".
This month the shop is decorated for Flag Day until the 15th when we will switch over to "Johannisnacht" decorations because we are a book shop and we celebrate the man who invented the printing press and gave us all cushy jobs.
There’s a bookstore in our little town on the San Fran Peninsula with a huge hand-drawn fag poster showing two teen boys making goo-goo eyes at each other. Just sickening.
The town over from us has a maintenance yard next to the Little League ball fields. They are flying the US Flag at top, then the queer flag under it. More sickening.
I just don’t get the whole idea of being “proud” of shoving Mr. Wangdoodle up another guy’s poop hole.
