“The bear is more predictable.”“You don’t understand the point of the question.”“You are uncompassionate.”“You have internalized misogyny.”“You’ve never experienced trauma, and it shows.”“Remove the bear from the equation and what’s left?” Signed, the people who picked the bear.I am a 50 year old woman. I keep thinking of how when I was growing up, it was mostly acknowledged (except for a few angry feminists that roamed college campuses) that we had won the feminist revolution. We were all happy and no longer felt the need to fight men anymore. Women were just as personally responsible for their failures or their...

Companies are struggling to operate as Gen Z enters the workforce at higher rates, and a growing majority of employers say the younger generation is toxic for their business. That's the latest from a new Freedom Economy Index report conducted by PublicSquare and RedBalloon this month. In the survey, 68 percent of small business owners said Gen Zers were the "least reliable" of all their employees. And 71 percent said these younger workers were the most likely to have a workplace mental health issue. One of the surveyed employers spoke of Gen Z's "absolute delusion, complete lack of common sense,...

Representative Justin Humphrey has filed an Oklahoma bill that would ban “furries” from attending school and would require either a guardian or “animal control” to pick them up if they violate the rule. On Thursday, Humphrey (R-Okla.) filed House Bill 3084 targeting “furries” which are described as “member[s] of a subculture devoted to art, writing, or costumes depicting anthropomorphic animals,” by dictionary.com. “Students who purport to be an imaginary animal or animal species, or who engage in anthropomorphic behavior commonly referred to as furries at school shall not be allowed to participate in school curriculum or activities,” the bill states....

More Generation Z candidates are lining up to run for office this year amid frustration over the country’s aging political class. Rep. Maxwell Frost (D-Fla.) became Congress’s first member belonging to Gen Z — the age bracket considered to begin with people born in 1997 or later — after 2022’s midterms. Now, at least two fellow Gen Z Democrats are vying to join Frost this year as they look to broaden their generation’s presence in the House, where the median age of voting members is around 58 years.

1. Spam Calls Spam calls may see a decline as baby boomers dwindle. People have become more tech-savvy and have access to advanced call-blocking and filtering technologies. Additionally, regulatory efforts and increased awareness are aimed at reducing spam calls, making it less likely for future generations to experience the same level of nuisance and intrusion.

The text of an inflammatory “letter to America” from 9/11 mastermind Osama bin Laden has gone viral on TikTok and drawn praise from young users – and US lawmakers from both sides of the aisle are blasting the China-owned app for promoting “terrorist propaganda.” In the letter, bin Laden claimed that he orchestrated the deadly attacks on the World Trade Center that killed nearly 3,000 Americans because the US “attacked us in Palestine.” The terrorist also described the creation of Israel as a “crime which must be erased.” The Guardian, which had published the full text of the letter in...

Tucker Carlson, the far-right former Fox news host known for his incendiary takes, might have actually made himself the darling of liberal Gen Zers. During a recent appearance on comedian Theo Von’s “This Past Weekend” podcast, Carlson, 54, took an unexpected angle: Supporting young workers who are exasperated by thankless work. “I just so hate that culture that treats people like they're not people,” Carlson said. “And for what?" -snip- Carlson went on to reference a video posted by a recent college graduate that went viral on TikTok. The poster, struggling with time management and work-life balance, told viewers she...

If you were to believe Democrat Party puppet Harry Sisson, a young influencer who looks and acts like a Democrat AI-generated character, Gen Z is a generation of leftists. In fact, the running knowledge is that Gen Z is a giant voting well for the Democrats and one that they used to influence the midterm elections, helping prevent the prophesied “red wave” that was going to sweep the House and Senate. To be sure, a lot of that is true. However, something is happening in the younger parts of Gen Z that looks bizarre considering how that generation voted in the midterms....

[Image] Hank Kunneman (left), Vivek Ramaswamy (right), image via Amazon and Al Diaz / Tribune News Service / Getty 48 On Sunday (July 23), an American pastor and televangelist named Hank Kunneman went on an anti-Hindu tirade against Indian-American entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy for running as a Republican candidate for the upcoming 2024 US Presidential elections. At about 51 minutes and 30 seconds into his programme, Kunneman claimed, “We are in danger as a country and listen to me Generation Z and millennials. Those of you, who are watching, may like this new young guy (referring to Vivek Ramaswamy). “If he...

The share of the American population identifying as LGBT has doubled over the past decade as Generation Z is more likely than older Americans to identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender or something "other" than heterosexual in new Gallup data. A new survey released last Wednesday examines Americans' self-identification with the LGBT community based on responses from more than 10,700 adults in the United States collected in 2022. The overall margin of sampling error is ±1 percentage points. The sampling error among the 584 LGBT adult respondents is ±5 percentage points at the 95% confidence level. The share of Americans who...

A New York professor says that Generation Z is too brittle and jeopardizes America’s future, especially if a war happens because they will be useless in combat. Backing up that statement is, “Pentagon and Army Major Jon-Marc Thibodeau believe that Generation Z’s skeletons are weaker for various reasons. The dubbed “Nintendo Generation” has listed that a sedentary lifestyle has affected the skeletons of the current-day soldiers, making them easier to break when transitioning from a civilian lifestyle into the military.” Gen Z has been raised to be addicted to pointless social media posts and to be whiny victims who have...

It’s clear that Generation Z has earned a seat at the table. We’ve led the social movements that have shaped our current politic climate and helped elect President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris into office. Our growing political power is driven by our unique perspective on the future as we ask ourselves: What does the future hold? Too often, as young people we are underestimated due to our age, but in reality many of us have years of experience and our youth and age is not a detriment, but an asset providing our perspective as members of the...

It may not have been reviewed, commissioned or otherwise endorsed by any of our network partners. Though many Generation Zers — those born between 1997 and 2012 — are children or young teens, some older members are attending college, starting careers and buying homes for the first time. But where are Gen Zers looking to buy? To answer, LendingTree analyzed mortgage offers given to adult Gen Z users of the LendingTree platform across the nation’s 50 largest metros from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31,...

Companies who are demanding workers back at the office every day may actually see their workers join the Great Resignation instead. It may especially be a challenge to get Gen Z workers to work in person all the time. That's based on survey findings from ADP Research Institute. The new report, "People at Work 2022: A Global Workforce View", included results from a November 2021 survey of over 32,000 workers in 17 countries. The countries surveyed include the US, India, and the Netherlands.

The future of Sino-American relations hangs on Generation Z -- those born between the late 1990s and the early 2010s. Not only will this generation be spearheading policymaking in Beijing and Washington in three to four decades' time, more importantly, the attitudes, behaviors and decisions undertaken by this generation make them vital stakeholders in an increasingly acrimonious relationship dominated by talk of diplomatic boycotts and economic decoupling. There are two trends worth noting about Gen Z on both sides of the Pacific. First, American zoomers are comparatively more positive about China than their Chinese peers feel about the U.S. Yan...

The way to solve America's issues and connect with Republican voters is not to parrot libertarian talking points that enable leftist power.I am always wary of those who purport to speak for their respective generation, and a recent New York Post op-ed by a self-espoused libertarian student at New York University put on full display exactly what the Republican Party must abandon in the years ahead. In close to 700 words, writer Rikki Schlott calls for the GOP to “compromise on social and environmental issues and stand up to leftist extremism,” ignoring that these two are different sides of the...

Bloomberg is out with a Monday report chronicling the sad state of affairs the US military has found itself in - notably trying to lure eligible recruits from Generation Z with a cartoon series dubbed "The Calling," which will run on YouTube during May and June.As Bloomberg notes, "The Army—the U.S. military’s largest service—faces a complex set of problems: the eligible recruiting pool into all military services is small; and the newest generation of prospects, Gen Z, has had almost no contact or knowledge of the military, which has largely fought wars abroad since 2001. The Gen Z cohort grew...

Our dominant media's celebration of transgender people must inevitably include the distorted sounds of our tastemakers becoming transfixed by trans fiction. Exhibit A is a new novel titled "Detransition, Baby" by trans woman Torrey Peters. It's published by One World, an imprint of Random House. "The mission of ONE WORLD," its website says, "is to provide a home for authors ... who seek to challenge the status quo, subvert dominant narratives, and give us new language to understand our past, present, and future." Subverting the "dominant narrative" of the gender binary draws many earnest, if unsurprising, endorsements -- from Vox,...

One in six Gen Z adults identify as LGBT — the highest percentage of any generation in history — and that number is likely to continue to increase, according to survey data released by Gallup. Gallup’s latest survey data, based on more than 15,000 interviews conducted throughout 2020 with Americans age 18 and older, found that 5.6% of U.S. adults identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender, up from 4.5% in Gallup’s findings based on 2017 data. One in six adults in Generation Z, people born between 1997 and 2002, identify as LGBT compared to 9.1% of millennials, 3.8% of...

It’s a tough time for Generation Z. Mental health problems, specifically mood disorders such as depression and anxiety, are skyrocketing. Gen Z is the least likely to report good or excellent mental health and the most likely to report poor or fair mental health. Suicide rates for US teens and young adults are the highest ever. As a 24-year-old Gen-Zer who has dealt with these issues personally and has seen the impact on fellow friends and loved ones, it breaks my heart. On the path of bettering my mental health and trying to help others, my journey has led me...
