Beloved Freeper known as Mama Dearest has passed away. I (ExSoldier) was notified via private email by her son yesterday. Sharon was a deeply devout Christian and she resided in upper Idaho with her husband, Bob. I first met her here in FR many years ago and we sort of clicked as kindred souls. We kept in touch via snail mail, email and even phone calls with yet another freeper Appalachain Dweller. He actually came to my home years ago from his then home in Virginia and stayed over a week. Mrs. smoothsailing contacted me today to relate that longtime FReeper smoothsailing passed away yesterday, 9-13-16 of pancreatic cancer. Smoothsailing will be missed here at FR, he was a staunch conservative, a true patriot and a gentleman. He was active in the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Pennsylvania.
