Britt Hume just quizzed the Fox pollster, who looks to be about 25, on the strange results of weekend polls. The pollster said there's really no difference between Fox having Kerry +2 and Battleground with Bush +3. Same number. That's social science, he says. About the only bad thing about this poll is the figures for Florida which has Kaerry ahead +5, more than the direct opposite to the Quinnipiac poll that came out this morning with President Bush ahead by 8 points! Overall, that leaves Prsident Bush nicely ahead overall at Reaclearpoliics at Florida, Ohio, Wisconson, Iowa, New Mexico and Nevada. http://realclearpolitics.com/ A very comfortable position to be in going into tomorrow's elections. NEW YORK — Final pre-election polling shows Sen. John Kerry (search) with a razor-thin edge over President George W. Bush (search) with just one day to go before Election Day. According to a national FOX News poll released Monday, 48 percent of likely voters back Kerry, 46 percent Bush, 1 percent independent candidate Ralph Nader (search) and 5 percent are undecided. Among registered voters Kerry leads 47 percent to 45 percent, with Nader receiving 1 percent. Results among both likely voters and registered voters are within the poll's plus or minus three-percentage point margin of error.

The latest Foxnews poll released today Oct/30 show President Bush 47% and Kerry 45% among likely voters. Yesterday they released their poll that shows President Bush 50% and Kerry 45% among likely voters. The internal of today poll showed that 1200 LV were polled and identified as 367 Republicans, 400 Democrats, and 433 Independents. This means 30.6% R, 33.3% D, and 36.1% I. The oversampling of Democrats and particularly the Independents is very bogus and make this poll worthless. I don't understand the FOX poll at all. It shows just a 2 point lead for Bush in a two-way race and a 4 point lead in a three-way race. BUT, it shows just a plurality of men prefer Bush (48%) to Kerry (43%). What men? Girlie men ???? Heck, Bush beat Gore among men by 15 points...you are telling me he only leads against the sissified ticket of Kerry-Edwards by 5 points??? I think Bush is nearly even with women in this poll.
