The Supreme Court ruled Tuesday that the Trump administration can move forward with a ban on transgender military service members for now, lifting a lower court injunction against the policy after a judge ruled it was an "unsupported, dramatic and facially unfair exclusionary policy." The court did not explain its decision other than to say the order would expire if the justices ultimately take up the case on the merits and issue a ruling striking it down. Litigation continues in the Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Justices Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan and Ketanji Brown Jackson indicated they would...

Western leaders rejected Vladimir Putin’s framework for a ceasefire while backing Ukraine’s demands that Russia return all occupied territories as the basis for any potential peace agreement. The “first annual Global Peace Summit” held in the luxury Swiss resort of Burgenstock, which did not include any representatives from Moscow, concluded with the status quo essentially remaining the same, with Ukraine continuing to demand that Russia cede territory in the East and Crimea as a prerequisite for actual peace talks to begin, a likely non-starter for Vladimir Putin.

“And I will establish my covenant between you and Me, and you and your offspring after you, through their generations for an everlasting covenant. . . and I will give to you and your offspring after you the land of your sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession.” (Genesis 17:7-8; cf. Genesis 13:15; 48:4; Isaiah 60:21) “The LORD will establish you as a people holy to himself, as He has sworn to you, IF you keep the commandments of the LORD your God and walk in his ways. . . But IF you will not obey. ....

Thursday, during an appearance on Fox News Channel’s “The Ingraham Angle,” Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) criticized the U.S. government’s approach to Ukraine. Hawley said there was an anticipation by those proponents to continue “writing checks to Ukraine” forever. “[A]t some point, the American people will have their say on this and four more years of Biden, without a doubt, means four more years of war for the United States,” host Laura Ingraham said. “Is that what Americans want — four more years of war?”

Paper drinking straws touted as eco-friendly alternatives to plastic may contain cancer-linked “forever chemicals,” a new study has found. Scientists detected per- and polyfluorinated substances (PFAS) in the majority of straws they tested — with paper and bamboo-based straws ranking among the worst offenders, according to the study, published on Thursday in Food Additives and Contaminants. Known for their nonstick and waterproof properties, PFAS are common ingredients in a variety of household products, including certain cookware, food packaging, all-weather apparel and cosmetics.

It’s no secret Joe Biden is floundering. Chinese spy balloons drift unmolested across the United States, our southern border remains wide open to any immigrant or drug trafficker who wants to come in, and now we learn that many of our most sensitive national security communications have been exposed to the world. But Biden’s incompetence on the economy may be most damaging to ordinary Americans. A 40-year Wall Street legend who appears regularly on CNBC and Fox Business and is frequently quoted by MarketWatch, Bloomberg, The Wall Street Journal, and dozens more outlets has just issued an urgent warning for...

Experts are airing concerns that deep-pocketed billionaires will soon be able to use their vast wealth to increase their lifespans - allowing them additional time to add to their billions. The scary hypothesis - which seems like something out of a science fiction novel - has been laid by an increasing amount of scientists in recent years, amid recent strides in anti-aging science. Long just a pipe dream, the concept of a modern-day Methuselah - the biblical grandfather of Noah who lived to 969 - is becoming more and more likely. That said, the concept of a driven mogul like...

Los Angeles County is, once again, “strongly recommending” individuals mask up, well over two-and-a-half years after the start of the Chinese coronavirus pandemic. Los Angeles County officials cannot seem to take universal masking off the table, as they are now urging individuals to mask up in indoor settings. They are attributing this to the rise in their seven-day average of coronavirus cases, which reportedly jumped from 65 cases per 100,000 two weeks ago to 86 per 100,000 last week. Now, they are reporting 100 new cases per 100,000.

BERLIN (AP) – German Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s Cabinet approved legislation Wednesday that ensures basic protective measures against the coronavirus pandemic are continued during the fall and winter when more virus cases are expected. The presentation of the rules – which also include the new obligation to wear N95-type face masks during all long-distance travel by train and bus as well as on planes – coincided with the publication of photos showing the chancellor and German Economy Minister Robert Habeck flying to Canada earlier this week without wearing masks.

A full 83 percent of Americans feel the coronavirus pandemic will only be over when the virus mutates to become a “mild illness” or humans build an immunity – which could be never – an AP-NORC poll released Thursday reveals. The survey was conducted between the 13th-18th of January 2022 by AP-NORC, consisting of 1,161 adults. It found most Americans are still very concerned about coronavirus, with only 15 percent of those polled saying they’ll consider the pandemic over when coronavirus is largely eliminated.

Officials from big cities with vaccine mandates for public places say they don't expect the mandates to be permanent. But they also don't have a clear plan for when or how they will lift the mandates that require millions of Americans to show documents to enter restaurants, gyms and more. "It doesn't come with an end date because we don't know what's coming," Philadelphia Health Commissioner Cheryl Bettigole said of her city's vaccine mandate for restaurants. "We have winter and omicron on the horizon. It's very hard to predict what could happen next. We do want to roll this back...

The leftist governing party of the devolved Scottish parliament is calling for its emergency coronavirus powers to be made “permanent”, giving them the ability to shut schools, enforce mask-wearing, and impose lockdowns without time limit. The Scottish National Party (SNP) — which, despite being in favour of superstate EU membership, exists to campaign for the North of Britain to break away from the United Kingdom — published on Tuesday an announcement for a 12-week public consultation on removing the expiry date of the leftist government’s ability to enforce wide-ranging lockdown measures, also apparently broadening them beyond the scope of dealing...

Only 31 percent said they would not continue the ingrained practice.

OVID could mutate into a new super variant which could beat vaccines, make people sicker and reinfect victims in a devastating new outbreak, leading experts have warned. Scientists told The Sun Online about the need to vaccinate as many people as possible and stick to the lockdown rules as it is feared the rapidly changing virus could overwhelm our current arsenal of vaccines. The experts hammered home the need to rob Covid of the rapid person-to-person transmission which helps it develop mutations. And they warned possible new variants in the future could make people sicker and re-infect people who had...

While traditional diamonds are formed over billions of years deep in the Earth where extreme pressures and temperatures provide just the right conditions to crystalize carbon, scientists are working on more expedient ways of forging the precious stones. An international team of researchers has succeeded in whittling this process down to mere minutes, demonstrating a new technique where they not only form quickly, but do so at room temperature. The team applied pressure equal to 640 African elephants on the tip of a ballet shoe, doing so in a way that caused an unexpected reaction among the the carbon atoms...

Imagine if the media, politicians, and corporate health care industry would have told people they’d be restricted and forced to wear masks indefinitely because of a virus that is no worse than a pandemic flu for most people? Well, this entire lockdown mentality would have never gotten off the ground. Which is why it started with a sensible idea of 15 days to slow the spread. But as we soar past 140 days to eradicate a respiratory virus, it’s time for the free people of this country to realize that the freedom will not be restored on its own –...
