The Trump administration will ask Congress for $2.2 billion to build a new FBI headquarters this year, a U.S. Department of Justice official said Monday. If approved, the money will be added to a $3.3 billion plan to tear down the existing FBI building in D.C. and replace it with a more modern facility in the same location.
