President-elect Joe Biden made another cabinet selection on Monday, announcing that Jake Sullivan will serve as his National Security Adviser. Sullivan worked for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and was an advisor for Biden during the Obama administration. The selection signals a Biden administration willing to negotiate with China, as Sullivan has, in the past, suggested America should be involved in their rise. During a lecture in 2017, Sullivan told students at Lowy Institute that “we need to strike a middle course – one that encourages China’s rise in a manner consistent with an open, fair, rules-based, regional order.”...

Just one year ago, a Newsweek reporter was fired after running a story that President Trump spent his Thanksgiving tweeting and golfing. In reality, he had made a trip to Afghanistan to spend time with the troops. “How is Trump spending Thanksgiving? LaVar Ball is having a pretty good week. On Wednesday, his youngest son LaMelo was drafted by the Charlotte Hornets with the third overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. In making that selection, the Hornets ensured that LaVar would go down in NBA history as the first father with two sons taken within the top three picks. While on his celebratory media tour, LaVar appeared on a podcast and took the opportunity to take a jab at President Donald Trump.

Larry Tesler, a pioneer of personal computing credited with creating the cut, copy and paste as well as the search and replace functions, has died. He was 74. Tesler was not nearly as well known as computing giants such as Bill Gates or Steve Jobs. But he played an early, central role in making computers accessible to people without computer engineering degrees, i.e. most of us. Last November, in response to protest, the Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery removed a video installation depicting ants crawling over a small crucifix. This coming November, the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History will exhibit a cut-and-paste Bible of a mere 86 pages. In an indication that he expects to be Barack Obama's vice-presidential pick, Sen. Joseph Biden (D-Del) has begun writing a 50,000-word acceptance speech, aides to the senator confirmed today. Hi Folks. Can anyone give me some pointers on how to use HTML to post pictures and quotes from other sites? I have been trying to post some of the articles from FR to FreeDominion ( Canada's sister site) but am having no luck. Also, I would like to post some stuff on FR from FD, and from some of the Canadian newspapers. Any sites you can suggest that could help me learn? Many thanks to my fellow Conservatives.
