Will someone tell me how to correctly pronounce Pete Butt-boy’s name? I have never learned how to say it, because I have never listened to the liberal media when he was in the news. And every way I can think of pronouncing it sounds dirty.

Once I heard his name at birth was Paul Montgomery. That’s a perfectly good name. Why would anyone change it, especially if he is pursuing a career in politics?

Okay, here’s the latest episode! Right after the fighting on the Thai-Cambodian border in late July, I decided to do an episode on the crisis, because to many of you it must have seemed like it came out of nowhere. I called it a mini-episode, on a par with what I recorded in 2023 when I shared my thoughts about ancient aliens, but after doing the research and recording what I had, the result is long enough to call a regular episode. I was in Orlando, FL, my home from 1966 to 2006. I was working a telemarketing job for Gateway Computers, where I called various businesses around Florida to set up appointments with Gateway’s sales reps. Ironically, when the first plane hit the World Trade Center, I was trying to contact, of all places, the Piper aircraft factory in Vero Beach. Not long after that, both the phone lines and the Internet went down, preventing me from making any more calls for the rest of the day. It took hours to find out what was going on, because the store I was in didn’t have any TVs tuned to news stations. What’s more, I was also a teacher at Valencia Community College (the largest community college in Orlando), and they closed when 9/11 happened, so I couldn’t go there to teach in the afternoon.

A few days before 9/11, I had secured an appointment with the Tupperware headquarters, located between Orlando and Kissimmee, to take place at 10 AM on 9/11. Amazingly, that appointment still happened, and it secured a sale exceeding $1 million for Gateway. It shouldn’t have happened because of the events on that day, but it was my biggest success during the seven months I worked with Gateway. I like to think that sale postponed the downfall of Gateway Computers by at least a year.
