The Buffalo Bills did not end their season the way they wanted, but their offseason is going quite well for a few of them, at least. On Monday, several Bills players traveled to Trump International Golf Club in Palm Beach to golf with President Trump as he celebrated Presidents Day. The Bills players in the pic were Spencer Brown, Dalton Kincaid, Ryan Van Demark, Tommy Doyle, and Sam Martin. Brown, who shared the group pic with the president on his Instagram page, captioned the photo with “45-47,” written in the caption.

Gov. Kathy Hochul’s decision to fork over taxpayer money to build a new stadium for the Buffalo Bills drew renewed scorn – after the NFL team’s billionaire owners sold a minority stake for a massive profit, The Post has learned. Hochul, a Buffalo native, had agreed in 2022 to provide $600 million in state funding – with Erie Country tossing in an additional $250 million – for the privately-owned stadium after Bills owner Terry Pegula threatened to leave Western New York. The new 62,000-seat Highmark Stadium, expected to open in 2026, played a significant role in inflating the value of...

Gilbane Building Company and Turner Construction Company, the general contractors for the new Buffalo Bills stadium project, suspended construction on the project on Tuesday to investigate an incident. There was no activity at the site all day Wednesday — an unusual experience for folks who live and work nearby. "It's very quiet. You do not hear the construction crews. You don't see the vehicles," said Darlene Zlotok, a waitress and bartender at Danny's South on Abbott Road, located across the street from the new stadium site. "None of the cranes are working. None of the bulldozers are. I mean, there's...

The NFL’s player safety and concussion protocols were drawn into the limelight for all the wrong reasons during Buffalo’s Week 5 loss to Houston on Sunday. For the second week in a row, Bills quarterback Josh Allen found himself face down on the turf in a scene similar to the one in last week’s loss to Baltimore— a defender bearing down, an off-balance throw and a grimace-inducing blow to the head. This story featured a new wrinkle, though: smelling salts. The big hit Allen took late in Sunday’s game drew the attention of the league’s concussion spotter, though the quarterback...

That’s a wrap, folks! Superstar quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was officially placed on injured reserve Tuesday by the Miami Dolphins, this coming after he suffered yet another concussion during his team’s “Thursday Night Football” defeat against the Buffalo Bills. With the move, Tagovailoa has to stay on IR for a minimum of four contests, according to NFL rules. As Tua gets back to health, the Dolphins currently have no plans for how long exactly they will have the 26-year-old on injured reserve. Throughout his career in the National Football League, Tagovailoa has had three diagnosed concussions. Mike McDaniel, the head coach...

Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott is apologizing after using the 9/11 terrorists an an example of exemplary teamwork. During the Buffalo Bills' fall training camp in 2019, McDermott urged his team to "come together" using the "strange model" of the al-Qaeda terrorists who attacked America, NFL journalist Tyler Dunne revealed this week. Dunne explained: He told the entire team they needed to come together. But then, sources on hand say, he used a strange model: the terrorists on Sept. 11, 2001. Gov. Kathy Hochul’s administration took steps in several recent disputes involving lucrative upstate gambling rights that were in line with the interests of Delaware North, where hubby Bill Hochul works, a new report says. Just last month, the governor agreed to a last-minute tweak to the state budget to restructure the public-private board overseeing western New York’s Batavia Downs hotel and casino, a competitor of the multibillion-dollar firm where Bill Hochul is senior counsel, the New York Times said. While Delaware North says it is no longer interested in acquiring Batavia, the restructuring could presumably make such a move easier,...

Cole Beasley voiced his frustrations with Bills fans after the team’s dominant win over the Houston Texans on Sunday. Beasley was booed on Sunday by fans at Highmark Stadium, presumably due to his controversial stance on the COVID-19 vaccine. Beasley, who has been outspoken in his comments on the vaccine, has insisted that he is “pro-choice” on the issue despite backlash from fans and colleagues. Bills home games requires guests to have at least one dose of the COVID-19 shot before attending. The tension between the wide receiver — who has said he is unvaccinated — and Bills fans grew...

So the NFL is just throwing fresh salt in an old wound by correcting a controversial penalty that cost the Bills a chance to beat the Texans in an AFC Wild Card game on Jan. 4, 2020. Turns out, it was a blown call. In an officiating training video published to Twitter on Friday, NFL Senior VP of Officiating Training and Development Walt Anderson said Bills right tackle Cody Ford’s illegal block should not have been a penalty. The Bills faced a third-and-9 in overtime when Ford was flagged for an illegal blindside block as quarterback Josh Allen scrambled for...
