The day has finally come. After a long legal battle, the House Oversight Project has begun releasing the audiotapes of Joe Biden’s conversation with ghostwriter Mark Zwonitzer back in 2017. As you may recall, Joe Biden fought tooth and nail for years to keep these recordings from coming out. And now, we know why. Not only do the tapes reveal that President Autopen disclosed classified information to his ghostwriter. But, they show that he knowingly did so. At several points in the recordings, Biden clearly mentions that he is discussing “classified” details. SNIP

Audio recordings that former President Joe Biden fought for years to keep private have now been released. The roughly 70 hours of audio recordings, shared with CBS News, were cited in a 2024 special counsel's report, which said Biden kept volumes of notes at his home that included classified information. Biden, now 83, is at one point in the recordings heard telling his ghostwriter Mark Zwonitzer: "Some of this may be classified … So, be careful. I'm not sure ... It's not marked classified but —" At another point in the recordings he says again: "The next thing I have...

Recently in the news, Dr. Jill Biden shared she was afraid that her husband Joe Biden had a stroke during the June 27, 2024 presidential debate between then President Biden and Republican nominee and now President Donald Trump. Immediately after the debate, Jill said, looking at her husband in the eye while on national TV, “Joe, you did such a great job, you answered every question; you knew all the facts.” Then she turned to the partisan crowd and said, “What did Trump do? He lied.” Here we are two years later and who is the liar? It’s Jill Biden,...

Former President Joe Biden "truly changed his mind" on pardoning his son Hunter — who was convicted on federal gun and tax charges in 2024 — according to former first lady Jill Biden. Shortly after Hunter's conviction, President Biden publicly said "I will not pardon him" and then-White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre repeatedly told the press that a pardon or commutation was off the table. But in the final weeks of his presidency, Biden signed a full and unconditional pardon for his son. On NPR's Newsmakers video podcast, Jill Biden told All Things Considered Host Scott Detrow that then-candidate...

Jill Biden conceded Monday that if she had to do it all over again, she would not advise husband Joe Biden to seek re-election. “Would I want to put Joe through the hurt and the pain that we felt during that time? Never, never. I mean, it was so hurtful,” she told NBC’s “Today” show ahead of the Tuesday release of her memoir, “View from the East Wing.” But, the former first lady added, the decision about whether to run again “had to be his decision alone” and “the doctors said he was healthy” enough to serve four more years.

Former President Joe Biden sued the Department of Justice late Tuesday to block the release of dozens of hours of audio connected to a now-shuttered investigation into his handling of classified documents. At issue: Seventy hours of audio recordings and transcripts dating back to 2017, which are records of conversations between the former president and Mark Zwonitzer, an author who worked with Biden on a memoir about the death of his son, Beau. The records were obtained by the Justice Department by then-Special Counsel Robert Hur, who was appointed by then-Attorney General Merrick Garland in 2023 to investigate Biden.

From a stunning report that confirms, again, skeptics’ concerns over the deadly impact of the COVID-19 shots created by pharmaceutical companies and sold for billions of dollars to the American government during the pandemic, it’s known that federal officials linked those shots to child deaths at the time – and the Biden administration kept it a secret. Investigative journalist Catherine Herridge has reported online the Joe Biden administration “suppressed” details about COVID shot pediatric deaths as well as the total death count. She cited a study done on children who died, of which a number died of the effects “possibly”...

Joe Biden will be remembered as a historic President, but for all the wrong reasons. I and many Americans will remember Biden as he was above- evil incarnate. He was easily the most abusive and corrupt President in history. Joe Biden demonized Republicans, calling them a "clear and present danger." In a fiery prime-time speech, President Joe Biden launched an all-out assault on former President Donald Trump and “MAGA Republicans,” saying they “pose a clear and present danger” to American democracy. And as a means of dealing with that threat Biden chose censorship, in part by floating a Disinformation Governance...

Close, but no Obama. Former President Joe Biden spotted a familiar face on stage during his portrait unveiling at Syracuse University School of Law Tuesday and demanded the man join him at the podium in an awkward exchange. “I always want to turn around to one guy and say … ‘Barack, what are you doing?’” Biden joked during the event at his alma mater. The 83-year-old former president was referring to Jeffrey Scruggs, who is black and the chairman of the school’s Board of Trustees, and apparently reminds Biden of the 44th president, Barack Obama. Biden awkwardly put the spotlight...

Former President Joe Biden reportedly wanted Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer to be his vice president but “had to choose” former Vice President Kamala Harris. An Atlantic article profiled the Democratic governor and potential 2028 presidential candidate on Sunday and reported how Biden considered Whitmer for his running mate in 2020, particularly after her pushback against President Trump. Though Whitmer was ultimately not chosen, the Atlantic claimed that Biden “wanted it to be Whitmer” and was pushed into picking Harris after the Black Lives Matter protests. “All of this attention seemed like it might add up to something, and by summer...

My solution is simple and market based – make colleges co-sign or share default risk on any federally backed loan The Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals just slammed the door on the Biden era’s SAVE student loan repayment plan. On Monday the court told a district judge to approve the Trump administration’s settlement with Missouri and kill the program for good. More than seven million borrowers who had been coasting in forbearance for a year and a half now face the music. They will have to switch to one of the old repayment options or start writing real checks. It...

Federal prosecutors in U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro's office are dropping a criminal probe into whether former President Joe Biden and his aides unlawfully used an autopen to issue pardons, a person briefed on the matter told CBS News. Two sources confirmed the existence of the probe, with one telling CBS News that the matter has since been closed because prosecutors were never able to find a legal hook to be able to pursue the matter further. CBS News has not determined precisely when the case ended.

The Justice Department, after calls by President Trump to investigate former President Joseph R. Biden Jr., scrutinized whether Mr. Biden and his aides broke the law in using the autopen to sign presidential documents, but was ultimately unable to move forward with making a case, according to three people briefed on the matter.

The Justice Department shelved an investigation into former President Joe Biden's use of an autopen, a person briefed on the matter told NBC News on Wednesday. Justice Department pardon attorney Ed Martin, the former “weaponization” czar, opened the probe while he was interim U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia. It wound down recently under Jeanine Pirro, the current U.S. attorney, who is a longtime Trump ally and former Fox News host. The autopen case was never presented to a grand jury, unlike the case that Pirro's office tried to bring forward last month against six members of Congress who...
