Audio recordings that former President Joe Biden fought for years to keep private have now been released.
The roughly 70 hours of audio recordings, shared with CBS News, were cited in a 2024 special counsel's report, which said Biden kept volumes of notes at his home that included classified information.
Biden, now 83, is at one point in the recordings heard telling his ghostwriter Mark Zwonitzer: "Some of this may be classified … So, be careful. I'm not sure ... It's not marked classified but —"
At another point in the recordings he says again: "The next thing I have here is, um, this is classified …"
The recordings were made while Biden worked with his ghostwriter on his 2017 memoir, "Promise Me, Dad: A Year of Hope, Hardship, and Purpose." No classified material was ever alleged to be in the published book.
The tapes first became the topic of intense scrutiny and controversy when they were referenced by Justice Department special counsel Robert Hur in a February 2024 report on Biden's handling of classified documents. Hur began investigating after documents that were marked classified, dating back to his time as vice president, were found in his home and private office. He ultimately did not recommend charges.

The founding father’s were masterful geniuses at setting up our republic.
Unfortunately they never could have foreseen corrupt career politicians squeezing the republic nipple purple for 50+ years to become multimillionaires.
They assumed that those leaders would love our country just as much as they did.
I can only assume those great men now roll in their Graves on a regular basis.
To clarify, these are the recordings he had from his ‘biographer’ interviews? Leaking classified info to people who were not cleared to hear it?
These are not the tapes from his interviews when he was our nominal president? Intermittently testifying about the Arctic Frost and other weaponization of government against Trump? In between naps or conscious thought?
Both of which he’s been hiding for years.
Did he rummage through the NatSec documents at his GARAGE?
It really helps China to be doing business w/ a president’s son, doesn’t it?

Economic and Technological Superiority: With the U.S. actively using the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States to restrict strategic investments, leaked intelligence on American economic and technological vulnerabilities would help Chinese state-backed companies bypass trade and technology curbs.
Historically, while the intelligence community has assessed that foreign adversaries continually attempt to intercept or target U.S. communications, the unauthorized compromise of raw intelligence and the President’s daily assessments remains one of the most critical breaches a nation-state could exploit.

Chinese Government Stance: The Chinese government has consistently denied involvement in U.S. domestic politics, labeling external requests for political investigations into the Biden family as “political blackmail” against China itself.

At this point, what difference does it make. He’s gonna die soon, anyway, and get what’s coming to him in the hereafter. He’s not going to hold a public office again, though they may oust him from his position as Grand Kleagle of the KKK that he inherited from Robert Byrd.
Joe Biden’s ramblings were made indoors, in his office. He was reading through physical notes Biden had taken out of the White House into his home when the recording was made.
Separately, Biden also was keeping these another classified papers and documents in his garage.
(The guy can break the same law twice.
It matters because there are so many others who need to be exposed and hopefully prosecuted

Our team is reviewing the Biden tapes now. We will be out with various bombshells.
But I want to make this point right now. The tapes make clear that Biden disclosed massive amounts of classified information to his ghost writer Marc Zwonitzer.
Now, take a look at 18 USC 798(d).
Last, ask yourself, why didn’t Special Counsel Robert Hur seek a prosecution and then (A) the forfeiture the $8 million book advance that Joe Biden got for Promise Me, Dad; and (B) his Delaware house and any other Biden property where he kept classified information?

Here’s my second meta-point about the Biden tapes we got today after two years of stonewalling, first by the Biden DOJ, and then by Biden’s high-priced private lawyers trying to pretend that that DOJ was a pure as the driven snow:
I’ve listened to a fair amount of the tapes at this point and so far I have not come across anything that deals with a private family matter.
So I conclude the privacy angle was by and large a massive misdirection play.
The lion’s share of these documents we just got are about the illegal retention of classified information, which was unsurprisingly the subject of Robert Hur’s Special Counsel probe.
Massive amounts of our lawyer time was wasted arguing about a legal feint organized by Joe Biden’s lawyers.
Biden is so corrupt ......”the guy can break the same law twice.”
And then go into his “old man” act to escape l/e.
