Federal prosecutors in U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro's office are dropping a criminal probe into whether former President Joe Biden and his aides unlawfully used an autopen to issue pardons, a person briefed on the matter told CBS News.

Two sources confirmed the existence of the probe, with one telling CBS News that the matter has since been closed because prosecutors were never able to find a legal hook to be able to pursue the matter further. CBS News has not determined precisely when the case ended.

And just like that, another “investigation” that turns into fairy dust.

Agreed.

But the real problem resides in the DC juries. From Mark Steyn to the January Sixers, any perceived Conservative/Republican is judged guilty before the ink is dry on their indictments.

Democrats, on the other hand, are given the benefit of the doubt on even the most heinous crimes.

Anyone demanding that the Russia-Gate/stolen election participants must be held accountable for their actions needs to temper their expectations thru that filter.

The problem is having DC as federal judicial district and circuit. With 94% voting for the democratic presidential candidate there is no way to find an unbiased jury pool to indict democrats. After he is done with Iran Trump needs to take out the DC swamp.

If no law was violated, there us no criminal case to bring.

If that’s the case, the law needs to change.

At least the GOP side of the Democratic Party is smart enough to keep it quiet.

The matter was criminal prosecution. The evidence required fora conviction did not sufficiently exist.

The ultimate legality of the autopen use for pardons is not involved. I believe the legality of the pardons is still unresolved.

However, the House should light fires under lots of White House aides

I’m thinking the autopen was used without Slow Joe’s permission, but it was too tough (or impossible) to prove. After all, all Biden has to say is “Come on man, I knew all about it.”

What we need is a law that prohibits use of the autopen above a certain level. Birthday cards to supporters, okay. Presidential appointments and pardons, no.

Will the GOP Congress consider such a thing? Of course not. In many ways they are as slow as Slow Joe himself.

Our legal system was originally founded on fairness and ethics.
Fairness and ethics are antithetical to Democrats.
Y’all can’t convict a Democrat in a Democrat dominated
system.
