We had our first rally today in Hilo and here they are. here they are. (Sure hope this link works. It's my first try at it.) We had a good turn out considering it rained and was our first rally. We will be repeating this every Friday.

Tonight's FReep of the peaceniks on the corner of Fresno's busiest intersection at Blackstone and Shaw Avenue was attended by at least twenty-two FReepers and patriots. This is a great turnout (even though it was not at all like last week's) because it had rained off and on all day and was threatening to start back up again the whole time we were out there. We didn't get rained on though, thank goodness! It was also unseasonably chilly for this part of the country tonight, a chilly forty-seven degrees. Among those FReepers and regulars who were able to be there...

Saturday 5th April, 2003 Canadian rally backs U.S. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Big News Network.com Saturday 5th April, 2003 A freak spring ice storm only slightly dampened the enthusiasm and turnout at a Pro-America rally held in the heart of Canada's financial district Friday. Some 2,000 shivering and chanting people draped in Canadian and U.S. flags milled in front of Toronto's City Hall in a show of support for the U.S.-led coalition's war against Iraq. The organizers of the rally, Friends of America, told the crowd they were part of the silent majority of Canadians who support the United States and the war....

In Toronto today, April 4th, 2003 we gathered to declare our support for America, and our outrage with our government's positions and behaviour. About 2,000 folks by my count made it out in freezing rain that shut down Pearson International, Canad's largest airport. These were people with jobs, folks of all ages. Taxpayers. I hop the Liberal strategists in Ottawa are shuddering right now. They made one of the greatest miscalculations in Canadian history. They believed we could stand away from America and no one owuld care. Wrong, idiots. We do care. Five thousand in Ottawa last weekend, hundreds in...

I went to my first Freedon Rally today on the campus of Texas Tech University- Lubbock, TX. I was amazed at the young leadership and support for our troops. There was a small group of protesters and we even saluted them for their right to protest. However, I shook hands with Vets of WW2 and the look in their eyes and the tears they shed at the sound of the bagpipe playing Amazing Grace, changed me on this wind swept West Texas day. We had a young wife of a marine who said our support would be relayed to her...
