WASHINGTON D.C. (09-24-2026) – Students for Life of America (SFLA) President Kristan Hawkins announced that its attorneys at First & Fourteenth have filed a notice of intent to sue the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) for failures to follow the “Endangered Species Act” (ESA) to address harm from a progesterone blocker to more than 1,500 protected creatures in all 50 states. Hawkins noted: “In 2000 at the beginning of the Clinton Administration, chemical abortion pills were forced on the U.S. market, with all kinds of promises made, promises broken by abortion promoters — all with the FDA’s rubber stamp, signing...

Religion in America has plateaued after a long period of decline, a new report from the Pew Research Center shows. The report, published last week, showed 70% of Americans identify with a religion, 47% pray daily, 44% say religion is very important to them, and 34% attend religious services at least monthly. Monthly attendance for religious services is at a new high in Pew Research Center tracking, though that tracking only goes back to 2020. But the various measures of religious thought and behavior in the new Pew Research Center report have remained within a narrow band for the better...

When condemning socialism, supporting free and fair elections, and promising to uphold the Constitution are no longer bipartisan issues, something has clearly gone wrong in American politics. On Sept. 1, the House of Representatives voted 220-192, with only eight Democrats joining every Republican in voting to denounce socialism. That represents a remarkable change from 2023, when 109 House Democrats—more than half of the party’s caucus—joined Republicans in condemning socialism. House Resolution 1490 packaged several statements together and called upon the House of Representatives to: 1. Condemn and denounce “socialism in all its forms, including the Democratic Socialists of America,” and...

Minnesota's record-breaking early voter turnout is rising fastest in seven rural counties previously won by President Donald Trump, offering a potentially encouraging sign for Republican Michele Tafoya in the state's closely watched Senate race against Democrat Peggy Flanagan, though some analysts warn the turnout data is not a reliable predictor of which party will benefit once all ballots have been cast. Several key Senate races are unfolding this year that will determine control of Congress. Republicans seek to defend their narrow House and Senate majorities and Democrats look to capitalize on competitive races that could flip control of both chambers...

Colorado makes families with traditional values choose: their beliefs or $6,300 per child? This is getting old. Three times in the past decade the Supreme Court has vindicated religious schools excluded from state programs. Colorado still needs a remedial lesson. The state’s “universal” pre-K plan lets religious schools participate only if they agree to enroll families who oppose them on sex and gender. On Tuesday the Justices can reinforce religious liberty in St. Mary Catholic Parish v. Roy.The Colorado program, launched in 2023, pays for 15 hours of preschool a week, about $6,300 a year. Providers are subject to what...

Two years on from her devastating presidential election defeat, Kamala Harris was greeted like a rockstar as she took the stage before a rapt audience at Georgia’s Clark Atlanta University. When a politician is greeted by a friendly crowd, they often hear chants of their name. But at Clark, a historically Black college (HBCU), students instead delivered a school spirit chant for the Atlanta University Center, celebrating an HBCU alumna – and the country’s first female and first Black vice-president – as one of their own. Harris is “big sister general”, said Sanaiya Archer, a sophomore at Spelman College in...

The House Judiciary Committee has released an election eve report on the “consequences of sanctuary policies” in the City of Boston as well as Massachusetts as Mayor Michelle Wu, Gov. Maura Healey and the supermajority Democratic state legislature continue to implement laws to counter President Trump’s nationwide crackdown on illegal immigration. “Democrats’ open-borders policies and sanctuary jurisdictions have had devastating consequences for U.S. citizens. Even after the American people resoundingly rejected Democrats’ pro-illegal alien policies in November 2024, Democrats across the country reinforced sanctuary policies to ensure that the millions of illegal aliens who entered the U.S. are never removed...

Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed has been accused of supporting the Muslim Brotherhood. The Midwesterner wrote that El-Sayed advocated for Sharia law and was heavily affiliated with groups that provided support to Hamas. The apple does not fall far from the tree because his own mother supported terrorist organizations. Three times, El-Sayed has avoided questions about labeling the Brotherhood a terrorist group. He instead mocked his questioner and repeated a painfully generic “this is about democracy” answer. “I’m not going to stoop to that level,” El-Sayed said when asked if he would designate the Brotherhood as a terrorist organization. .......

The crazed student who attacked a Jewish influencer during a debate at the University of Michigan has been identified in online posts as a Mongolian-American activist, who raved about having just been released from a mental hospital, according to her victim. Temulun Togochog, a student at the university, is known for advocating for the rights of ethnic Mongolians living under Chinese rule in Inner Mongolia, according to watchdog group StopAntisemitism. “She said she had been in a mental institution before and she would be happy to go back if it meant she got to kill me,” Jewish activist Lizzie Benichou...

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) expressed deep concern about the upcoming midterms, admitting on the latest episode of his podcast, “The Verdict,” that he is “deeply worried” about Democrats taking back the House and Senate — and winning every statewide election in Texas. “Overall, I am deeply, deeply worried,” Cruz said during the episode released Friday, adding: “What we’re seeing across the country is massive Democrat turnout. Democrats are showing up, they’re energized, they hate, hate, hate Donald Trump. And I don’t want to bury the lede.” He warned, “I want to start with the bad news right now: If the...

The O’Keefe Media Group on Monday released “Talarico Tapes” one day before the midterm elections. James O’Keefe released undercover videos of Texas Democrats admitting Talarico’s “moderate” act is just for the cameras to win over Texas voters. Williamson County Democrat Chair and Talarico’s girlfriend’s family were caught on OMG undercover video revealing James Talarico holds extremely progressive views. “James is not going… he’s not going middle. He’s a progressive,” Matt Menard, Talarico’s girlfriend’s father told the OMG undercover journalist. “Don’t put too much stock into border security comments… “He’s [Talarico] offended by ICE. He and I have spoken about these...

Independent journalist and filmmaker Nick Shirley dropped a 43-minute investigative documentary overnight on X that has already gone viral, exposing how the Biden administration’s handling of unaccompanied migrant children operated as the largest government-funded human trafficking ring in history. In the film, posted to his account, Shirley states that “Your tax dollars trafficked over 300,000 children across the United States while NGOs enriched themselves with millions of dollars,” detailing contracts in which one NGO alone received $895 million while others pulled in more than $100 million each. Shirley notes that groups operating in places like Tucson, Arizona, pocketed large sums...

Ilhan Omar has been hiding links to two of her siblings in London in an alleged bid to create further distance between her and rumored brother Ahmed Nur Said Elmi — whom she married in 2009. Multiple sources told The Post that Mohamed Nur Said Elmi, a political activist for the Puntland cause in Somalia, and Leila Nur Said Elmi, 53, are Omar’s siblings who live in London. Ahmed Elmi, 41 — to whom Omar was married for eight years, and who described himself as “a gay man” in a recent academic paper — is also believed to have lived...

The incident was among 20 bias reports filed at Oregon State at the start of the Fall 2025 semester. President Trump said that he was in 'no rush' to decide whether to resume fighting Iran on the eve of the midterm elections.
