Instructor complained about ‘extensive examples of transphobia’
A class instructor reported an Oregon State University student to the bias response team after he argued there are only two sexes in a final course project.
The incident report, obtained by The College Fix through a public records request, reveals that an instructor (or teaching assistant) flagged the male undergraduate student for holding views critical of gender theory.
The incident was among 20 bias reports filed at Oregon State at the start of the Fall 2025 semester.
While specific details, dates, and course titles were heavily redacted by university public records office the remaining narrative makes it clear that the student’s offense stemmed from disputing that gender is on a spectrum.
According to the report, the student was enrolled in an eight-week summer Canvas course within the university’s College of Education. As part of the course requirements, students were tasked with submitting an “action project” designed to identify a local issue, outline potential collaborators, project a timeline, and take an initial step toward a solution.
Despite acknowledging that the student had “consistently done well in the course, and not struggled with any of the other social justice content,” the instructor initiated formal administrative intervention over the final project, writing that the submission contained “extensive examples of transphobia.”
“Many of the claims he makes in his paper, and the sources he uses, are very transphobic,” the instructor wrote in the report, which categorized the perceived motive as involving “Gender identity, Gender expression, [and] Sex.”

Specifically, the instructor gave several grievances regarding the student’s work, writing that the student “seems to not understand the differences between sex and gender, or that both sex and gender exist on a spectrum outside of the binary.”
The instructor further criticized the student’s research citations, asserting that he “does not seem to understand how to find and verify the validity of sources for coursework,” while writing that “this project did not require peer-reviewed sources.”
The report went on to declare that the student’s perspective was unacceptable for the academic department: “These views are not in keeping with CoEd or OSU values.”
Rather than handling the matter purely as an academic evaluation, the instructor alerted numerous officials: “I have escalated this to my supervisor, program chair, department head, AD, and student support team.”
Miguel Sanchez, the school’s assistant director of outreach and bias response team coordinator, received the incident report. There are no notes about any further resolution, and he did not respond to emails and phone messages left in the past several weeks.
The Fix similarly contacted College of Education Dean Susan Gardner and asked about the bias response process and whether the school allows students to oppose gender identity theories on assignments.
The bias report drew criticism from an education expert.
“Whoever filed this bias report is trying to leverage the power of the school to punish someone for the ‘crime’ of disagreeing with woke gender ideology,” Angela Morabito told The College Fix.
“Because that ideology does not tolerate dissent, its adherents insist that anyone who disagrees must be indoctrinated into submission,” Morabito, communications director for the Defense of Freedom Institute, said. She previously worked for the Department of Education in the first Trump White House.
“This represents yet another shocking example of how bias incident reporting and bias response teams can run amok to chill speech and academic freedom on college campuses,” Morabito said.
The Fix obtained the bias reports after a lengthy battle with Oregon State U. officials, who initially tried to redact all relevant information from the documents (after charging nearly $400.000 in fees).
The Benton County District Attorney’s office eventually compelled the university to turn over the detailed records, after The Fix’s associate editor Matt Lamb filed a formal appeal.
There are several other reports that included students being targeted for their views on sex being binary

Make it up as ya goooo...
“phobic”? NOPE- we aren’t afraid of weirdos who are confused about what sex they are-
“He created them male and female...” Genesis 5:2
There are XXX and XXY aberrations. They hardly warrant this kind of
They can’t define female. Can they define male?
You know, the toxic masculinity ones.
So trans-women AREN’T women after all?
...and there’s the problem Student X hasn’t struggled with any other aspects of “social justice content.”
That means we give birth to live young, feed them milk we produce and that sex is binary and immutable.
I don't care if it hurts your feelings or not.
Reality remains.
Hmmmm...
Maybe AI and *translate* can help find the Latin.
Images from the (pre-WOKE) 1912 Oxford English Dictionary:

Sex is biological.
Gender is grammatical.
“The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.”
They are in their heads. And I’m sure there are plenty that just pretend to be trans.

Now we know why, up until 1945, the LGBTQ crowd were simply called retarded. They were either hidden or institutionalized.
Since they have been given special rights, woooooooo lah laaaaaaaah!!
Unconscionable behavior and thought is everywhere!!
Further, there is much evidence to suggest that the stresses of overpopulation may result in conditions which reduce fecundity.
Do you suppose Egypt had trannies?
it is true- there are variants- but very very few- most all the loud-mouthed ‘trannies’ today are sick people who want to live deviant lives and want the public to approve aND not question anything they should do no matter how sick- noone is putting down those who actually do have both sexes because of natural mix-ups

Saying there are more than two sexes is very cis-phobic.
