Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) expressed deep concern about the upcoming midterms, admitting on the latest episode of his podcast, “The Verdict,” that he is “deeply worried” about Democrats taking back the House and Senate — and winning every statewide election in Texas.
“Overall, I am deeply, deeply worried,” Cruz said during the episode released Friday, adding: “What we’re seeing across the country is massive Democrat turnout. Democrats are showing up, they’re energized, they hate, hate, hate Donald Trump. And I don’t want to bury the lede.”
He warned, “I want to start with the bad news right now: If the election were over today, if just the early votes that have been cast so far were counted, Republicans would lose massively. It would not be close. We would lose both the House and the Senate. It would be a bloodbath.”
Democrats are turning out early to cast their votes in person in record numbers for a midterm election, surpassing or matching Republicans in key states, and many polls and experts predict Democrats will win majorities in both the House and Senate.
“By the way, Texas is excruciatingly close,” Cruz warned Friday. “Understand, we could lose Texas. Let me repeat that: We could lose Texas. And by the way, not just the Senate race, we could lose every single statewide race in Texas — that’s how close these numbers are.”
He noted, “Now, some conservatives, they say, ‘I don’t trust the polls. The polls are all wrong.’ Well, let me tell you, there is a bias in the polls; they do skew left, but I can tell you — having run a lot of campaigns, having examined a lot of numbers — these data are not fake.”

What a loser
I will never forget this dude in 2024 going on Hannity and BEGGING for money since he said “Im down 3 points in the polls I need money” he won by 9 points the whole thing was a sham to get a quick buck
Nope. It is the best thing that he could say. He is Telling republicans that if they don’t get out and vote then it is over.
If Paxton loses its because Texas has been invaded by muslims and Hindus not because Talerico’s policy ideas.
💯
Lindsay Graham would do the same and win big.
Who does this dude, Marco Margaritoff, remind you of? Someone named Abdul?
I remember him going to the border in 2016 with his sidekick Glenn Beck and handing out soccer balls and Teddy bears (cute huh?) to illegal’s DACA offspring.
Then when he lost, acting like the Willie Wanker Blueberry Girl, all the way up to the convention.
Cruz can pound sand into a rathole.
Take this whole article with a grain of salt…look where the article comes from, the Huffington Post, for God sake!
Iran war fiasco (terrorists still in power and high oil/gas prices) + Trump BS talk for 8 months, Epstein Bondi fiasco, Klueless Kash with no one arrested or indicted for J6 civil rights violations, stupid Republican Congress passing more debt bills, ... doomed us and the Republican Party in this election.
I remember him practically crying on Gox news years ago that he was going to lose of he didn’t get more money from the Fox viewers. What a shyster.

Around that same time Glenn Beck put his face in crushed up cheetoz to mock Trump. Hate that grifter. Never forget!
ROFL! I remember that!
bkmk
Cruz can pound sand into a rathole.
Into his own rathole!
Tell us how hard you have been working for Paxton and the party ticket in Texas, Ted.
Throughout this whole election, I just can’t see anyone that is the least bit conservative voting for a democrat. You don’t vote for the side that stands against almost everything you stand for just to send a message. I could see not voting or voting third party...I just can’t see crossovers. Not any more.
On the other hand, I also can’t see people thinking that democrats are the solution to the problems we’re facing. They are responsible for most of them, in fact. If the American electorate is that stupid (which I’ve often thought they are), then we’re doomed. It’s just a matter of time.
That's your answer.
