[Catholic Caucus] Pope Leo’s Amoris Laetitia Summit: Doctrinal Confusion and a Secret Final Report A Vatican summit meant to celebrate Amoris Laetitia instead ignited controversy over marriage, sexuality and the Church’s moral teaching. From a nun’s shocking remarks about Our Lord to calls to recognize new forms of family life, here’s the radical trajectory, Bishop Schneider’s warning, and the final report that never saw the light of day. Amoris Laetitia: An Aberrant DocumentAmoris Laetitia is certainly not the worst of Francis’s magisterial documents, but within the apostolic exhortation it is possible to identify statements and provisions concerning the relevant application...

Two Catholic bishops have expressed regret about agreeing to a White House meeting that produced a publicly distributed photo of them praying with President Donald Trump.Milwaukee Archbishop Jeffrey Grob, in a statement titled “A Public Apology,” said Sunday that he had received many questions and comments — some of them distraught — about the meeting on Thursday which he and 11 other bishops attended. He said the meeting was speedily publicized by the White House with photos and a video, without consent of the participants, and less than two weeks away from the midterm elections.“I feel a heavy sadness, not only...

Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth ordered aides to fetch him a globe associated with legendary World War II General Dwight Eisenhower — and they broke it, The Washington Post reported Thursday. According to the Post, the large orb fell while being carried by untrained staff, resulting in the loss of a large chunk of the world near Antarctica. The Post reported that historic items are typically moved around the Pentagon premises by trained curators. However, Hegseth’s office had dispatched its own team. A Pentagon official told AFP in a statement that “an accident” had occurred. However, the statement referred to the...

The Pentagon is preparing U.S. military bases to keep operating for at least 90 days without outside support as it prepares for the possibility of a major war that could cripple power grids, disrupt supply chains and threaten critical infrastructure on American soil. The new requirement is part of FORTRESS, a broader military initiative aimed at ensuring American forces can continue fighting even if the civilian systems they depend on are disrupted, according to documents reviewed by Fox News Digital. "We don't want to rely on standard civilian municipal infrastructure to run our national defense. We just simply can't. It's...

This will blow your mind. A team of physicists recently trapped a single antimatter particle for months — a delicate feat where one wrong move could’ve blown up their lab, according to new research. Antimatter, which explodes when it comes into contact with the ordinary matter, was captured by researchers at Northwestern University and stored in a cold box where they used incredibly cold temps and magnets to suspend the particle in midair, according to findings published in the Physical Review Letters. “We actually coaxed this very fast positron to sit there and behave for months at a time,” lead...

Serbia's Aleksandar Vucic conceded defeat to a student-led protest movement in a historic election on Sunday that ends his long grip on power and heralds a new political era in the Balkan country. The streets of Belgrade erupted in celebration after Vucic's announcement, with cars honking and students shouting "victory" and "he's done". The snap elections came after almost two years of student-led demonstrations against perceived corruption and creeping authoritarianism triggered by the deaths of 16 people when a train station canopy collapsed in the city of Novi Sad in 2024. "Dear Serbia, tonight the voice of the people is...

Story highlights Elon Musk said SpaceX restricted Starlink in Ukraine over its alleged use for offensive drone strikes, claiming the loophole had been closed and access restored. He warned that Ukraine’s frontline would “collapse immediately” if Starlink were switched off.

"By [Thy judgments] Thy servant is warned; in keeping them there is great reward" (Ps. 19:11). Heeding God’s warnings brings spiritual protection and great joy. Psalm 19:11 concludes David's hymn on the sufficiency of Scripture. How appropriate that it ends noting the value of God's warning, because guarding His people against temptation, sin, error, foolishness, false teachers, and every other threat to their spiritual well-being is a major concern to God. For example, God said to the prophet Ezekiel, "Now as for you, son of man, I have appointed you a watchman for the house of Israel; so you will...

Yeshiva University takes its name from a Jewish study hall, where dissenting views and passionate disagreements are encouraged. However, YU’s institutionalization of DEI—a profoundly rigid, intolerant ideology—flies in the face of what a yeshiva is. YU professes to be “rooted in Jewish thought and tradition” and committed to “timeless values.” This makes sense—Jewish tradition has lasted for thousands of years and was arguably instrumental in the founding of the United States. DEI, on the other hand, is anything but timeless; it has Marxist roots, and no Marxist society has ever prospered. Alas, YU’s curricula reveals its commitment to timeless values...

Former Somalia Minister of Information alleges Ilhan Omar shared classified intel from the Foreign Affairs Committee with Somali leaders TREASON Cc @TheJusticeDept

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D., Minn.) appeared to take a shot at President Donald Trump in the video she posted Friday that depicted her strolling along a serene Minnesota lakeside with her current husband. The video was set to a violence-hued hip-hop diss track by a Somali musical duo who rap about how they will “subjugate and humiliate” their enemies, leaving them to “suffer and cry in seething,” according to a certified translation commissioned by the Washington Free Beacon. To anyone who doesn’t speak Somali, Omar’s 27-second video—which currently has 2.5 million views on X—gives an impression that the Minnesota Democrat...

“Marine Le Pen has called for a 'renaissance for France' in her presidential campaign speech, the day after violent protest broke out once more across the country. Earlier today, the police announced 1,314 people had been arrested in weekend protests across France, with 53 officers hurt in the clashes. The National Rally leader has been using the clashes to fuel her campaign to be France's next president in April, accusing current authorities of being soft on violent protesters and lacking authority. Current polling shows the hard-Right politician is in the running to push out Emmanuel Macron's centrist government. Addressing 10,000...

The Trump administration's new fraud whistleblower program has received thousands of tips in just days, Assistant Attorney General for the National Fraud Enforcement Division Colin McDonald revealed Saturday on "My View with Lara Trump," as the Justice Department ramps up its crackdown on fraud. "In the last few days, we've received thousands of tips through this new tip line. This is a novel approach, a novel approach to try new things to combat the fraudsters," he said, adding that fraudsters were "constantly evolving" new tactics while the federal government just did "the same old thing" until now. "We are going...

MAINEVILLE, OHIO — A mosque rising amid rural homes and farmland in southwest Ohio has become a focal point in the community’s growing concerns over an influx of foreign-owned trucking companies and trucking fraud, with a Fox News Digital review revealing significant financial ties between the mosque, trucking companies and the government of Uzbekistan. Roughly one mile north of the main intersection in Maineville, a small Warren County village with about 1,400 residents, sits the Islamic Center of Maineville, which has been under construction for the past four years following its approval by Hamilton Township in April 2022. Explanation: Is our universe haunted? It might look that way on this dark matter map. The gravity of unseen dark matter is the leading explanation for why galaxies rotate so fast, why galaxies orbit clusters so fast, why gravitational lenses so strongly deflect light, and how visible matter is distributed. The featured image from the American Museum of Natural History's Hayden Planetarium Space Show, Dark Universe, highlights one example of how pervasive dark matter might haunt our universe. In this frame from a detailed computer simulation, complex filaments of dark matter, shown in black, are strewn about the universe like...

Is the news media manipulated? It’s been four years since I wrote that effective altruism is neither effective nor altruistic. The mangy movement, which went into remission when Sam Bankman-Fried went to the big house for fraud, is back. This time it’s placing journalists in newsrooms to tell us how artificial intelligence will kill us all. So much for media’s already fragile credibility. According to Gallup, only a third of Americans have a “great deal” or “fair amount” of trust in media. I’m convinced that started in 1975, when “Saturday Night Live” first appropriated the Walter Cronkite-like news desk, and...
