Story highlights Elon Musk said SpaceX restricted Starlink in Ukraine over its alleged use for offensive drone strikes, claiming the loophole had been closed and access restored. He warned that Ukraine’s frontline would “collapse immediately” if Starlink were switched off.

Tic, Toc, Tic, Toc.
Right after Trump told Z to stop hitting oil infrastructure and Z ignored him.
I am sure he has already pissed on Musk, but Musk already knows how to handle this stuff.
probably cause he had to get rid of Amber.
I would be more wary of a demonstratively crazy X-gf than another crazy a actor who dances in high heels and plays piano with his penis while his friends join in

Pssst....said Trump...those are our cards...you have nothing
Go away, Russian troll
Until a few years ago, the world got by without Starlink.
“the first batch of 60 operational Starlink satellites was launched on May 24, 2019”
“Pre-orders were first opened to the public in the United States and Canada in early 2021”
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Starlink
If Urkaine wants to kill Russians to defend their nation...that is up to them to build the satelites or find a country that will allow them to use theirs.
Seriously, if this was the USA being blocked from using something to prevent us from bombing Iran...the media would be saying it’s just, humane, fair, and righteous.
Using starlink to coordinate the movements of war materiel is okay but using it to control the drones that were in those shipments isn't?
It's a difference without a distinction.
I think Ukraine sends several hundred long-range drones into Russia each day.
They might drop transmitter babies with parachutes from time to time to form short-term mesh networks.
Starlink does not work in Russia.
At most, cutting Starlink back might delay Ukie strikes on Russian refineries a few hours. The actual guidance is 40+ year old tech with improvements like faster DSP processors, more memory, and so on. My best man used to work on it for TI, those 40+ years ago. He was very limited in what he could say directly, so he just directed me to the Defense Journals that published all sorts of information, just not the very most detailed of the engineering info., such as detailed circuitry for the latest chips.
Moreover, Ukraine ceased strikes on Russian energy targets for 3 days, after Trump said “stop”, and Russia never slowed it’s attacks on Ukrainian energy strikes at all. If Z-Man had waited any longer, he’d probably end up with his head on a pike and Federov (more aggressive), and also friendly with Musk) might be in charge. Directly matched up, Federov is more popular than Zelenskyy, as are Valerii Zaluzhnyi and Kyrylo Budanov.
The situation is, ALL of Z-man’s popular political competition in Ukraine are as hard line or even harder line than Zelenskyy.
You of course are ignorant of all of that.
If Ukraine knows where and what it wants to hit, it probably will be.
Starlink would be useful for hitting things that move and are many miles from the front line.
No need. Autonomous tech (to hit targets with powered weapons) is actually quite old, as IT goes. See my post just above.
40+ years ago we had cruise missiles that could:
Autonomously navigate to a target area, confirm / identify the target, adjust for best approach vector, and nail the target precisely.
Except it doesn’t work in Russia at all.
Perhaps, but why bother when autonomous navigation is 40+ year old weapons tech?
SpaceX does have a geofence disallowing Starlink terminal use inside Russian But if you beat on the AI for a few minutes it will finally admit that not only can Starlink satellites be theoretically used for navigation but has been shown to work by Ohio Sate and others. "No uplink, no terminal, no SpaceX permission — purely passive reception" and attached to a drone with no need for a dish or panel antenna.
The Starlink transceivers are moving because they are on the actual drones.
That is completely different than being stationary and providing Internet.
