Austin Justice @AustinJustice Memphis was one of the most dangerous cities in America. It’s now becoming a model for how to fight crime when you have a terrible DA. From the peak: - Murders down 47% - Carjackings down 48% - Robberies down 51%. - Vehicle theft down 80%. What changed: 1. State troopers took over interstate patrol, freeing up local officers. 2. U.S. Fiscal Situation Continues to Deteriorate In just the past week, the debt and deficits of the United States took further blows as spending increases, falling revenues, and geopolitical hostilities tightened the funding vice. Over that same time, however, other long-term headlines have surfaced that will greatly impact gold and silver over time. You may have missed them, so, for this week's post, let's recap. Monthly Treasury Report – March Deficit Let's start with the latest...

Some of the weapons in question were purchased by European countries under the Foreign Military Sales program, or FMS, but have not yet been delivered, the sources added. Those deliveries will likely be delayed, U.S. officials told European officials in bilateral messages in recent days, the sources said.

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna is still in her second term, but already on the cusp of becoming a national figure. She’s gone one-on-one with Joe Rogan. On live TV, she corrected Bill Maher about her “Cuban” ethnicity (“We’re Mexican. We’re not all the same, Bill.”) If you could buy stock in a politician’s future, Rep. Luna’s stock value would be soaring. You don’t have to be a genius to figure out why. If Jay Leno’s quip is accurate — and politics is “show business for ugly people” — then Mrs. Luna is preposterously overqualified. Not too many of her colleagues...

imo, There's no doubt in MY mind that Mamdani was selected to be the Mayor. After seeing two rabid Muslims singing a relatively Protestant church bus song together with some very enthusiastic (whom obviously KNEW the song, thus . . church/children Sunday School ..attendees) children, it appears that the radicals have invaded us and are stepping up their indoctrination the way they ALWAYS do . . . . they use our own ways and laws against us.The plan is to take over the Island of Manhattan and eventually make it a Caliphate / Islamic State. . . . . We are...

Coal-fired power plant retirements in the United States dropped to their lowest level in more than a decade in 2025, as operators delayed or canceled closures and federal officials stepped in to keep some facilities running to support grid reliability, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA). New data released Monday by EIA shows that the U.S. electric power sector retired 2.6 gigawatts (GW) of coal capacity across four plants last year — the smallest annual total since 2010, and a figure below the 8.5 GW of retirements that had been planned at the start of the year. Instead,...

Whoopi Goldberg: This will come as interesting surprise to everyone. Do you know who just lost one of his biggest supporters over the ongoing war in Iran? Far-right commentator Tucker Carlson says he regrets ever helping to put you-know-who in the White House. Take a look. You and I and everyone else who supported him, you wrote speeches for him, I campaigned for him. I mean, we're implicated in this, for sure. Yes. It's not enough to say, well, I changed my mind, or like, oh, this is bad, I'm out. It's like in very small ways, but in real...

A taxpayer-funded babysitter who mercilessly beat two young children flashed a carefree smile Wednesday when she was finally arrested – nearly a month after videos of the attacks were given to authorities. La’keysha Jackson, 24, vacantly smirked Wednesday as NYPD detectives led her out of the Bronx Special Victims Unit, hours after cops cuffed her for beating a pair of kids with a belt nearly 60 times. La’keysha Jackson was caught on camera allegedly beating kids in her care. “Our clients can rest easier now knowing that Ms. Jackson is no longer on the street,” the family’s lawyer, Daniel Szalkiewicz,...

Voters are in the Virginia polls, choosing yes or no on a constitutional amendment that could sway four seats in the U.S. House of Representatives come November. New congressional redistricting maps were ignited by second-term Republican Donald Trump’s pressure onto Texas in 2025. Thus far, redraws have given hope for Republicans to gain three seats; Virginia could change that to a one seat deficit. The state has six Democrats and five Republicans in the House, and if the amendment passes would be forecast to reach a 10-1 edge. In the last statewide presidential vote of 2024, Democrat Kamala Harris edged Trump...

The Supreme Court agreed Monday to weigh in on whether Colorado can exclude Catholic schools from its universal pre-K program over their rejection of students who have same-sex parents. The Catholic preschool in Littleton, Colorado, filed a lawsuit against Colorado arguing that its exclusion from the preschool program is religious discrimination and violates the First Amendment, Politico reported. Specifically, the school says it is being discriminated against because the state will not provide an exemption from its rules and would require the school to admit everyone, including students who identify as LGBTQ+ and students who have LGBTQ+ parents. Colorado has...

Updated April 21, 2026, 9:54 a.m. ET WASHINGTON — President Trump has rejected the idea of letting talks with Iran keep going if they run past tomorrow’s cease-fire expiration without a deal in place. “Well, I don’t want to do that. We don’t have that much time,” Trump told CNBC’s “Squawk Box” Tuesday morning when asked about the idea. “They have to negotiate. And, you know, the one thing I’ll say is this: Iran can get themselves at a very good footing. If they make a deal, they can make themselves into a strong nation again, a wonderful nation again,”...

Media liberals have been performing an increasingly common shtick. They piously proclaim that they are not comparing President Donald Trump and MAGA to Hitler and the Nazis ...and then they proceed to do exactly that. The latest example of this absurdly disingenuous technique comes via David A. Graham in Saturday's Atlantic magazine with "The Film That Explains Contemporary America."The title itself actually says that the film directed by Marcel Ophuls which is the excellent documentary The Sorrow and The Pity about life in occupied France during World War II "EXPLAINS Contemporary America." And yet Graham after the obvious comparison presents...

Jean Raspail’s ‘The Camp of the Saints’ isn’t a racist screed, it’s a story about how civilizations die. In an act of censorship that liberals would normally decry as fascist and authoritarian, Amazon banned a new edition of The Camp of the Saints by the late French novelist Jean Raspail — and then quietly re-listed the book after online backlash to the company’s attempted censorship. The book, published by a small outfit called Vauban Books, was removed from Amazon’s U.S. site on Monday with almost no explanation. As of this writing, Amazon has not explained why it de-listed the...

My wife and I were tardy, but we did vote on Saturday against the Virginia Democrats’ outrageously unfair redistricting proposal which would eliminate four pro-life Republican Congressional Representative and replace them with four pro-abortion Democrats. Currently, the divide is six Democrats and five Republicans. The new divide would 10-1. There were hordes of “yes” signs ostensibly to “restore fairness,” but does 10 Democrats and 1 Republican “restore fairness”? In 60 years of voting, I’ve never read anything so deliberately and maliciously deceptive. To be crystal clear, if on April 21, the constitutional amendment passes, Virginia will have one—ONE—pro-life Republican and...

Two years ago, dozens of FBI agents with guns drawn descended on the home of pro-life Christian activist Mark Houck in a terrifying early-morning raid. The 52-year-old father of seven was arrested in front of his horrified wife and children. Houck was charged and tried for violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act (FACE Act) after he shoved a pro-abortion volunteer escort who was harassing his young son outside an abortion clinic in Philadelphia. While the Biden administration sought up to 11 years in prison and a $350,000 fine, Houck was acquitted by a federal jury in less...
