Two years ago, dozens of FBI agents with guns drawn descended on the home of pro-life Christian activist Mark Houck in a terrifying early-morning raid. The 52-year-old father of seven was arrested in front of his horrified wife and children.
Houck was charged and tried for violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act (FACE Act) after he shoved a pro-abortion volunteer escort who was harassing his young son outside an abortion clinic in Philadelphia.
While the Biden administration sought up to 11 years in prison and a $350,000 fine, Houck was acquitted by a federal jury in less than an hour of deliberations. He later went on the offensive, suing the Department of Justice. The lawsuit alleged malicious prosecution, retaliatory prosecution, abuse of process, false arrest, assault, and intentional infliction of emotional distress committed by federal employees and agents against Mr. Houck, Mrs. Houck, and their children.
The prolonged retaliation and prosecution took a severe toll on Houck’s family. His wife suffered three miscarriages in the stressful aftermath, which she and the family attributed to the trauma and ongoing legal battle.
Houck ultimately emerged victorious. The 40 Days for Life Institute of Law & Justice, which represented him, announced that “Mark’s family has been awarded over a million dollars for what they went through in the ridiculous raid of his home.”
Furthermore, the Trump Justice Department has fired several lawyers involved in prosecuting anti-abortion protesters, including Sanjay Patel, who led the task force enforcing the FACE Act.

YES!!!
Well this is the best news I’ve read today!
Wrong people paying the tab — time to prosecute the govt perps and take their pensions.
Are any of the people personally involved being held personally responsible?
Agree!!!
Taxpayer pays the fine. A Deputy AGs and some lawyer underlings lose their jobs, but remain part of the deep-state KGB-DOJ apparatus, probably hired on at some "think tanks" until the next regime comes in and they are re-hired at a higher level.
It's hardly a victory. Its a stalemate.
Good for Mark. I used to listen to his Catholic men’s ministry podcast, “The King’s Men”, years ago.
Doubtful there’s any personal accountability. Money is little comfort for this family. They forever have to live with the trauma of something that should not have happened. We need to do better in enforcement of law.
Imagine what would have happened if Trump hadn’t been reelected.
Thanks for posting this!
Pronto.
Same here.
So happy to hear he won! would have liekd ot see the settlement a billion or more dollars (alex jones was sued and lost for over 1 billion- dominion or smartmatic or whatever threatened ot sue for billions- etc)
would be nice if he could take them, the people directly involved in arresting him, to civil court as well-
Agree 100%.
I would like to see the people responsible given capital punishment.
On the one hand, it’s good, but on the other, it’s the same old garbage. It’s the agency that pays instead of the individual agents, who were the wrongdoers. As long as ths sham continues, these violations will keep happening. Take everything of value from each agent and see real change.
The Houcks now need to sue Pro-Abortion Rights Groups: The National Abortion Federation (NAF), Planned Parenthood, and the Feminist Majority Foundation (FMF).
These abortion worshippers colluded with the Biden DOJ, providing real-time information and documentation on pro-life activists.
Collusion between government officials and nonprofits often involves felony charges such as bribery, embezzlement, misappropriation of public funds, and mail/wire fraud. This corrupt activity frequently includes steering government grants to favored nonprofits in exchange for kickbacks, personal gain, or political, leading to charges under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO).
Key crimes committed in this context include Bribery and Kickbacks: Officials receive bribes to direct contracts or grant money to specific nonprofits, violating 18 U.S.C. § 201.
Embezzlement and Misappropriation: Nonprofit executives steal funds or misappropriate grants intended for public services (e.g., healthcare, education) for personal use.
Fraud Schemes: Submission of fraudulent invoices for non-existent services, bid-rigging for government contracts, and creating fake vendors to syphon money.
Conspiracy and RICO Charges: The government can prosecute these actions as a “pattern of racketeering activity” (RICO) if it constitutes an organized criminal enterprise.
Conflict of Interest/Public Corruption: Violations occur when government employees violate their official duty for private gain through nonprofits, often leading to federal investigations.
Nonprofits involved in such schemes may lose their tax-exempt status, while officials and directors face imprisonment, such as in cases of fraudulent misuse of public funds.
