This disabled military veteran was completely confused when police officers showed up at his home one evening, telling him they wanted him to step outside and talk. When he wisely said no, even though they had no warrant, the officers then barged into his home in front of his entire family, handcuffing him, threatening to tase him, and throwing him to the ground, injuring him in front of his shocked family. Then these cops realized that, oops, they were at the wrong person’s house. Why? They were looking for a shoplifter who allegedly stole $150 worth of shrimp from a...

GAZA — The few remaining terrorists keeping up the fight against Israel acknowledged their grim circumstances this week, as the three surviving members of Hamas started to think that maybe their October 7, 2023, wasn't such a great idea. As overheard by a surveillance team, the three terrorist fighters reportedly conferred with each other early Tuesday morning as they huddled together in the rubble of their Gaza hideout, lamenting ever participating in the horrific plan to murder 1,200 people and take 250 others hostage now that it had resulted in Hamas being brought to the brink of extinction. "Hindsight...

Journalist Bari Weiss has taken over CBS news, which may be the end of journalism as we know it. Sources say she is already making aggressive changes to the network. Here is a list of terrifying changes she presented to her employees: 1. Effective immediately, each journalist gets three libels and you're out: This is unreasonably strict. 2. Going forward, reporters are required to include at least one true fact in all stories: This could slow down news production drastically. 3. Feelings no longer count as a valid source: Sources have to be actual living people. 4. Style change when...

Senate Republicans confirmed a staggering tranche of President Donald Trump’s nominees on Tuesday as the government shutdown continues. Lawmakers voted along party lines to confirm the batch of 107 of Trump’s nominees, a move that whittled down the remaining pending nominees on the Senate’s calendar to double digits. It also came as the upper chamber was deadlocked in the midst of a government shutdown, during which floor votes have largely been dedicated to trying to reopen the government. The slate of confirmed nominees included many of Trump’s top allies and former candidates that he hand-picked to run in previous elections....

Two years ago, I woke up to reports that something was up in Israel. I filed my first reaction when there were just - just - a hundred and fifty dead. That corpse count rose quickly through the day to 1,200 - the highest number of slaughtered Jews since the Second World War. But, even in those early hours, the nature of the event was clear: The hippie chicks seized at a near parodic peacenik music festival, raped to death, and then taken as hunting trophies to have their corpses paraded bloody and naked through the streets of Gaza as...

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -Air traffic control staffing issues are delaying flights for a second straight day at numerous U.S. airports as the government shutdown reaches its seventh day, the Federal Aviation Administration said in a notice on Tuesday. The FAA said many flights were being delayed at Nashville and Newark airports, among others. Arriving flights were being held for up to 30 minutes at Newark due to the staffing issues. Nashville air traffic control is facing significant staffing issues and will curtail operations later on Tuesday, the FAA said. Approach control will be taken over later by Memphis Center, it added....

Researchers suggest increase does not necessarily reflect a rise in clinically meaningful cancersKey Takeaways The increase in early-onset cancers is not necessarily due to a rise in clinically meaningful cancers, researchers argued, but may be due to increased diagnostic scrutiny and overdiagnosis. Of the eight fastest-rising cancers, only two -- colorectal and endometrial cancer -- have shown a slight increase in early-onset mortality. For the six other cancers, stable or declining mortality rates alongside rising diagnoses suggest that greater detection (rather than more disease) may account for the trend. The recent rise in the incidence of early-onset cancers does not...

A middle school gym teacher who described himself as a “pig” before being jailed for repeatedly raping a 15-year-old girl was killed by another inmate in his North Carolina cell Sunday. Ernest Nichols, 60, was convicted in 2011 and sentenced to 15 years behind bars for statutory rape. He was originally arrested on a staggering 27 charges, including a laundry list of sex offenses, WRAL reported. Nichols was found dead in his cell at the Greene Correctional Institution in Maury, NC around 6:50 a.m., sending the prison into a lockdown.

Stephen Miller, the deputy White House chief of staff, clapped back at Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) on Monday after she joked about his height and called him a “clown.” “Well, we knew that her brain didn’t work,” Miller told Fox News’s Laura Ingraham on her show “The Ingraham Angle.” “Now we know that her eyes don’t work. So, the, she’s a mess, right? What a trainwreck. What a trainwreck.” “Every time she’s on TV, Republican approval ratings go up, Democratic approval ratings go down,” Miller continued. “That lady is a walking nightmare.”

Observations by 30+ hiring managers and tech recruiters about what’s happening: a flood of inbound applications means more selective hiring, there’s increased demand for product engineers, and moreLast month, we published a deepdive on the tech jobs market based on data that revealed a slow, steady rise in recruitment across Big Tech and startups. There’s also predictably massive AI engineering demand, fewer remote roles, and the growing significance of location, among other things. The job market feels pretty weird right now: hiring managers say it’s hard to fill positions, but software engineers also get fewer responses to their applications. Also...

The status quo is not going to cut it for Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney at his Tuesday meeting with President Donald Trump in Washington. With an unemployment rate of 7.1%, the highest level in nine years and half a percentage point higher since the start of this year, Canada’s economy is faltering. Steep tariffs Trump slapped on cars, steel and aluminum — key Canadian exports to the United States — are making matters worse. And Carney’s meeting is happening just as Trump is prepared to deal another blow to the Canadian economy: tariffs on softwood and lumber, among the...

House Speaker Mike Johnson defended himself and fellow GOP leaders after Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene criticized them for lacking a plan to deal with the expiring COVID expansion of Obamacare subsidies. “There’s a lot of work that’s been done on that,” Mr. Johnson, Louisiana Republican, said Tuesday. “It’s implied as if this has been some sort of ignored issue. It’s not that at all.”Ms. Greene, Georgia Republican, took to social media on Monday to announce her support for extending the enhanced Obamacare subsidies, which Democrats are demanding to reopen the government. It was a notable break from other right-wing lawmakers who...

On September 26, 2025, U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean P. Duffy announced an emergency order requiring states to immediately stop issuing or renewing non-domiciled commercial driver’s licenses (CDLs). This directive ends a widespread practice in many states of issuing CDLs to non-citizens without employment-based visas or extending them well beyond the expiration of holders’ work visas. Over the past few years, motor carriers have increasingly hired drivers with non-domiciled CDLs. These drivers have been attractive hires because they often accept wages below those of their American counterparts and are willing to violate hours-of-service (HOS) rules without fear of repercussions. Many non-domiciled...

We've known for a while that the FBI and DOJ, under the Biden administration, ran an operation called "Arctic Frost" that targeted conservative figures and organizations, including the late Charlie Kirk and TPUSA. The Holy Rosary, the Hope of Lepanto, of Europe, of the World…Today we celebrate Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, a feast instituted by Pope Saint Pius V in commemoration of the great victory at Lepanto on October 7th in 1571, when the Christian fleet led by Don Juan of Austria crushed the invading, and seemingly invincible, navy of the Ottoman Turks, who had turned the Mediterranean into an Islamic lake. They had never been defeated, and the last stronghold, the fortified town of Famagusta on Cyprus, fell in 1571. Lala Kara Mustapha Pasha had promised safe surrender for...
