Disclosure by the FBI to Congress answers a long-simmering question but does not reveal what the agents did that day. The FBI has acknowledged it had 274 plainclothes agents in the massive crowds on Jan. 6, 2021, more than four and a half years after questions were first raised about the level of FBI involvement that day, Blaze News has learned. A senior congressional source said the number is not necessarily a surprise, since the FBI often embeds countersurveillance personnel at large events. But given the FBI’s until-now steadfast refusal to disclose the level of its presence at the Capitol,...

More than two decades ago, Ukrainian and Polish archaeologists unearthed an exquisitely carved marble head of a female statue at the ancient Greek site of Chersonesus on the Crimean Peninsula. The artist skillfully rendered the woman's features with a hint of both Greek idealism and Roman realism, which prompted researchers to wonder who exactly the sculpture was meant to depict. La Brújula Verde reports that researchers have recently scrutinized many aspects of the sculpture -- including its date, design, execution, and archaeological context -- to finally ascertain the mystery woman's identity. Researchers determined the statue likely represents an aristocratic woman...

According to a report from All That's Interesting, a team from Archäologie Burgenland unearthed a set of massive circular monuments in Rechnitz along the Hungarian border that has provided an unprecedented glimpse at life there during the Neolithic period. The features were first tentatively identified several years ago through aerial photography and geophysical survey, but researchers are only now understanding how extensive the site truly is. Excavations have uncovered at least three monumental earthen enclosures, some measuring 350 feet across, formed by a series of concentric circular ditches and wooden palisades that were built between 4850 and 4500 b.c. The...

Trump blasted the UN as corrupt, anti-American, and obsessed with “woke nonsense,” vowing to cut funding while pushing it to focus on peace and real security. During his address to the United Nations General Assembly this week, President Trump denounced the UN for its uselessness in ending wars, stating that the world organization is not living up to its potential and pointedly asked, “What is the purpose of the United Nations?” This is a question many Americans have asked recently as they watched President Trump and his foreign policy team try to end wars around the world while the UN...

Today a grand jury in northern Virginia indicted James Comey on two criminal counts that I take to be essentially the same. The indictment has nothing to do, at least directly, with Comey’s misconduct in connection with the Russia Collusion Hoax. He deserves to go down in history as a betrayer of his office and of the American people for that shameful conduct. Here, he is charged with a single misdeed: lying when he told a Senate committee, in response to a question from Ted Cruz, that he did not authorize someone at the FBI to be an anonymous source....

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. In her post, McMath wrote: “Racist dog whistles abound on Jacksonville’s City Council. It was on full display last night (September 9) as the grand wizard who calls himself Rory Diamond attempted to attack every group of people — his constituents — that do not look like him. His MAGA maneuvers are gross and dangerous. Gratitude for the Council people who stood up against this foolishness and walked out… Jim Crow 2.0 in Jax ain’t no lie.”

As the proprietor of a somewhat prolific X account that largely focuses on military matters, many people have been asking me what I think this meeting is all about, as the meeting is currently shrouded in mystery. So what...

“‘As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up; so that whoever believes will in Him have eternal life’” (John 3:14–15). To emphasize for Nicodemus that there was no excuse for him to be ignorant of the way of salvation, Jesus appealed to a familiar incident in the Old Testament (Num. 21:5–9). The event took place during Israel’s forty years of wilderness wandering after leaving Egypt and before entering the Promised Land. As a judgment on the people’s incessant complaining, the Lord sent venomous snakes to infest their camp. In...

Hidden for four years, an after-action report on FBI's involvement in Jan. 6 riot found by Director Patel shows dozens of agents feared that the FBI had become "woke" and "liberally biased." ============================================================= The FBI secretly deployed more than 250 plainclothes agents to the U.S. Capitol during the Jan. 6, 2021 riot, an operation so disorganized it unleashed searing frustrations among many of the FBI's rank-and-file that the bureau had lost its core competencies to "wokeness" and allowed its employees to become “pawns in a political war,” according to an after-action report kept from the public for more than four...

The front line on the battlefield in Ukraine has grown in length to nearly 1,250 kilometers (800 miles), stretching Kyiv’s defenses, while Russian forces employ a new tactic of sending swarms of small assault groups to infiltrate Ukrainian lines, Ukraine’s top military commander says. The line of contact has grown by roughly 200 kilometers (120 miles) over the past year, and Ukrainian forces are averaging between 160 and 190 combat engagements every day with Russia’s bigger army, Gen.
