Governor Gavin Newsom went on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert last night, which was not the most-watched late night show Tuesday that Trump has gotten canceled, or almost canceled. "Cards on the table: You wish you were on Kimmel tonight," Colbert said, opening his interview with Governor Gavin Newsom on the Late Show Tuesday. "I wish I was on Kimmel tonight," he added. This was Newsom's first interview with Colbert since way back during the Colbert Report days, and Colbert's former mock-conservative on-air persona did not take kindly to then-Mayor Gavin Newsom and his liberal ideas. Tuesday's exchange was...

In a bizarre "stand" against President Trump, liberal pregnant women have taken to social media, posting videos of themselves taking Tylenol. This comes after a major announcement on Monday, where the Trump administration said that they will no longer recommend pregnant women take Tylenol, as they believe it may increase the chances of a child being born with autism. Even if the announcement were untrue, why would these mothers risk hurting their children simply to rub it in President Trump's face? It is less of taking a stand, and more of just plain stupidity. This is Michelle Vu, MD. She...

Andrew Kolvet, executive producer of The Charlie Kirk Show and Turning Point USA spokesman, said Jimmy Kimmel’s explanation for why he suggested Charlie Kirk’s assassin may have been part of a “MAGA gang” is “not good enough.” Another of Kirk’s close friends accused the left-wing late-night TV host of spinning the narrative “in typical leftist fashion” to paint himself as a victim. “Not good enough,” Kolvet said in a Tuesday X post. “Jimmy, it’s simple. Here’s what you need to say: ‘I’m sorry for saying the shooter was MAGA. He was not. He was of the left. I apologize to...

Iran has no intention to build nuclear weapons, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian told the U.N. General Assembly on Wednesday, just days before international sanctions could be reimposed on his country over Tehran’s nuclear ambitions. “I hereby declare once more before this assembly that Iran has never sought and will never seek to build a nuclear bomb. We do not seek nuclear weapons,” Pezeshkian said. On August 28, Britain, France and Germany launched a 30-day process to reimpose U.N. sanctions that ends on September 27, accusing Tehran of failing to abide by a 2015 deal with world powers aimed at preventing...

The partially taxpayer-funded Ivanpah Solar Power Facility in California’s Mojave Desert is set to shut down in 2026 due to inefficiency in generating solar energy, according to the New York Post. The $2.2 billion plant, which features three 459-foot towers, was greenlit in 2010 and completed in 2014. According to the New York Post the closure stems from the site being “outpaced by solar photovoltaic technology” and proving both inefficient and costly. The shutter of the site comes more than a decade ahead of its original 2039 end date, according to the Associated Press. Speculation about Ivanpah’s early closure began...

The daughter of Hollywood bigwigs Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner delivered a speech to the United Nations about the importance of mask mandates in preventing the surge of COVID-19 — five years after the disease shut down the world. Video of the incident taken by a witness appears to show Kerri ripping signs and kicking candles placed on the memorial whilst saying Kirk 'lived as he died - promoting violence.' A half-year ago in the Oval Office, President Trump told Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that “you don’t have the cards” in the war with Russia. On Tuesday at the United Nations, Trump lauded the performance of Ukraine’s army and poured scorn on Russia’s military efforts. “I think Ukraine, with the support of the European Union, is in a position to fight and WIN all of Ukraine back in its original form,” Trump said on Truth Social after meeting with Zelensky. “Why not?” U.S. officials said that Trump issued the statement in part to pressure Russian President Vladimir Putin to make...

Law enforcement said that the sniper perched on a roof adjacent to the facility and rained bullets on the migrants as they were being transported in an unmarked ICE van. On Tuesday’s broadcast of CNN International’s “The Brief,” Amnesty International Secretary General Agnes Callamard responded to arguments that Hamas could simply end the war right now if it surrendered and released hostages by saying that “Hamas must release all hostages. They must do that. Humanity must win. But this will not happen as long as the Israeli government keeps playing games on the back of its own Israeli citizens.” …

Explanation: How massive can a normal star be? Estimates made from distance, brightness and standard solar models had given one star in the open cluster Pismis 24 over 200 times the mass of our Sun, making it one of the most massive stars known. This star is the brightest object located in the central cavity near the bottom center of the featured image taken with the Webb Space Telescope in infrared light. For comparison, a rollover image from the Hubble Space Telescope is also featured in visible light. Close inspection of the images, however, has shown that Pismis 24-1 derives...

Archaeologists are excavating an ancient Neolithic site in Turkey that is believed to represent one of the earliest found in the region, potentially even predating the famous site of Göbekli Tepe. The new site, dubbed Mendik Tepe, was discovered in the Eyyübiye area in Şanlıurfa, Turkey, and offers archaeologists an unprecedented look at the early human activities in the region, contrasting in many ways with its famous nearby counterpart, now recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Excavations are currently being led by Professor Douglas Baird of the University of Liverpool, supported by the British Institute of Archaeology and the...
