Jimmy Kimmel may have been relieved of his duties at Jimmy Kimmel Live!, but that doesn't mean he's ready to retire. He's only 57, has bills to pay, and has plenty of good years left. To help him out, The Babylon Bee has come up with the following list of perfect jobs for him: 1. Professional cryer at funerals: No one sheds tears quite like Jimmy. 2. "Before" photo model: Few other people can so perfectly capture that vibe. 3. Purple Teletubby: Nobody will be able to see him cry behind the Tinky Winky mask. 4. Keith Olbermann's shift manager...

The shocking video occurred during the third quarter of a game between Lakeshore and Kalamazoo Central, when a 15-year-old defender for the Lancers got tangled with an opponent. (It's the time slot where people are just up and want to watch something - anything - except, apparently, Jimmy Kimmel's ugly mug.) MARK SIMONE @MarkSimoneNY After pulling Jimmy Kimmel off the air, ABC has been running reruns of Celebrity Family Feud in his time slot and it's getting much bigger ratings. So why bring Kimmel back? Overnight ratings for the September 18, 2025, *Celebrity Family Feud* rerun show 2.8 viewers —easily topping Kimmel's recent averages of about 1.1 million viewers. This marks a roughly 150% lift in total viewership and a 200% jump in the key demo, so why...

As Israel’s ground offensive in Gaza City intensifies, the UN Human Rights Council has once again leveled accusations of genocide against the Jewish state. Their newly released 72-page report, produced by a commission riddled with members already on record as anti-Israel, ignores Hamas’s crimes and skews casualty data to present a distorted narrative. Behind the headlines, the reality on the ground tells a very different story. In this episode of Basic Law, we cut through the noise clouding global discourse on Israel’s war of survival. Host Aylana Meisel is joined by John Spencer, Chair of Urban Warfare Studies at the...

Any time I see a Frederic Bastiat book appear on LibriVox for work and especially when they are completed I am always happy about these. Bastiat has many books already on LV, I would highly recommend them. Bastiat's work is wonderful and his logic in economics is direct and on point. Today's release (about a week ago) is Bastiat's work "Economic Sophisms". The work is described thus: Bastiat speaks with the greatest force to the highest order of intellects. At the same time, he is almost the only Political Economist whose style is brilliant and fascinating, whilst his irresistible logic...

A gunman shouting “Free Palestine” killed one person a country club wedding in New Hampshire, US. The man opened fire as the bride and groom were about to start their first dance on Saturday night, according to witnesses. Two others were wounded. Hunter Nadeau, 23, has been arrested and charged with the murder of 59-year-old Robert Steven DeCesare, police said. “Additional charges likely will be brought, including for the additional shooting victims,” John Formella, attorney general for New Hampshire, said in a statement.

Though he once advised Democrats that "if your opponent brings a knife, you bring a gun," former President Obama asserted that "Trump's extreme policies and rhetoric have poisoned our politics. He wants to shut our country off from the immigrants we need to do the work that Americans won't do. He's mercilessly deporting family men like Abrego Garcia. He wants to punish rather than show compassion toward individuals driven to crime to support themselves in the lackluster economy his policies have inflicted on the middle class. He's firing tens of thousands of long-tenured public servants. These extreme views were not...

Nikki Roth @roth_nikki79371 Two female officers arrive at a family’s home. At first, one might think they were enforcing some form of Sharia law... But no — not this time. They are here for a different reason: to confiscate a young girl’s phone, simply for viewing a post online. This is Britain, 2025. F**** @Keir_Starmer . Initially, I thought the government was recruiting female police officers out of feminist intentions. Now, however, it seems clear: they only need women to police speech. When most ‘crime’ in the UK is speech, women are deemed sufficient. Men? Apparently not necessary to protect...

During an interview Friday night on CNN, Rep. Ilhan Omar said she would "not be judged" for ot honoring the legacy of Charlie Kirk, which she would place into "the dustbin of history." "We should hopefully move on and forget the hate that he spewed every single day," she said. "I am not going to sit here, and be judged for not wanting to honor any legacy this man has left behind, that should be in the dustbin of history."

Hamas has declared victory after Sir Keir Starmer announced that the UK formally recognises Palestine as a state. The Prime Minister announced the decision in a video message on Sunday afternoon at the same time that Canada and Australia also recognised Palestinian statehood. He said: “Let’s be frank. Hamas is a brutal terror organisation. Our call for a genuine two-state solution is the exact opposite of their hateful vision. We are clear this solution is not a reward for Hamas, because it means Hamas can have no future, no role in government, no role in security.” The move means that...

The Philadelphia Flyers and Ed Snider Youth Hockey & Education are heartbroken to learn of the passing of Bernie Parent, a true legend, one of the most famous and beloved players, and most popular figures in the history of the organization and city of Philadelphia. Bernard Marcel Parent was an original Flyer. He delivered the club's two Stanley Cup Championships in 1974 and 1975, both of which culminated in a dominant and flawless performance in the clinching game of each series with a pair of shutout victories and earned him the Conn Smythe Trophy as the Most Valuable Player of...

She knew nothing about him and decided to condemn him in Congress anyway. If Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez plans to run for president in 2028, she’s just made the biggest mistake of her political career. That speech of hers will be written in ink, and it will haunt her for years to come. Why? Because she didn’t know the first thing about Charlie Kirk, and everyone who watched her give that speech knows she’s either ignorant or lying. We know that on the Left, they do not believe in any kind of presumption of innocence when it comes to words. Words are harm. Words...

Pornography consumption may affect judgments on a wide range of sexual and reproductive topics. The present study hypothesized that the consistent images projected in pornography affect sexual scripts related to abortion judgments. National, three-wave longitudinal data gathered from U.S. adults were employed to examine associations between earlier pornography consumption and subsequent support for abortion. The findings suggested that prior pornography consumption may lead to later support for abortion. This study provides additional evidence of pornography's socializing impact, particularly for the older White segment of the population, and adds to knowledge about what environmental factors influence judgments about abortion. Mechanisms that...

India’s Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal reacted to the H-1B visa fee being hiked to $100,000 by US President Donald Trump, saying that the world is “a little afraid of Indian talent” and exhorted Indians working abroad to “come to India, innovate here, design here”. Goyal, who will be leading the Indian delegation in the US for the next round of talks for a trade deal amid tensions over tariffs, made remarks apparently reacting to the $100,000 fee on H-1B visas used mostly by high-skilled Indian workers in the US. The minister also said that “different countries across the...

Teddy Kennedy became the lion of the Senate and of American liberalism. His legislative accomplishments have done much to shape the United States into the form he desired. We will be living with, and taking the measure of, his legacy for a long time to come. Certainly in one respect, Senator Kennedy’s contribution to our public life has been indisputably negative. In the role he played opposing the nomination of Robert Bork to the Supreme Court in 1987, Senator Kennedy was responsible for a willfully false and remarkably coarse attack on Bork. When Ronald Reagan nominated then-D.C. Circuit Judge Bork...
