The far-left radical movement known as Antifa has been getting its own taste of cancel culture. Just look at what happened on Aug. 19 in Brooklyn’s Crown Heights neighborhood. Experts who track domestic terrorism and extremist movements aren’t surprised: Once the face of a grassroots leftwing insurgency, Antifa has lost its spark... But experts warn that could be a dangerous thing, as the vacuum has given way to even more fringe and violent...

...Newsom reposted a clip on X of Trump’s diatribe and responded with a barb of his own: a screenshot of an interaction with Grok, the platform’s built-in AI chatbot, in which Grok was asked, “Do people with dementia repeat false things over and over again?”... ...Newsom’s stinging response comes as he’s infuriated MAGA voters by mimicking Trump’s puerile social media strategy in recent weeks....

The shooter who opened fire in the church of a Minneapolis Catholic School, killing two children, has been identified as Robin Westman, 23. Westman, formerly known as Robert, shot through stained glass windows at the children sitting on the pews inside Annunciation Catholic School's church at about 8.30am local time Wednesday, officials said. He then turned the gun on himself. KARE 11 reported Westman's mother was an employee at the school and that he changed his name to Robin in 2020, when he was 17. Two children aged eight and 10 were killed in the attack and at least 17...

After backlash from both the right and left, and even advice from President Trump following the recent decision to change its logo, Cracker Barrel announced Tuesday evening that it would keep Uncle Herschel along with the barrel, rather than move forward with the minimalist design that was unveiled last week. While it’s a good sign that the restaurant chain listened to customers, those on the right aren’t entirely satisfied. Responding to Cracker Barrel's post on X announcing the latest decision, activist Robby Starbuck, who's made bringing normalcy back to corporate America his mission, wondered if they have any plans to...

While in college back in the mid-1970s, I wrote a short story on AI. I give a little background on the early mini-computers I operated with a photo of the Honeywell H200 I took. I don't have the original short story anymore but I wrote a pretty good summary highligting the major theme. Essentially, a computer operator was given the opportunity to train a computer as it discovers the world and asks questions.

Prophetess Katie Souza’s bio says she was a “career criminal most of her life,” being “convicted of a number of felonies and sent to federal prison to serve almost twelve years” before God saved her nearly twenty years ago. In reality, it should read that she’s still a career criminal, with her crimes no longer being drug possession and gun running, but rather a criminal mishandling of God’s word- certainly a theological felony- demonstrating that the grift never ended. After leaving prison, she wrote a bunch of books and founded Katie Souza Ministries. She now hosts the TV show ‘Healing...

On Monday August 25, 2025 The New York Times published a lengthy piece entitled,“How China Influences Elections in America’s Biggest City” with the subtitle: “The Chinese consulate in Manhattan has mobilized community groups to defeat candidates who don’t fall in line with the authoritarian state.”Though it’s ostensibly a story just on New York City, the reporting is not confined to matters there. Both a Democrat U.S. congresswoman on a sensitive committee and New York’s Democrat Governor get a looking-at. And while Governor Hochul may not be your governor or mine, she clearly has a seat of national influence, and at...

Iceland, a nation celebrated for its natural beauty and progressive policies, has garnered international criticism for a far more sobering reality: the near-eradication of Down syndrome births through prenatal screening and abortion. Since the early 2000s, about 80–85 percent of Icelandic women choose to undergo prenatal testing, and nearly all who receive a positive result for Down syndrome end their pregnancy through abortion. Today, only one or two children with Down syndrome are born in Iceland annually—usually due to testing errors. The Icelandic Ministry of Welfare insists this is not about eradicating a genetic condition, framing the policy as a...

A nation’s scars shape today’s laws. While visiting Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, I was intrigued and surprised by the amount of art and public displays commemorating communism and the Soviet era. These weren’t honorary tributes to “golden times,” but rather pieces honoring those who suffered under the regime; reminders never to forget, and never to return to, those dark times. These displays range from the John Lennon Wall, where young Czechs expressed their discomfort and protested against the Soviet regime, to the Memorial to the Victims of Communism, a striking display of bronze figures progressively melting and disfiguring, representing...

Police believe the gunman then killed himself.

Meanwhile, roughly 45% of California’s registered voters said they were “very” or “somewhat” enthusiastic about the prospect of Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom running for president, while 36% said the same about Harris. “She [Harris]...

VIDEOAs soon as I heard that Taylor Swift had gotten engaged to Travis Kelce I thought that there was a poor shmoe destined to be immortalized as a monster in one or more of her future record albums. My second thought was wondering what was the reaction to this news from Swift's number one fan, the Liberal Pink Hat Lady. I checked and the answer is "gushing teenybopper" despite the fact she is well into her fifties. As you can see, the Liberal Pink Hat Lady is the comedy gift that keeps on giving. The good news for her, is...

House Judiciary Chair Jim Jordan is escalating the U.S.’s war over foreign tech regulations with a hearing next week on “European threats to American free speech and innovation” — with nationalist United Kingdom leader Nigel Farage as a witness. The hearing before the House Judiciary Committee comes in the wake of President Donald Trump threatening punitive tariffs for any countries enforcing tech laws on U.S. companies. Overseas tech laws have become a flashpoint in relations between the U.S. and its allies. Jordan’s hearing specifically targets the U.K.’s Online Safety Act, which went into effect in late July and the European...
