On Monday August 25, 2025 The New York Times published a lengthy piece entitled,“How China Influences Elections in America’s Biggest City” with the subtitle: “The Chinese consulate in Manhattan has mobilized community groups to defeat candidates who don’t fall in line with the authoritarian state.”
Though it’s ostensibly a story just on New York City, the reporting is not confined to matters there. Both a Democrat U.S. congresswoman on a sensitive committee and New York’s Democrat Governor get a looking-at. And while Governor Hochul may not be your governor or mine, she clearly has a seat of national influence, and at least according to the piece, has some very troubling associations with Chairman Xi’s agents of influence, so we’ll review what they had to say about her.
You will be unsurprised to learn that the Chinese communists seem to be cut from the same cloth as progressive Democrats. As you read, it will all sound so familiar: the non-profits, the infiltration into our government offices (remember Dianne Feinstein’s chauffeur?), the dirty money. It’s like a really bad movie we’ve all seen before, but here it’s the kind where the words don’t match the lips, everything’s off, and nothing is what it seems.
We’ve got that sketchy Democrat U.S. congresswoman on a sensitive committee to look at, but let’s start with New York’s Democrat Governor Hochul, she of the most brutal resting b*tch face in the lower 48. (I can say that because I am a woman and equally comfortable saying Bernie Sanders has a resting b*tch face too.)
Last year, a federal indictment accused a former aide to Gov. Kathy Hochul of conspiring with the heads of two Chinese associations, saying their political activities ‘were supervised, directed, and controlled’ by Chinese officials [emphasis added].
As if that weren’t enough, girlfriend brought her face,...

They are regressive like Mao.
China’s overseas operations, including those detailed in this article, are under the control of the International Liaison Department, which was, until recently, run by Liu Jianchao, the Minister of the ILD and a loyalist of Xi. He was recently removed from his position after being charged with attempting to pass his information to Western (likely US) authorities.
As Minister of China’s powerful International Liaison Department, the CCP’s primary foreign intelligence and influence operation arm, Liu held one of the party’s most sensitive positions, personally elevated by Xi Jinping through a series of high-trust roles including overseeing the overseas “fox hunt” operations targeting fugitive officials.
But according to allegations from Chinese dissident sources, Liu’s career imploded when he attempted to defect to Western intelligence agencies with a trove of classified CCP documents. Feeling cornered by attacks from Foreign Minister Wang Yi’s faction over his corruption and “lifestyle problems,” Liu reportedly prepared an insurance package that included a secret research report on manipulating President Trump through his aspirations for the Nobel Peace Prize, details on global United Front operations, and sensitive information about the CCP princelings’ overseas assets.
However, Liu never made it to the handoff - the Ministry of State Security had been monitoring him through one of his female secretaries, who was actually an MSS surveillance asset, leading to his arrest and house detention before he could deliver the intelligence to what sources describe as a “major foreign power,” likely the United States.
From custody, Liu has reportedly claimed he was the victim of a political setup by a rival faction, even alleging his secretary was having an affair with his rival. Still, his case reveals the paranoid surveillance state that exists even at the highest levels of Chinese power.
Espionage and Insurrection , forget the 600,000 Chinese spies

The problem of Chinese theft of US technology is significant, involving a multifaceted campaign that costs the American economy hundreds of billions of dollars annually. Both the FBI and the Five Eyes intelligence alliance have warned that the scale of this theft is unprecedented. According to former FBI Director Christopher Wray, China represents “the greatest long-term threat to our nation’s information and intellectual property, and to our economic vitality”.
Estimates from various sources, including government reports, place the cost of Chinese intellectual property (IP) theft at anywhere from $225 billion to $600 billion per year. “Greatest transfer of wealth”: General Keith Alexander, a former director of the NSA, has referred to China’s technology theft as “the greatest transfer of wealth in human history”.
The theft is not limited to major corporations but extends to small startups, academic institutions, and federal agencies. Industries impacted include aviation, robotics, health care, and agriculture. The FBI has emphasized that the theft has “flesh and blood, kitchen-table consequences” for American jobs and families, not just Wall Street.
China employs a diverse range of methods to illegally or coercively acquire foreign technology:
Economic espionage: Both state-sponsored and private Chinese actors hack US companies and government agencies to steal trade secrets, proprietary information, and personal data.
Forced technology transfer: To access the Chinese market, US companies may be pressured into forming joint ventures with local firms and transferring critical technology as a condition of doing business.
The Chinese government uses “talent recruitment programs,” such as the Thousand Talents Plan, to entice scientists at US universities to illegally or deceptively transfer research and IP to China. US government funds often finance this stolen research.
China benefits from the open nature of the US economy and academic system while maintaining a closed system itself. Chinese law allows the government to compel any Chinese company to provide information it requests.
Chinese entities invest in US companies to gain access to their technology and IP.
Chinese firms reverse-engineer foreign products after obtaining them legally through purchases or trade shows.
The problem stems from China’s political and economic system, which favors acquisition and imitation over indigenous innovation.
China uses stolen technology to build its own “national champions” through government subsidies, which then compete with and harm the US businesses that were originally victimized.

The Chinese Communist Party’s military-civil fusion strategy leverages civilian technologies acquired from the US to enhance its military capabilities. The theft of sensitive information relating to military and national security directly threatens US defense capabilities.
China’s ambition to become the world’s leading superpower is a core driver for its foreign technology acquisition programs, viewing the erosion of the US technological base as a requirement for achieving this goal.

Since the 1890’s how are US “progressives” progressive?
How is the Progressive Income Tax Progressive?
How is Progressive Insurance Progressive?
Progressive sounds good to many Americans and gives one leeway to get away with things not otherwise allowed.
And the President wants to bring in 600,000 as students into the country? Many if not all are hard core communists.
