NEW YORK — In choosing Zohran Mamdani as their candidate for mayor, Democrats in America’s most Jewish city have nominated an outspoken critic of Israel, alarming some in New York’s Jewish community and signaling a sea change in the priorities of one of the party’s most loyal voting groups. The 33-year-old democratic socialist’s surprisingly strong performance against former Gov. Andrew Cuomo makes clear that taking a stance against Israel is no longer disqualifying in a Democratic primary. The state Assembly member has declined to support the right of Israel to exist as a Jewish state, refused to denounce the term...

Explanation: Are these trees growing on Mars? No. Groups of dark brown streaks have been photographed by the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter on melting pinkish sand dunes covered with light frost. The featured image was taken in 2008 April near the North Pole of Mars. At that time, dark sand on the interior of Martian sand dunes became more and more visible as the spring Sun melted the lighter carbon dioxide ice. When occurring near the top of a dune, dark sand may cascade down the dune leaving dark surface streaks -- streaks that might appear at first to be trees...

New York City has not had a Republican mayor since 2007, when Michael Bloomberg left the GOP to finish his remaining time in office as an independent. Republican fortunes in the traditionally left-leaning city could change this year, however, as New York’s Democratic establishment reels from its fractured primary process. Even before competition became fierce among the 11 eventual Democratic contenders, incumbent Mayor Eric Adams dropped out to run for reelection as an independent when early polling showed that he would probably lose the nomination to disgraced former New York governor Andrew Cuomo. Then, on Tuesday, Zohran Mamdani, a 33-year-old...

Gee, thanks. Tough call, George, but you made it. On Sunday's edition of MSNBC's The Weekend, co-founder of the disgraced Lincoln Project co-founder (still wrongly labeled a "Conservative Attorney") George Conway said that we should condemn political violence"even if" Donald Trump is the target. Imagine a MAGA personality—let alone President Trump himself—saying: "We need to condemn political violence even if the target is [fill in the blank with the name of a prominent Democrat.]"

Driven by a desire to help ex-servicemembers with mental illness, GOP lawmakers led a failed campaign last year to persuade the Biden administration to approve psychedelic drugs. Now they may have found the ally they need in President Donald Trump’s health secretary, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. A longtime believer in psychedelics’ potential to help people with illnesses like post-traumatic stress disorder and depression, despite the lack of supportive evidence Biden officials found, Kennedy is ramping up government-run clinical studies and telling the disappointed lawmakers doctors will be prescribing the drugs soon. “These are people who badly need some kind of...

We’re back with another update on Air India 171. In this video, Captain Steeeve breaks down why we still haven’t seen the Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) or Flight Data Recorder (FDR) information publicly released. Sir Keir Starmer has been put on notice of a fresh Labour rebellion over the Government's 'family farm tax'. More than 40 Labour MPs are said to be considering a bid to water down looming changes to agricultural and business inheritance tax relief. It comes after the Prime Minister performed a trio of embarrassing U-turns in recent weeks. Sir Keir has reversed his position on axing the winter fuel payment for millions of pensioners, a national grooming gangs inquiry, and welfare cuts. This has left Labour rebels feeling emboldened that they can force the Government into further policy changes. According...

In a troubling revelation from Vienna, a concerned grandparent, Bernhard K., has exposed a growing crisis in Austria’s kindergartens. During breaks and after-school activities, the children revert to Arabic, leaving his grandson isolated. When asked how the boy copes, Bernhard’s response was shocking: “He’s trying to learn Arabic! How else is he supposed to communicate with his schoolmates?” This is not an isolated incident but a symptom of a broader demographic shift. According to...

The mainstream media and liberals everywhere are likely to fume at the news that DOGE staffer Edward Coristine — also known as “Big Balls” — has been given a new role within the federal government.
