Americans don’t have time for Barrett to spend years figuring out what kind of justice she wants to be. What kind of Supreme Court justice is Amy Coney Barrett going to be?That appeared to be the question a new expose by New York Times hack Jodi Kantor attempted to answer. Published Sunday, the lengthy article features analysis of the Trump appointee’s SCOTUS record thus far, as well as comments from former associates and Court watchers on her jurisprudence and how she approaches legal questions. The goal, as it seems, is to decipher whether the Catholic mother of seven will follow...

@RandPaul Restraint, not escalation. That’s what President Trump has made a priority, and I think that’s the right call. The real question now: will Iran come to the table or double down? No one knows for sure. That’s why we should keep diplomacy in play.

X CEO Linda Yaccarino says the social media giant has the wind at its back again. Buried deep in a mountain, Fordo is where many analysts believe Iran has concealed clandestine efforts to work toward a nuclear weapons capability. There have been no reported Israeli strikes on the Fordo enrichment facility. -snip- "Fordo has always been a major concern because of its location and because of...

If we looked at the Sun during an eclipse through a green filter, this is what it would look like. (ESA/Proba-3/ASPIICS/WOW algorithm) A solar eclipse is a marvel. This quirk of the complex interplay between Earth, the Moon, and the Sun doesn't just remind us of the wonders of the cosmos – it gives us a window into the Sun we rarely get to see. More specifically, with the Moon blotting out the main disk of the Sun, we can see details and features in the solar atmosphere, or corona, that are usually obscured from view. Now, a new satellite...

Explanation: Can you find the Rosette Nebula? The red flowery-looking nebula just above the image center may seem a good choice, but that's not it. The famous Rosette Nebula is really located on the lower right, here colored blue and white, and connected to the other nebulas by gold-colored filaments. Because the featured image of Rosette's field is so wide, and because of its deep red exposure, it seems to contain other flowers. Designated NGC 2237, the center of the Rosette Nebula is populated by the bright blue stars of open cluster NGC 2244, whose winds and energetic light are...

Smith Show,” said the number of legal challenges — and victories — against the Trump administration actually prove American democracy is functioning under his presidency. Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson (D) said Monday on CNN’s “The Situation Room” that President Donald Trump was “trying to eliminate black existence from this country. Johnson said, “Governor Abbott spent over $220 million to ship people across America. Instead of working with Congress to actually pass substantive immigration reform policy. They wanted to create division, but we’re not going to allow that to happen in the city of Chicago. Much like we fought for civil rights 60 years ago, we’re going to continue to make sure that whether you are black, brown, Asian, white, young, old, working people deserve to...
