Has Focus on the Family, the ministry started with the explicit goal of protecting the basic unit of civilization from liberal drift, caught the woke mind virus?

I thought that was fairly standard protestant Christian belief, accept Jesus as your Savior and you are saved

Death does not come from being attracted to someone one should not be attracted to. It comes by :

There’s no such thing as being gay.

It’s a world construct and concept we are under no obligation to accept.

I agree with them. If someone has same-sex attraction, for whatever reason they became disordered, I don’t think it’s a sin unless someone acts on it.

Like a man can have heterosexual attraction but that’s not a sin as long as he doesn’t commit adultery, which can be as subtle as looking at someone with lust.

Or an alcoholic may always struggle with being tempted to get drunk, but as long as he doesn’t, I don’t think he’s committing a sin.

I suspect this is in response to the SPLC (Southern Poverty Law Center) declaring Focus On The Family as a hate organization or similar.

IMHO, they should have just kept their mouth shut.

FOTF went off the rails many years back when Dobson left the organization. I think he created a new website but I haven’t listened to him or anyone from FOTF in quite a while.

Living proudly openly in sin is not the same as sinning and seeking Christ to redeem and change you. Romans 1 is clear on this…at the end specifically.

Advocacy defines the deviance and is characteristic of unbelief. Militancy.

Repentance and faith define the Christian. These begin with God and apply to all manner, causes, and results of sin. The discipline never ceases in this life.

You’re doing the same thing Not The Bee did, leaving off the main point found in 1 Corinthians 6:11

And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

FOF is entirely correct. Everyone, gay and straight has fallen short of the Glory of God and we all get to heaven the same way, through making Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

If they are PROUDLY flying a gay flag to act in supporting homosexuality and other abominations I would say they are in a war with our Creator. I would say - gay is not okay. Gay is also not a Biblical term. To begin the conversation we have to speak to the issues on terms from the Bible.

It avoids half of the needed message. Repent.

There are sins that send you to hell and they need to be addressed. But “repent” is offensive and we don’t want to offend people. especially perverts.
