Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Tuesday described Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as "the greatest threat to regional security" amid rising tensions. Erdogan made the statement during a phone call with Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to discuss the Israel-Iran conflict and other regional issues.
Erdogan said he is intensifying diplomatic efforts to end the spiral of violence triggered by Israeli attacks on Iran.
He also warned against allowing the conflict to spread to Syria and stressed that Israel's actions should not "overshadow the humanitarian crisis and genocide" that Netanyahu's administration has also caused in Gaza.

Turkey used to be one of the few examples I can think of where an Islamic country was not some backwater hell hole. It had a separation of mosque and state . Erdogan ruined that. I still believe he is one of the most dangerous and evil people on Earth.

You must have lived in a different Turkey than I did. Not only is it a hell hole its people are among the most despicable filthy thieves on earth (well at least on par with the French). I have been to pretty much every corner of the earth and the one country I would not revisit for any amount of money is Turkey.

Let me see, Netanyahu has put down the terrorist threats of Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis, and has now severely weakened the state sponsor of those terrorists - Iran, making actual eventual peace more and more possible, and just what that is so good has Erdogan done??? Zip, zilch, zero, nada.

Both Saudis and Turkey are sunni muslims.
So why are they opposite sides in this war?
