Untergang (Downfall, 2004) is a movie about the last days of the Hitler regime, including Hitler's nine-millimeter-and-cyanide honeymoon with Eva Braun.
We are now looking at the final days of Iran's theocracy, which is likely to collapse by the end of the week; one week after Israel began military action.
It is well known from history that, when a country's leaders flee the battlefield, the war is over for them.
At Gaugamela in 331 B.C.E., the massive Persian army collapsed when King Darius turned his chariot to run from Alexander the Great, who was personally trying to kill him.
Once his army saw him flee, it lost its will to fight and that is why so many cities in that region are now named Alexandria or its equivalent, such as Kandahar (formerly Alexandria Arachosia).
It is now being reported that the Iranian leaders whom Israel has not killed are running like rats.
According to the Times of Israel:
Ali Asghar Hejazi — Khamenei’s senior intelligence advisor and a powerful figure within the Islamic Republic’s security apparatus — has entered secret negotiations with Russia to secure an escape route for himself and his family.
He might well not be the only one because Iran's leaders are dying like flies. The survivors know what the Persian people will do to them when the regime finally goes down, namely, what the Italian people did with Benito Mussolini.
Ordinary Iranians are meanwhile fleeing major cities wholesale even though they know or should know that Israel will not aim at noncombatants.

They need to keep him alive to sign the instrument of surrender, else the religious fanatics who follow him will continue the fight.
I’ll bet it’s standing-room-only at the Russian embassy.
“ They need to keep him alive to sign the instrument of surrender, else the religious fanatics who follow him will continue the fight.”
Yes.
But, he can mess it up and make his being alive not being of value b
His choice.
I suggest the above is why Trump left the G-7 meeting early. He knows if the Mullahs/Islamists leave Iran, he will have to deal with the power vacumn. That will be very problematic.
Lol.
True.
Yeah maybe but no it’s possible for someone to flee a battlefield without the army or country collapsing.
In the case of Muslim extremists, they often display cowardice, they often are eliminated, or they hide out, yet they are replaced.
“fleeing major cities wholesale even though they know or should know that Israel will not aim at noncombatants.”
Anyone in Gaza can tell you that.
Popcorn. Need more popcorn.
And bacon.
The only way this ends possibly well is if Iranians hang him from a lamppost. The surrender should be negotiated by a replacement government. Syria might be a good model. Although it was a Turkish and Israeli operation, they installed leaders who seem to be willing to eschew most of the Muslim insanity about killing or subjugating everyone else.
The problem of a replacement government is that Iran is Shia. And Shia seems to produce uncommonly crazy leaders, even by Muslim standards. The other problem is that whoever gets installed has to have the military ability to fend off the Shia crazies who want to take over so they can kill all the Jews. And Israel has destroyed their military capabilities.
Flushing the Ayatoilet. 😏
Dang I thought this was about the downfall of SCOTUS.
Reza Pahlavi has been grooming the last fifty years for this moment.
I don’t likes them ayatoller fellers, not since they messed with our embassy. They needed a good ass-kicking for a long time.

Really? I thought American Thinker was a conservative site?
Hopefully Mossad has those escapes covered. After 45 years of this crap and getting this far now, time for the mullahs in charge to die.

I doubt it. I would not be surprised if this drama is still unfolding this weekend.
