If you have walked the deep political weeds with us, you will likely remember the warnings. [snip] In support of her view that President Trump's newly-announced travel ban on certain countries makes the U.S. less "welcoming," CNN This Morning host Audie Cornish approvingly cited a statement by an official in the regime of socialist Venezuelan dictator Nicholas Maduro. Being in the U.S. is "a big risk for anyone, not just Venezuelans. If you're really that foolish, then go to the United States. They're supremacists who think they own the world and persecute our people for no reason." Chief CNN domestic correspondent Phil Mattingly pitched in to say that in making the US less "welcoming," the travel...

U.S. — As the American people sat back helplessly and watched a once-close relationship fall apart, a judge issued a ruling that President Donald Trump would get the nation on weekdays, while Elon Musk would get it every other weekend and on holidays. The tumultuous split of the previously happy billionaires grabbed headlines this week, culminating in both parties going to court to seek a fair custody agreement of the United States of America. "We got a good deal, though I do believe the nation belongs with me," Trump told reporters after the judge's ruling was announced. "A president is...

President Donald Trump on Thursday lashed out at Elon Musk as their feud rapidly ramped up, calling him “CRAZY” and suggesting that he may terminate the Tesla CEO’s government contracts. Trump in a bitter Truth Social post wrote that Musk was “wearing thin” by the end of his tenure leading the president’s Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE. “I asked him to leave,” Trump claimed. The angry swipe came after Musk blasted the president amid an escalating clash that stemmed from the mega-billionaire’s vocal opposition to Trump’s massive tax-cut bill. President Trump said Thursday that Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky are similar to children fighting on a playground and that more time may be needed before “pulling them apart.” “Sometimes you see two young children fighting like crazy. They hate each other, and they’re fighting in a park, and you try and pull them apart. They don’t want to be pulled,” Trump told reporters while hosting German Chancellor Friedrich Merz in the Oval Office. “Sometimes you’re better off letting them fight for a while and then pulling them apart. And I gave that analogy to Putin...

Ukraine has told Russia’s President Vladimir Putin should “stop whining” about the strategic bombers destroyed in an audacious drone attack and agree to a ceasefire. “In response to the complaints of the Russian dictator, we emphasize that Russia once again confuses cause and consequence, black and white,” Ukraine’s foreign ministry said in a statement published on Thursday. It pointed out that, as the attacked party, Ukraine has the right to defend itself and that “No territorial limitations are imposed on the exercise of this right to self-defense.” It added that, unlike Russia, Ukraine does not target civilians but only legitimate...
