I'm in Orlando for a business meeting, staying at a resort/meeting hotel. I came down from Central NH on a day when the high temperature was 48. It was 97 in Orlando. It's been very nice to be outdoors when it's this warm, even at night. I like it. But the indoor temperature at this hotel, in public areas, restaurants, and corridors is FREEZING. Like 60F, with AC runnning full blast. Is this normal for you all? Does it mess you up to have a 30 degree temp change when you go in and out of doors? Just asking.

Join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for AMERICA: For those in Authority in Government, Family, Military, Business, Agri-Business; End to Sex Slavery; Healthcare, Education, Churches, and the Media. This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. (1 John 5:14) I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. ~ 1 Timothy 2:1-2 Religion Forum Threads labeled [Prayer] are closed to...

Hyperbaric oxygen treatment provides long-term relief for patients suffering from late radiation-induced injuries after treatment of cancer in the lower abdominal area. Five years after hyperbaric oxygen therapy, the positive effects remain. Radiation therapy is a component of many cancer treatments in organs such as the prostate, colon, ovaries and cervix. While tumor cells are destroyed, 5%–10% of patients experience severe side effects due to healthy tissue being affected by the radiation therapy. Symptoms may include urinary incontinence, bleeding and severe pain in the lower abdomen that becomes both physically and socially disabling. These problems can occur several years after...

There can never be a place for racism and hate in France, President Emmanuel Macron said on Sunday after the brutal stabbing to death of a Muslim in a mosque in the south of the country. […] The attacker, who is on the run, stabbed the worshipper dozens of times and then filmed him with a mobile phone while shouting insults at Islam in Friday’s attack in the village of La Grand-Combe in the Gard region. French Prime Minister François Bayrou had already denounced what he described an “Islamophobic atrocity”. The alleged perpetrator sent the video he had filmed with...

Europe’s Next War Won’t Be in Ukraine—It’ll Be in the Streets The European Union is pouring weapons, money, and political capital into Ukraine at an astonishing rate. If you listen to Brussels, it’s all about protecting democracy and stopping aggression at the borders of Europe. But what they won’t tell you—what they can’t afford to admit—is that many are quietly dreading the day the war ends. Because when the war ends, the real trouble begins. The Guns Are Already Here Let’s start with the obvious: Not all the weapons being sent to Ukraine are staying on the battlefield. Despite all...

A white mother from Austin, Texas, was allegedly murdered by a black career criminal — and once again, the propaganda media shrugs their shoulders, while the politicians look the other way. In today’s upside-down America, there’s only outrage when it fits the regime’s narrative. We all know by now that if the races were reversed, this story would be flooding every news channel, with riots raging in the streets. But when a white victim dies at the hands of a violent black criminal, the media does everything it can to bury it — or worse, pretend that it’s an isolated...

Chuck Todd scoffed at the premise that the media failed to adequately cover the decline of former President Joe Biden ahead of the 2024 election. Speaking with Chris Cillizza on his Substack channel Monday, Todd — the former moderator of NBC’s Meet the Press — rejected the idea that media outlets dropped the ball and did not question whether Biden’s cognitive function was sufficient to run the country for another four years. “This is not a media failure,” Todd said. “This was a failure of the Democratic party. And the virtue signaling that some people have done to try to...

WASHINGTON, D.C. – America First Legal (AFL) has filed a bar complaint with the Committee on Professional Standards against New York Attorney General Letitia James. The complaint requests an investigation into allegations outlined in a recent criminal referral from the U.S. Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA), claiming that AG James committed mortgage fraud. On April 14, 2025, FHFA Director William J. Pulte sent a criminal referral to the U.S. Department of Justice alleging that AG James has, in multiple instances, “falsified bank documents and property records to acquire government-backed assistance” as well as “loans and more favorable loan terms.”

The White House is warning that President Donald Trump will veto a bipartisan Senate resolution that would terminate his sweeping global “Liberation Day” tariffs. The statement of administration policy from the Office of Management and Budget, sent to congressional offices Monday, comes ahead of an expected vote this week forced by several Democrats led by Sen. Ron Wyden of Oregon and Republican Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky. “This resolution would undermine the administration’s efforts to address the unusual and extraordinary threats to national security and economic stability, posed by the conditions reflected in the large and persistent annual U.S. goods...

In a nutshell * Scientists successfully 3D printed plant-based calamari rings using mung bean protein and microalgae, creating a seafood alternative that closely matches real squid in texture and even surpasses it in protein content. * The 10% microalgae formulation achieved the best results, producing calamari mimics that were softer, springier, and structurally similar to real calamari, without relying on overfished marine resources. * This innovation highlights a promising future for sustainable seafood alternatives, leveraging underused crops like mung beans and algae to reduce pressure on ocean ecosystems while meeting growing demand for plant-based foods. ******************************************************************************* SINGAPORE — Your next...

In a surprise to us here in Minnesota, our left-wing local media — inspired, or perhaps shamed, by The New York Post — is actually pressing a left-wing county prosecutor for her questionable decision not to charge a six-time Tesla vandal for his politically inspired violence. Mary Moriarty, elected as Minneapolis’ County Attorney in the wake of the George Floyd riots, is a woke prosecutor in the mold of Manhattan’s Alvin Bragg and San Francisco’s ousted Chesa Boudin. State government employee Dylan Adams, 33, was caught on video vandalizing six Teslas in late March, as a nationwide campaign of hate-fueled...

EXCLUSIVE: New York Attorney General Letitia James, who became President Donald Trump's nemesis after accusing him of mortgage fraud, is now battling the very same allegations, and her chief tormentor is a legendary scam artist who says he knows a crook when he sees one. Sam Antar, who kept the books for his cousin, "Crazy Eddie" Antar, while he built a New York-area consumer electronics empire, helped his late relative skim cash and inflate the value of their company before leaving investors high and dry in the late 1980s. He says he knows every trick in the fraud book and...
