Here at PJ Media, we’ve chronicled the woke turn that Disney has taken in recent years. It’s a far cry from the wholesome entertainment that Walt Disney championed, a type of entertainment that held up American and Judeo-Christian values. The company may be moving away from wokeness and back toward its founder’s original vision, albeit in baby steps. Last week, PJ Media’s Catherine Salgado brought us the news that Disney-Pixar chose to cut an LGBTQ storyline from its upcoming series “Win or Lose.” That storyline played out in a single scene that the studio cut from the series. The studio...

President-elect Donald J. Trump’s inauguration may get overshadowed thanks to a long-standing tradition following a current or former president’s death, and left-wing Americans are overjoyed. As The Gateway Pundit reported, former President Jimmy Carter passed away in his Georgia home on Sunday at 100 years old. He had been in hospice care for approximately a year and was surrounded by family when he passed. Because of this, the flags at all federal buildings, grounds, and naval vessels will be flying at half-mast for 30 days according to the flag code. A U.S. flag flying at half-staff shows a nation in...

History has been kind to Jimmy Carter in a way the present never was during his one term as US president. His four years were dogged by economic "stagflation", which began during the term of his predecessor Richard Nixon, and America's stumbles on foreign policy. The surprise 1980 landslide loss to Ronald Reagan was deemed a referendum on Carter's leadership. Voters had daily reminders that their commander in chief was unable to free the dozens of Americans held captive in an embassy in the Iranian capital, Tehran.

Mumbai: The fierce row over Indian immigrants and H-1B visas that’s roiling Donald Trump’s team even before he takes office misses the point and isn’t borne out by data, said Aravind Srinivas, founder of Perplexity AI. Illegal immigration is the real issue, said the IIT graduate who’s worked at DeepMind and OpenAI, and is himself in the US on an H-1B visa. “Clearly, it surprised everybody online and it's not exactly data driven--the claims that the H-1B or Indian immigrants are taking away the jobs of laid-off American tech workers,” he told ET in an interview. “Indians are also being...

The testimony before the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee, American Immigration Council (AIC) estimates that there is an annual cost of $88 billion to deport one million illegal aliens each year. That breaks down to $7 billion for arrests, $66 billion for detentions, $12.6 billion to go through the legal process, and $2.1 billion to transport deportees out of the country. It works out to $88,000 per deportee, but the council claims this is a “highly conservative estimate.” They conclude there is “a total cost of $967.9 billion over the course of more than a decade.” But looking at the per...

President Jimmy Carter has passed away. He was 100 years old. There’s a joke somewhere that perhaps God forgot about the former president for years. He stuck around long enough to cast his ballot in the 2024 election, but he was finally called home yesterday. Carter had the longest post-presidencies in American history. For sure, the liberal media will gush over his disappointing presidency, trying to make the case that Joe Biden might be included. Still, the fact is that both men were booted out of office by voters and without much hesitation. Still, the man lived a remarkable life

PBS, backed by your tax dollars, hosted the leader of a group that compares conservatives to the KKK, and she used the opportunity to demonize President-elect Donald Trump. Then PBS hosted one of her close allies who suggested that America failing to elect Vice President Kamala Harris emboldens misogyny. The two segments make a rather eloquent case against continued public funding for PBS. In late November, PBS reporter Stephanie Sy interviewed Margaret Huang, president and CEO of the Southern Poverty Law Center, about a series of racist text messages under investigation by the FBI. Sy noted that “we have no...
