While the Visigoths and Franks fought for everything they held dear when they were attacked by the Moors, the French of today have already given up the fight for freedom and resigned themselves to a self-inflicted destiny as dhimmis. A long time ago, Charles Martel, uncrowned ruler of the Franks, led his Christian army to victory over the forces of Arab commander Abd al-Rahman al-Ghafiqi at the Battle of Tours (October 10, 732 C.E.). The defeat of the Muslim invaders, especially dreaded for their heavy cavalry, marked a turning point in the long-standing war against the Umayyad Caliphate. After crushing...

Russian authorities have seized more than $100m (£76m) from Google to fund propaganda supporting Vladimir Putin’s war in Ukraine, court documents show. US filings have revealed that bailiffs took the funds from the tech giant’s Russian bank accounts in 2022, tipping its unit in the country into bankruptcy. According to the documents, bankruptcy managers handed the funds to Russian TV channels including the state-owned RT and Tsargrad, a propaganda service that pledged to use the funds to support the Kremlin’s war in Ukraine. Google’s Russian entity declared bankruptcy in 2022, saying the Kremlin had seized funds, but it was unclear...

Sens. Rand Paul and Chuck Grassley are raising concerns that the Transportation Security Administration may be improperly using watchlists and screening procedures to target individuals for their political views. In a letter sent Wednesday to Transportation Security Administrator David P. Pekoske, Mr. Paul cited two examples of concern as he asked for documents related to the agency’s management of passenger watchlists and screening programs. “Among the troubling allegations is the claim that former U.S. Representative Tulsi Gabbard was subjected to heightened surveillance after she was added to the Quiet Skies list following her public criticism of the current administration,” wrote...

Employees at an anti-police nonprofit have been left in a bind after their woke founder allegedly blew hundreds of thousands of dollars on designer clothes and mansions for himself. Brandon D. Anderson, 39, who founded a citizen app intended to replace law enforcement called Raheem AI, is being questioned about $250,000 in suspicious expenses he submitted in 2021 alone, according to the New York Times. But the alleged brazen fraud presented staffers with a dilemma - should they call the police on the founder of their anti-police project? In the end, after being unpaid as Anderson allegedly siphoned away the...

Dear Quentin, My girlfriend and I don’t plan to get legally married nor married in the eyes of the church. We’re simply having a wedding to celebrate our love, but we are not signing any paperwork. I am concerned that my significant other would lose her state health insurance because she doesn’t work. To cut a long story short, I feel terrible that she’s utilizing a program for low-income people, but she has serious mental-health issues that are completely treatable but expensive. I make too much money for her to qualify for medical assistance if we marry, but not enough...

The American media were not always utterly biased. Decades ago, most reporters aimed for objectivity. Unfortunately, in the last fifty years, the media have increasingly become tools of the Democratic Party. In the early 1970’s, the mainstream media worked feverishly to destroy President Richard Nixon and succeeded in forcing him to resign. In the 1980’s, President Ronald Reagan was the subject of constant media harassment. The media seized upon the Iran-Contra story and turned it into another scandal like Watergate. Reagan survived the witch hunt, but it took a toll on his approval ratings, at least in the short term.

The best line of the debate last night was when U.S. Senate Candidate Robert Antonellis turned, looked at his two primary opponents, and said “I think I’m the only Republican up here” running in the race. The debate, moderated by Jeff Kuhner – WRKO’s talk host, writer, and political commentator was held in the iHeart studios and streamed live on WRKO’s Facebook page. Antonellis made his observation after hearing from his to mega-rich opponents, express how they stand on the issues: DEATON and CAIN = ANTI-TRUMP Both John Deaton and Ian Cain – Antonellis’ primary opponents refused to support president...

It’s the flashiest street in the Hamptons – the Rodeo Drive of the East End – where, if you have money to burn, you can light an inferno at Chanel, Gucci, Louis Vuitton or Prada. And, at least until recently, Newtown Lane in East Hampton Village was also the place where you could buy couture cocaine from a Mercedes-driving drug pusher, who would pick you up at a high-end Italian restaurant and take you to a more secluded spot to make the deal. And this was no street drug cut with fentanyl or bath salts. This was the real deal...

WASHINGTON, DC: Former Democratic Congresswoman and presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard confirmed that she continues to be under surveillance by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) under their controversial 'Quiet Skies' program on Sunday, August 25. Boeing employees are “humiliated” after NASA announced that two astronauts who have been stranded on the International Space Station by the company’s troubled Starliner space capsule will have to be rescued by Elon Musk’s upstart rival SpaceX, one worker told The Post. Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams — who went up the ISS in June for what was supposed to be an 8-day mission — will have to wait another six months until a SpaceX Crew Dragon space craft can carry them safely home because their original ride is leaking helium and has problems with its thrusters. The Florida-based staffer...

A funny thing happened at the Democratic National Convention last week. Not only has Kamala Harris stolen Donald Trump’s no-tax-on-tips policy but her party shape-shifted into MAGA Republicans in front of our eyes. Where once they slandered the American flag as racist and sometimes set it on fire, here were Democrats drowning in a sea of Stars and Stripes as Harris took the stage Thursday night. One minute Oprah was stealing Trump’s refrain about “common sense.” The next minute Pete Buttigieg was introducing himself to the crowd by saying: “You might recognize me from Fox News.” Conventiongoers wore camo hats...

SMYTH COUNTY, Va. (WJHL) — The vice chairman of the Smyth County School Board has been arrested on charges of child exploitation, according to the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ).
