Ukrainian forces are pushing further into the Kursk region of Russia, in a cross-border incursion that surprised even American officials, multiple US and Ukrainian officials tell CNN. Ukrainian forces are comprised of a mix of Ukrainian regular and special operations units, unlike previous Ukrainian operations inside Russia that often involved undercover units and local sympathizers. The intention, say US and Ukrainian officials, is multifaceted, in part to disrupt and demoralize Russian forces and in part to divert Russian forces away from other parts of the eastern front. Russia claimed on Thursday to have halted a Ukrainian incursion into its territory,...

Recently I was served a TikTok showing a mom taking her daughters out for ice cream. While we watch the girls enjoy their treats, the mom’s voiceover describes how their homeschool curriculum is preparing them for a life of financial independence. From early childhood, these girls are learning to invest. They are learning about stocks, about compound interest. They are training to be self-made millionaires, the mom proudly concludes, and anyone can do this while homeschooling your kids. Homeschooling is hot right now. Last year the Washington Post reported that homeschooling has increased by over 50 percent since 2017, making...

Special counsel Jack Smith on Thursday requested more time to consider how former President Donald Trump's January 6 case can move forward, after the Supreme Court gave Trump a major victory last month. The Supreme Court ruled that presidents and former presidents are exempt from prosecution when it comes to core presidential actions, and presumptive immunity for other official acts. But the Supreme Court sent the January 6 case back to the lower courts to determine what actions constitute "official" acts. U.S. District Court Judge Tanya Chutkan has ordered both sides of the January 6 case to jointly propose how...

Borrell said he had spoken with Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide by phone after Israel's decision and said the European Union stood in "full solidarity" with Oslo. "Upon my instructions, the Head of the EU Delegation in Tel Aviv has conveyed our position to the Israeli Government," Borrell said in a statement.

Cronyism, corporate welfare, and incompetence surges under Democrats. First it was Pete Buttigieg and the mere seven electric vehicle charging stations his agency built for the American public after three years and nearly eight billion dollars, and now it’s Kamala Harris and her “small” batch of solar panels for Puerto Rico, after two years and one billion dollars earmarked for the job. Here are the details, from Thomas Catenacci at The Washington Free Beacon: The Biden-Harris administration has, for years, vowed to deploy thousands of solar panels to stabilize Puerto Rico’s power grid amid regular blackouts, government mismanagement, and ever-increasing...

Confidential sources inside the State Capitol confirm to the Globe that California State Senator Marie Alvarado-Gil is leaving the Democrat Party and switching her party affiliation to Republican. Alvarado-Gil has been a very interesting lawmaker to watch in committees and on the Senate Floor. She’s not been afraid to confront progressives in her party on important issues like education and crime – issues which leave voters in the state questioning how Democrats can be so tone deaf to the state’s failing schools and escalating crime issues. In 2023, Senate Bill 832, by Senator Brian Jones (R-San Diego)to help prevent the...

As Acting Secretary of Labor, Julie Su has a very big eraser and she just used it wipe out her own $32.6 billion dollar mistake. While she was California’s Secretary of Labor, Su oversaw the California Employment Development Department – the EDD – which lost more than $40 billion during the pandemic to homegrown and international fraudsters. But Su recently forgave $32.6 billion of that debt. How? Because the state owed it to her federal department. In other words, Su did not even have to borrow from Peter to pay Paul – she just made sure she went from being...

Democrat Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) has doubts Vice President Kamala Harris can win Pennsylvania in November, predicting former President Donald Trump has always had it in the bag. Since announcing his run for the 2024 presidential election, Trump has maintained the advantage in Pennsylvania, while President Joe Biden and now-Democratic nominee Kamala Harris have struggled to remain above water in the state. Fetterman argued that Trump would secure the Keystone state's vote, regardless of whether the nominee was Biden, Harris, or another Democrat—and polls agree. “I think if you match up Trump and Harris… and I do believe he’s going...

WASHINGTON (TND) — MSNBC’s Joy Reid argued Tuesday that Sen. Mark Kelly, D-Ariz., was the “safest” running mate pick for Vice President Kamala Harris partly because he is White like a “mayonnaise sandwich on Wonder bread.”“He to me would’ve been the safest, most conventionally safe pick,” Reid said in a TikTok video. “White, super White like ... mayonnaise sandwich on Wonder bread white.”

Special Counsel David Weiss appears to have finally made the long-awaited case exposing years of concealment and political corruption. No, it is not the case against Hunter Biden. The allegations of tax fraud in California are obvious and unavoidable. Weiss just made the case against the Justice Department and himself in protecting Hunter Biden from the most damaging charges of being an unregistered foreign agent. In a new filing, Weiss released evidence on Hunter seeking money to advance the interests of a Romanian on United States policy. I have previously testified on the Foreign Agents Registration Act and have previously...

Former Trump administration communications director Anthony Scaramucci said Thursday on MSNBC’s “Deadline” that former President Donald Trump calling Vice President Kamala Harris dumb is a “sign of his racism.” Discussing Trump’s news conference at Mar-a-Lago, Scaramucci said, “If he starts saying his crowds are bigger than Taylor Swift’s, then you know we’re in real psychotic territory.” He continued, “I know him very well. He’s very upset. He spent the last couple of days socializing ideas about campaign changes and strategy, which is why he’s not moving around the country. He then went to his staff and said, let me show...

The federal government has backed up California state regulators in ordering the company that bottles Arrowhead water to stop drawing from the San Bernardino Mountains. Though BlueTriton Brands draws from springs in the mountains that have been used for bottled water since 1906, environmental activists have claimed the removal of that water is harming wildlife, particularly Strawberry Creek. About a year ago, California’s Water Resources Control Board ordered BlueTriton to stop using the water, which flows through public lands like the San Bernardino National Forest.

This week brings us another new batch of damning articles from the pro-Ukrainian Western media. The most telling of these comes from German Die Welt, which exposes how nearly all NATO ‘insiders’ secretly whisper among themselves that Ukraine stands no chance, but they dare not say so in public: https://www.welt.de/politik/ausland/plus252746254/Russlands-Krieg-Die-duestere-Ukraine-Realitaet-ueber-die-Nato-Insider-nur-anonym-sprechen-wollen.htmlIn Brussels, no one expected that Ukraine will win their lost territories back. Only no one wants to talk about it – at least officially. Die Welt has spoken with a number of insiders that give reasons for their gloomy outlook with one of Europe's self-inflicted fact.Excuse the slightly wonky autotranslation,...

Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R) has issued an executive order to require all votes for the upcoming November election be cast with a paper ballot. Executive Order 35, signed on Wednesday, codifies the election security procedures put into place during Youngkin’s administration. The order outlines several election integrity requirements, including a “documented chain of custody” wherein ballots will be tracked through “every step of the process,” and that no voting machines will be used — just paper ballot-counting machines that are not connected to the internet. EO 35 also instructs the state’s Department of Elections to remove “non-citizens who may...

It appears that Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz has been caught red-handed. Amid growing evidence that Walz has lied about aspects of his military service, an act known as stolen valor, the Harris campaign has scrubbed claims that Walz had served as a “retired command sergeant major” from their campaign website. The Kamala Harris campaign scrubbed his bio page and replaced it with another bio. Here is the link to the original claims made by the Kamala-Walz campaign. This was another example of Stolen Valor – Walz was not a retired Command Sergeant Major. And here is the language on the...

Vice President Kamala Harris has gone 18 days without holding a formal press conference since becoming the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee as of Thursday. "It's been 18 days and Kamala Harris is still not taking questions from the media or voters. Regardless of who you support, a terrible precedent has been set," Rep. Kevin Kiley, R-Calif., posted on X. Harris became essentially the de facto nominee after President Biden endorsed her on July 21 when he dropped out of the race and she officially clinched the nomination last week. She has been busy on the campaign trail, spoken at various...
