Begich, a firm opponent of ranked choice voting, has said that if he finishes behind Dahlstrom in the race, he will drop out in order to consolidate support behind her. Dahlstrom hasn’t made a similar promise.

Our people are dumb enough to get Murkowski reelected. At least we got the governors office in case she croaks like Stevens did in the plane crash. Women live longer.
Perhaps Sarah should have taken on Murkowski like she did the other one. Other strong gop contenders-probably none to dilute the vote.
All a party has to do to win a ranked choice election is run only one candidate themselves but enter five or six false flag candidates in the other party to split their vote.
This is exactly what I have told people. The only way to win is for the big parties to only put 1 candidate forward and support the candidate. Exactly like what was done before.
But now we have the jungle primary where despicable people can purposely get together and eliminate the choice of people with other ideas on how to do things. It’s bully tactics, it’s leftist mobacracy.

Agreed but it’s a lot easier for a Democrat to pose as a Republican than vice versa. Republicans are the “Big Tent” party. For example, they’ll allow pro-abortionists, gun control fanatics and foreign interventionalists into the party. Democrats are a lot more exclusive (purists), which is why it’s a lot harder for a Republican to infiltrate their party.
Ranked Choice Voting favors Democrats, RINOs and moderates. Conservatives are considered too extreme.
Went down and voted for Begich, cronk, and another repub. You could only vote for one each. The rank choice vote is this fall.
Bit confused. The Green Pages show it as a jungle primary. Are they wrong?
