Republican Vice Presidential nominee JD Vance speaks to the media outside of Park Diner in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

Thousands of social media users have threatened to boycott the nascent Paris Olympics after its opening ceremony was widely panned on Friday. Enraged viewers took to X where #boycottOlympics and #boycottParis2024 were seen trending over the course of the following day. In particular, the appearance of a 'naked blue man' among a scene likened to the Last Supper angered many watching, especially Christians. One wrote: 'What a disgraceful opening to the 2024 Olympics #BoycottOlympics.' Another declared they 'didn't even care about the Olympics' but were now '100 per cent boycotting'. 'Why on earth would anyone push so much to offend...

Vice presidential hopeful Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) acknowledged the white supremacist attacks against his wife, Usha Vance, who is a child of Indian immigrants.Usha Vance has faced a slew of far-right attacks targeting her Indian heritage following her husband’s nomination to the Republican ticket. “Who is this guy, really? Do we really expect that the guy who has an Indian wife and named their kid Vivek is going to support white identity?” prominent white supremacist Nick Fuentes said of Vance after former President Trump announced his running mate. Fuentes was invited to Mar-a-Lago by Trump in November 2022, stirring a...

An Irish citizen has been moved out of his home by gardaí after receiving death threats from far-right agitators, the Irish Mail on Sunday has learned. Last week, a video was filmed outside Andre Buchanan’s apartment, featuring a bullet and the sound of a gun. This week, Mr Buchanan – a musician who moved to Ireland from Jamaica when he was just nine years old – received a bomb threat on his car. He also featured in a video posted to TikTok by a man who gave his new location away and told his followers he needs to be ‘removed’....

Companies in Australia are being warned they shouldn’t play down climate risks. For once I agree with the green regulators. Warning to Aussie firms on mandatory climate reporting By Marion Rae Updated July 26 2024 – 11:16AM, first published 11:12AM Almost one in five of Australia’s top 200 companies are providing very little reporting on their climate risks ahead of the implementation of mandatory disclosure. The Australian Council of Superannuation Investors report released on Friday found the majority of ASX200 members have net-zero commitments and most have also set interim targets, which helps investors to gauge the credibility of a...

The opening ceremony of the Paris Olympic Games is only the latest in a long series of vile attacks on God, the Catholic Religion and natural Morality by the antichristic elite that holds Western countries hostage. We had seen no less disconcerting scenes at the 2012 London Olympics, the 2016 inauguration of the Gotthard Tunnel, and the 2022 Commonwealth Games, featuring infernal figures, goats, and terrifying animals. The elite who organizes these ceremonies demand not only the right to blasphemy and the obscene display of the foulest vices, but even their mute acceptance by Catholics and decent people, who are...

Donald Trump and JD Vance are cobbling together a core constituency that includes millions of voters who are both culturally conservative and financially hard-pressed. Trump’s selection of Vance reflects his determination to focus on incorporating middle- and lower-income, predominantly but not exclusively white men and women who often did not graduate from college, into the base of the Republican Party. To do so, Trump and Vance are taking their side on matters ranging from diversity to abortion to immigration to trade policy, promising protection from pretty much everything they don’t like about America today. The 2024 Republican Platform provides evidence...

Former lawmaker Delsa Solórzano, representative of the opposition’s Unitary Platform coalition, says authorities have blocked her entrance to the National Electoral Council despite her accreditation. They have also blocked two other representatives of the coalition. “We insist that it is not the same to make a complaint face to face as making it in a WhatsApp message or an email,” said the longtime politician known for her defense of human rights and imprisoned political leaders. “They don’t give a reason for this situation.”

Three recent papers authored by Ted Schuur, Regents' professor of biological sciences at Northern Arizona University, and other researchers around the world, organized through the Permafrost Carbon Network, investigate the biological processes taking place in the warming Arctic tundra and provide insight into what we can expect from that region as the climate continues to change. The world's most northern ecosystems, including the northern circumpolar permafrost region, are an important storage reservoir of organic carbon. Although this region, which includes the tundra and much of the boreal forest, contains only 15% of Earth's soil area, it stores around one-third of...

U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said during a speech in Belem, Brazil, on Saturday that the price tag for a global transition to a low-carbon economy amounts to $78 trillion in financing through 2050. Yellen said that in order to achieve the goal of net-zero global carbon emissions, there would need to be $3 trillion globally in annual financing for the cause, which she said is a top priority for the Biden administration, according to the speech. In order to contribute to this, Yellen vowed to finance green initiatives in developing countries through multilateral development banks and develop “clean energy...

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin promised to “mirror measures” if the United States follows through on plans to station longer-range and hypersonic missiles in Germany — claiming the move would free Russia from a moratorium on deploying its own long-range, lethal weapons. Speaking Sunday at a naval parade in St. Petersburg, Putin said Russia may deploy the missiles in response to a US announcement earlier this month that it would affirm its commitment to NATO — and the defense of Europe — by installing its weapons in Germany, starting in 2026.

Excellent Scripture based teaching videos based on prophecy. Robert Breaker presents his videos in an easy to follow format using timelines and charts.

A manipulated video that mimics the voice of Vice President Kamala Harris saying things she did not say is raising concerns about the power of artificial intelligence to mislead with Election Day about three months away. The video gained attention after tech billionaire Elon Musk shared it on his social media platform X on Friday evening without explicitly noting it was originally released as parody. The video uses many of the same visuals as a real ad that Harris, the likely Democratic president nominee, released last week launching her campaign. But the video swaps out the voice-over audio with another...

Google has done stuff like this before -- whether the Google illustration willfully ignores holidays like Easter or celebrating Rachel Carson (who prompted a ban on DDT that's cost tens of millions of Africans their lives), or prioritizes the World Cup over Flag Day. There was a time the Left hated big corporations. That lasted precisely until the moment the Left realized they could align with big corporations to circumvent the pesky Constitution and use corporations to consolidate political power. Which is why Google can do things like this: lol Google pic.twitter.com/6CYXybecz7 — John LeFevre (@JohnLeFevre) July 28, 2024 This...
