1 Timothy 2:1-2 I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.

Isaiah 55:6-11 “Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.

Father, We thank You for Your word, which is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. Thank You that You send Your word out with intent to accomplish what You have planned.

We don't understand much of what's happening today as we don't see the spiritual realm very clearly, but we are seeing the outworking of that in out world today with the increase in debauchery and perversion, violence, and injustice. However we do know that it is fought in the spiritual realm through prayer and obedience to You.

Lord, Please use us in spreading Your word. Give us the words to say to those we meet to help bring them to a knowledge of You. Give us hearts to stay consistent and faithful in prayer, praying for those things You have clearly commanded us to pray for.

So we pray for the leaders in our country that You would work in their lives to turn their hearts so You, as improbable as it seems. Bring them to a place of repentance and salvation.

Protect us from our enemies both those who clearly are, and those in our government who are not supposed to be.

Again, thank You for protecting and sparing President Trump. Please let the full truth come out about that incident.

Even so come quickly Lord Jesus. Amen.

Asking For Divine Intervention

O God, our Father, You are all that man’s soul, mind and spirit could possibly desire. Our problem is not in believing in You. Our problem seems to be in believing that you condescend to hear and help us. Our problem is that we do not believe we are worthy of asking Divine intervention in our puny problems of life and living. Help us to see You as Jesus would have us see and pray as He taught us to pray, saying, “Our Father …” To see You as “our Father”, full of love and compas­sion, will cause our faith to mount and our hopes to rise. Our Father, Who art in heaven, we love You.

Father God , I bring to You the country of Venezuela tonight. Many believers and conservatives are crying for change. They won the election tonight but the opposition is fighting and seemingly winning with fraud and force.

Lord God if You see fit to have mercy on that part of the country tonight, bring freedom once again to them..

OH GOD, in wrath , remember mercy!

Be with Israel as they are at war in Lebanon! Show Your mighty power against the enemy....
