Furious protestors screaming “close the border” heckled Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rep. Jerry Nadler and other Democrats Friday during a Midtown a press conference on the Big Apple’s escalating migrant crisis. The New York pols were drowned out by the angry screams as they tried to talk outside the Roosevelt Hotel mega shelter Friday morning. “Send them back,” Jonathan Rinaldi, a Queens City Council candidate and serial sperm donor, shouted as the chaotic scenes unfolded outside the city’s main migrant intake site. “Close the border, close the border. Respect the constitution AOC. I am your constituent,” a male protestor cried out....

"When I look... at the subtle but intense influence of China on Canadian institutions — parliaments, provincial governments, local governments, universities, the intellectual community, the policy community — it makes me deadly worried," said Australian professor Clive Hamilton, author of Hidden Hand: Exposing How the Chinese Communist Party is Reshaping the World (co-authored by Mareike Ohlberg), speaking to Canada's National Post in 2019. "I've met some very well-informed Canadians who aren't sure Canada will be able to extricate itself from this situation."

The 22-year-old hunter's wrestling match with the colossal python was captured on camera, showcasing the bravery and determination of the young man. Robert F. Kennedy Jr.: One of the things that I’ve tried to do in this campaign is to identify innovative, common sense solutions to some of these apparently intractable problems that keep the political parties at each other’s throats. So tonight I want to describe a win-win win policy that could solve two of the principal issues that are keeping the political parties apart. One of those issues is the wave of illegal immigration that is currently coming across the border. The other issue has to do with the integrity of our electoral process and the guarantee that every...

Of course, there’s immediate cause for suspicion and heightened skepticism when high-resolution and infrared video footage, focused right on a high-profile conservative firebrand, from a blacked-out theater, emerges almost simultaneously with the scandal.###One user in the comments offered some alleged insight into how internal surveillance typically works, especially if the device was a dome camera, stating this:The theater cameras are programmed to keep moving. They are supposed to scan for someone intending to do harm to the theater goers. This one was pointed at her for several minutes. Either whoever was watching the cameras was getting his rocks off watching...

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that House Republicans were in the middle of a “civil war.” Anchor Jonathan Karl said, “You have Kevin McCarthy launching this impeachment inquiry, and he did it just days after saying he would launch an impeachment inquiry without a full vote of the House. He did it anyway. What is going on here?”

The war in Ukraine is one of relentless attrition. While territory usually only changes hands extremely slowly, munitions and equipment and destroyed and consumed at prodigious rates in a fires-dominated slugging match. In that kind of struggle, the endurance of a military may owe a lot to the pipeline of replacement equipment that supports it. For Ukraine, that largely means looking into the details of foreign equipment provision and some Ukrainian domestic production. But for Russia, without as many allies to call on, one of the key factors is probably defence industrial output, a topic which is widely contested in...

NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg warned Sunday that the West must make preparations for a “long war in Ukraine,” and declaring that there is “no doubt” Ukraine will eventually join the American-led military alliance. In an interview with the German Funke media group, the Norwegian politician threw cold water on the notion of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine coming to an end any time soon. “Most wars last longer than expected when they first begin,” Stoltenberg said per France24. “Therefore we must prepare ourselves for a long war in Ukraine.”

There was an era when Hollywood celebrities and film creators were treated as a kind of modern royalty, a representation of the heights to which the average person could strive and “make it big.” The glitz and the glamour were viewed as the culmination of the American dream. But as with all fantasies, the story must end and reality must return. Was the movie business always a farce? Yes. However, it was a farce that the public held up even in the worst of times as something of value; something more that frivolity. In the spans of around 7 years Hollywood...

VIDEOThe last time we went to the casino a couple of weeks ago, Lady Luck blessed my wife with net winnings of almost $400. This time it wasn't that much but at $230 net (after deducting our original $20 and the final $20 when we stopped cold turkey) it wasn't nothing to sneeze at. As I mentioned in this video that amount would pay (using GroupOn) for three the Brazilian Steakhouse dinners for both of us. The big secret of WINNING is to RESPECT Lady Luck by QUITTING when ahead. By doing this Lady Luck continually blesses my wife and,...

I will firstly admit that I am the opposite of Tech Savvy. I resisted moving on from my WebTV gadget to my laptop computer for years. I only stopped, when customer service at Best Buy didn't even know what WebTV was and had to Tweet their managers or their Dads. That being said, I have noticed some difficulty getting FreeRepublic to show up on my cell phone (or Android). It first happened last Wednesday. I would press the button in my Favorites for FreeRep, but I would be lead to my last search page on Google, often about topics having...

Call Bidenomics a new name: The Biden Blitzkrieg Bop since the administration launched a blitzkrieg attack on America’s middle class and low wage workers through bad energy policies and soaring inflation. Economists have practically sounded the all-clear on a looming recession, but plenty of signs are still flashing red. Clearly, economists were wrong earlier this year when they forecast an economic contraction that has yet to manifest. Could they be wrong now? To be sure, economic growth, the labor market and consumer spending have proven unexpectedly resilient in the face of rising interest rates and elevated inflation. But there are...

A new review of methods to increase chances of successful conception suggests that timed intercourse using urine ovulation tests probably improves live birth and pregnancy rates in women under 40 who had been trying to conceive for less than 12 months, compared to intercourse without ovulation prediction. The review included seven randomized controlled trials involving 2,464 women or couples who had been trying to conceive. Each month there is a narrow window for successful conception due to the limited lifespan of the sperm and egg, which begins from around five days before ovulation (egg release) and lasts until several hours...

Wild woman Rep. Lauren Boebert squeezed in a quick groping session between vaping and loudly singing during her already-infamous “Beetlejuice” viewing — later blaming her inappropriate behavior on her ongoing divorce. Security footage from Denver’s Buell Theatre Sunday shows the 36-year-old Colorado Republican reaching down for her date’s crotch shortly after blowing a plume of vaporized smoke into the air, which she initially denied doing. When her date — Democratic Aspen [gay] bar owner Quinn Gallagher, 46 — in turn appeared to fondle her breast, the congresswoman aggressively grabbed his hand to keep it there. The heavy petting was just...

It's believed to be a first — and it certainly came as a surprise: Ancient Roman coins have been found in the ruins of a castle in Okinawa, Japan, that dates to the 12th and 15th centuries. The copper coins were found in 2013; X-ray analysis shows that they bear an image of Constantine the Great. The four Roman coins were found at the Katsuren Castle — a World Heritage Site in Japan's southwestern city of Uruma. The excavation was carried out by the local board of education, which says the find hints at the region's wide trade ties.
