Another day, another example of Disney’s substituting a political message for creativity. This example is from The Daily Mail, which puts a bit more meat on the bone regarding the already controversial live-action remake of “Snow White and the 7 Dwarves.”The earlier controversy stems from Disney’s self-conscious hire of a Latina actress to play Snow White–an example of the fact that race-swapping is perfectly acceptable when doing so displaces a White actor, but “cultural appropriation” when a White actor plays a non-White character.I found the earlier controversy to be an example of the tedious character of these racial debates because sometimes...

The woke agenda against White people is boiling down to peculiar and ridiculous statements. It appears that another liberal agenda is now to accept Black people and other minorities to start “taking things” from White people. However, for obvious reasons, the vast majority of Twitter users, regardless of race, are vehemently disagreeing with this rhetoric. This peculiar opinion piece is on Yahoo news, ironically, Yahoo has a White man as their CEO. According to Yahoo, to summarize, the opinion piece claims that White people have taken things from Black people. However, this piece states that it is time for Black...

After considerable grief(!) I have my new (refurbished) Dell Precision Tower 3420 just about ready to take over as my "main" desktop PC. The NVME M.2 drive is back to being the boot & programs drive (see note on using Acronis cloning software below), a 500 GB Crucial MX500 SSD is installed as the data drive (but also has Win10 Pro and a few other programs on it as an immediate fallback should the primary drive fail), and I've copied all my data files from my old HP Win 7 Pro machine onto a 240 GB SDD (actually the original...

OPINION: Perhaps the best way to counter the opposition to affirmative action, reparations and every Black movement for justice and equality is to culturally appropriate America's tradition of state-sponsored strong-arming.Editor’s note: The following article is an op-ed, and the views expressed are the author’s own. What is the opposite of backlash? On Friday, Tulsa County Oklahoma District Court judge Caroline Wall dismissed the lawsuit filed by survivors of the Tulsa Race Massacre seeking compensatory justice for the 1921 destruction of the once-thriving Black business district known as Greenwood. The dismissal follows the Supreme Court decision that effectively erased race-based considerations in...

This was quite an eye-opening article here. Germany’s biggest companies are ditching the fatherland. Chemical giant BASF has been a pillar of German business for more than 150 years, underpinning the country’s industrial rise with a steady stream of innovation that helped make “Made in Germany” the envy of the world. But its latest moonshot — a $10 billion investment in a state-of-the-art complex the company claims will be the gold standard for sustainable production — isn’t going up in Germany. Instead, it’s being erected 9,000 kilometers away in China. I’m not sure that I’d be betting the farm on...

Joe Biden nibbles on child in Finland. (Screenshot credit: Newsmax) Joe Biden had a lot of embarrassing moments during his trip to Europe that included the NATO Summit and being led around by other world leaders. We wrote about some of those moments, including when he got Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s name wrong and snapped at two different reporters on two different occasions—even on his last stop in Finland. He also almost tripped on the airplane stairs again as he was leaving Finland, despite the fact that he was using the short stairs with fewer steps. But then we might...

British pro-life advocates say York Minster Cathedral banned them from worship services last week while allowing another group of protesters carrying climate change posters to attend. Leaders of the pro-life Christian group “Where’s Welby?” said they went to the cathedral on July 9 as part of their effort to urge Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby to speak out against killing unborn babies in abortions, according to the group’s Twitter page. However, the pro-life leaders said York Minster police, who provide security specifically for the cathedral, told them that they were not welcome. “‘Where’s Welby?’ are in York, but we aren’t...

Concordia Seminary is the affiliated seminary of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod in two locations St. Louis, Missouri and Fort Wayne, Indiana. Like other denominations, the LCMS is not immune to wokeness. However they are reticent to stand up against wokeness and eager to crack down on young Lutherans who oppose the liberal drift in their denomination. As with liberal drift historically, seminaries are often where they start. A former professor of Concordia Seminary write an article on their blog titled “The Future of the Missouri Synod” which reads like an establishment Republicans strategy from 2013. The current Synodical demographics...

We now find ourselves in a battle for the minds of our children within the walls of our own homes. This is a battle we cannot lose. The children’s book publishing industry — from authors to publishers to librarians — believes it should have the power to control your children’s minds. And it’s progressively gained that access. Authors must include instant positive acceptance of any woke social agenda portrayed in their stories. If they don’t include this, they won’t get published by medium and large houses. This normalization of leftist ideology looks like the real world in books. When kids...

Firearm owners should avoid travel to Massachusetts and consider moving if they already live there, according to a gun rights organization concerned about a gun control bill making its way through the state legislature. "If Massachusetts makes House Docket 4420 law, Massachusetts will become the most anti-gun state in the country," Austin Hein, the director of political operations for the National Association for Gun Rights, told Fox News. "What Massachusetts is clearly trying to do here is basically repeal the Second Amendment as we know it," he added. The 140-page omnibus bill, An Act of Modernizing Firearm Laws, makes sweeping...

Just half a percentage point separates the two, with other candidates close behind. Ron DeSantis continues to find the Granite State to be challenging terrain, with a new survey showing him in a statistical tie for second place in the GOP presidential primary race with Chris Christie. Tim Scott (6.9%) and Vivek Ramaswamy (5.3%), followed by Mike Pence, Nikki Haley, and Doug Burgum, all below 5%. While rounding brings...

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s exasperated complaint about the slow pace of an invitation for his country to join NATO, delivered as the annual NATO summit began in Vilnius, Lithuania, may have actually moved the process backward by alienating the United States and allied leaders, the Washington Post claimed this week, citing unnamed sources. Zelensky on Tuesday called it “unprecedented and absurd” for NATO to speak vaguely about inviting Ukraine to join without setting a time frame and to add “conditions” by demanding political reforms not demanded of the two newest alliance members, Finland and Sweden.

NEW: Tucker Carlson calls out RINO Republican presidential candidate Asa Hutchinson to his face for supporting gender transitioning children. Tucker is putting everyone on blast 🔥 "These are children who are being altered permanently and you can defend that change if you'd like, but there is no debate about whether or not it's permanent." "You said that children should be able to choose their gender and their parents should be able to affirm that and the state has no role in getting involved... You're saying that a child shouldn't be able to choose a bathroom but can choose his sex?"...
