Gun group tells residents to consider moving from blue state after lawmaker proposes gun control bill

Firearm owners should avoid travel to Massachusetts and consider moving if they already live there, according to a gun rights organization concerned about a gun control bill making its way through the state legislature.

"If Massachusetts makes House Docket 4420 law, Massachusetts will become the most anti-gun state in the country," Austin Hein, the director of political operations for the National Association for Gun Rights, told Fox News.

"What Massachusetts is clearly trying to do here is basically repeal the Second Amendment as we know it," he added.

The 140-page omnibus bill, An Act of Modernizing Firearm Laws, makes sweeping changes to Massachusetts gun laws. This includes mandating that all firearms and feeding devices be registered, banning people under 21 from buying or carrying a semi-automatic shotgun or rifle, banning concealed carry of firearms on private property unless expressly permitted and much more.

Minnesota tried to ban under 21 from owning pistols. SCOTUS slapped them down. This law is doa at SCOTUS but it won’t stop the massholes.

It’s past time for SCOTUS to totally wipe the gun laws of Massachusetts and a few other states (CT, RI, NY, NJ) in the general area. The second amendment means something and it’s high time that was made known to those states.

The 2nd. Amendment comes to mind.

So what? The President doesn't respect the Constitution. He ignores the Supreme Court.

Fill out most of a registration form, go to a gun shop with a friend, ask to see a gun, write down the serial number and other gun information on the registration form, have the friend mail the form, when the friend returns, hand the gun back to the dealer.

Repeat, often.

I suspect it will be upheld by the courts.

Well to be sure I think it is a great place. . . to drop off 1,000 illegals a day with squirt guns that look like the real thing.

“A free people ought not only to be armed, but disciplined; to which end a uniform and well-digested plan is requisite; and their safety and interest require that they should promote such manufactories as tend to render them independent on others for essential, particularly for military, supplies.”

John Adams, speech to U.S. Congress in 1790. I visited his homes (where he grew up and also Peacefield) in Quincy back in May.

Wipe the legislatures.

“The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated,...”

Gun registration violates Amendment IV - it has the primary purpose of confiscation in violation of Amendment II.

“No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same...”

Amendment XIV, Section 3 states what should happen to government officials who rebel against our Constitution (and its Bill of Rights).

These gun rights groups basically keep saying that the 2nd amendment gives us gun rights when they talk about the commies wanting to repeal it. They need to stop going along with the commies on that inference.

2A is a statement to the government that our God given right to self defense against criminals AND a totalitarian government cannot be infringed. It is not a right “given” to us by other men. It is a natural right and cannot be infringed unless we meekly allow it to be taken. Those rights do not cease to exist if 2A is ignored or repealed. And that point should always be the rebuttal to anything the gun grabbers say.
