Earlier this week, Russia’s CNews reported on what it terms an “anti-sanction PC”. This new PC, called the Mobile Inform Group (MIG) Akinak PC, allegedly uses a mix of Russian hardware and software designs so that it can dodge sanctions, and supply companies seeking to serve organizations that are “sensitive to import substitution.” However, a closer read of the report seems to suggest the new Akinak PC will be pretty slow, even for its mixed office-and-video-conferencing target audience. Moreover, MIG’s description of its supply chain doesn’t inspire much confidence in its ability to mass produce this anti-sanction PC.

"I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; "And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make...

New York Governor Kathy Hokum issued an executive order mandating the quartering of migrants in private homes. In order for the migrants to assimilate well they will be assigned quarters in middle class conservative homes. Some have expressed doubts that quartering migrants in private homes is constitutional, but Governor Hokum allayed those doubts. Governor Hokum, prior to issuing the executive order, consulted with the NY AG James and self proclaimed Constitutional and hands on birth control expert Jeffrey Toobin. Their expert opinion was that the Constitution only expressly prevented the quartering of British Troops, which would allow the quartering of...

A best treatment pathway has been identified for people with multiple sclerosis (MS) whose current medication puts them at risk of a serious brain infection. MS patients who take the highly effective drug natalizumab are monitored regularly for their risk of developing a potentially deadly brain infection known as progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy (PML), caused by a human virus called John Cunningham virus (JCV). Even though the risk of PML is small, the prognosis is poor, with an average six-month life expectancy. If their six-monthly blood monitoring shows an increased risk of JCV, many patients switch treatment, but patients who stop...

Who are you again? President Biden tripped over British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s title during their White House meeting Thursday — referring to the UK pol as “Mr. President.” The 80-year-old Biden’s gaffe came almost immediately after the two leaders sat down in the Oval Office ahead of their wide-ranging talks. “Well, Mr. President,” Biden started to say before abruptly correcting himself. “Mr. President? I just demoted you.” As Sunak, 43, laughed off the slip-up, Biden continued: “Mr. Prime Minister, it’s great to have you back.”

The 1966 New York City smog was a major air-pollution episode and environmental disaster, coinciding with that year's Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Smog covered the city and its surrounding area from November 23 to 26, filling the city's air with damaging levels of several toxic pollutants. It was the third major smog in New York City, following events of similar scale in 1953 and 1963. - The inversion prevented air pollutants from rising, thereby trapping them within the city.[42] The smog event itself started on Wednesday November 23, coinciding with the beginning of the long Thanksgiving weekend.[2] The material sources of...

ATLANTA -- After years of criticizing mail voting and so-called ballot harvesting as ripe for fraud, Republicans at the top of the party want to change course. The mayor of Montreal, Valérie Plante, told reporters on Wednesday her city had offered the provincial government of Quebec firefighters to help control the over 100 wildfires spreading in the region and engulfing the American Northeast and Midwest in smoke – but Quebec refused them. The remark is particularly shocking as the premier, or top provincial executive official, of Quebec claimed this week that the province only had enough firefighters to address 30 wildfires, emphasizing, “we need all the help possible.” Quebec is reportedly receiving firefighters and supplies from America and France, while the Canadian government is in talks with...

Ana Navarro told her co-hosts Thursday on ABC’s “The View” that the possibility of former President Donald Trump getting indicted by the Justice Department makes her “downright gleeful.” Discussing Trump getting a target letter from the Justice Department, co-host Sunny Hostin said, “The worst thing you can get when you’re a potential criminal defendant is a target letter because we used to call it bug, beer, turn. Either your phone is bugged, you’re going to turn and cooperate, or baby, you are it. That’s the target letter. The target letter basically says you are the target of a Department of...
