We’re honestly starting to lose track of all of the ‘hate crimes’ that have ended up being complete hoaxes over the past few years. More times than not, someone is looking to prove how HATEFUL America is by … faking hate. Because you know, that makes total sense. Our country is so hateful you have to lie about how hateful it is to prove it’s hateful. Or something. Case in point

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Joe Biden on Thursday acknowledged “glitches” in America’s clean energy law that have raised concerns in Europe, but said “there’s tweaks we can make” to satisfy allies. Biden, who is honoring French President Emmanuel Macron with the first state dinner of his presidency on Thursday evening, said at a joint news conference that he and the French president spoke a “a good deal” about European concerns over his signature climate change law during an Oval Office meeting. Macron has made clear that he and other European leaders are concerned about incentives in the new law, known...

Warning! Evidence of a US recession is appearing. And with a recession, prices will likely fall due to lack of demand. Why might inflation be falling? Take a gander at ISM Prices Paid. They just fell to the lowest level since the infamous Covid economic shutdowns of 2020. M2 Money growth YoY is the lowest in years, but The Fed’s balance sheet remains elevated. But apparently the Covid-related sugar rush has ended.

250 people sentenced to “obligatory work” in Nizhny Tagil will serve their sentences at the Uralvagonzavod industrial plant, a nominal cargo-train manufacturer that also produces tanks and armored vehicles for the Russian military. This was reported by the Federal Penitentiary Service (FSIN) for the Sverdlovsk region. Convicts will work as machine operators, turners, milling and drill operators, grinders, electric welders, mechanics, and crane operators. The state garnishes between four and 20 percent of the salaries earned by people sentenced to forced labor. Still, FSIN officials emphasize that only convicts who are eager to “reform” themselves are eligible for these industrial...

Blackstone Real Estate Income Trust Inc. has been facing withdrawal requests exceeding its quarterly limit, a major test for the one of the private equity firm’s most ambitious efforts to reach individual investors. The news, in a letter Thursday, sent Blackstone stock falling as much as 10%, the biggest drop since March. “Our business is built on performance, not fund flows, and performance is rock solid,” a Blackstone spokesperson said, adding that BREIT’s concentration in rental housing and logistics in the Sun Belt leaves it well positioned going forward. This year, the fund has piled into more than $20 billion...

For the first time ever, New York City is the most expensive city in the world sharing the top spot with Singapore, according to the Economist Intelligence Unit annual survey. Both cities have bumped last year’s most costly city, Tel Aviv, down to third place in the survey’s top 10 most expensive cities list. The Big Apple’s new spot as the priciest place to live comes after a year of soaring rent prices in the city. Real estate firm Douglas Elliman released a report earlier this year showing the median price of Manhattan apartments shot up by 25 percent in...

Patients undergoing abdominal surgery for ostomy placement have high rates of hospital readmissions—often involving ostomy-related complications, reports a study. Colostomies and ileostomies are openings created in the abdominal wall to allow passage of stool from the large and small intestines, respectively. Urostomies are created to allow passage of urine from the bladder. Among the study patients, the most common reasons for colostomy or ileostomy were colorectal cancer, diverticulitis, and sepsis. Bladder cancer was the main reason for urostomy. The data showed high rates of healthcare use in the weeks and months after stoma surgery. Within 120 days after initial hospitalization,...

Elon Musk seems to have ditched his Twitter feud with Apple after a stroll around Apple headquarters with the iPhone maker's chief, Tim Cook. "Thanks @tim_cook for taking me around Apple's beautiful HQ," Musk tweeted. Musk had complained about Apple on Twitter this week, when he claimed Apple had threatening to boot the app from the App Store without explaining why. He also complained that Apple had pulled most of its advertising from Twitter, and questioning whether Apple "hated free speech in America". However, the meeting with Tim Cook seems to have defused the situation. "Good conversation. Among other things,...

VIDEOA few days ago I was in the Broward Meat Market and to my very pleasant surprise I noticed a bunch of chicken wing packages priced at only 99 cents per pound. WOW! Of course, I immediately bought two packs for a total of 20 chicken wings. Later, at home, I "winged" it to put together an improvised marinade consisting of Italian dressing, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and Frank's hot sauce. After marinating the chicken wings overnight in this marinade mixture I made garlic paste and combined it with Goya Sazonador Total seasoning for the wing rub.

During my "dating career" as a man living in North America I couldn't help noticing that women often have unrealistic expectations. They see themselves being passed around by those high quality men they feel entitled for, failing to realize those few men are in high demand. Time passes, options shrink, their standards don't change and they wonder why they are still single. The stats can prove there're not enough high quality men for every girl out there. The Female Delusion Calculator is a tool that can help women discern what is realistic from what is highly unlikely.

Gisele Fetterman, the wife of Senator-elect John Fetterman (D-Pa.), said that their children were “appalled” with Republican challenger Dr. Mehmet Oz’s campaign mocking her husband’s recent stroke. In an interview with NBC’s “Today” published Thursday, Fetterman said that her children were aware of the tactics Oz’s campaign accused to attack their father’s health condition, adding that their awareness made her proud. John Fetterman, Pennsylvania’s current lieutenant governor, suffered a stroke earlier this year, which affected the way he processes speech. Fetterman’s health scare was used by Oz’s campaign as an attack to question the current Senator-elect’s fitness to serve in...

A UK white supremacist could be extradited to the US for posting a series of vile videos that “encouraged and in part motivated” Buffalo mass shooter Peyton Gendron, a court was told. Prosecutor Joe Allman told the court that the videos “encouraged and in part motivated” fellow teen Gendron, then 18, who killed 10 black Tops shoppers in May, the Times of London said. Gendron — who pleaded guilty to the mass shooting...

Twice-failed Georgia Democrat gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams is now lobbying the Joe Biden White House to be the next nominee for the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), according to a report. FCC nominee Gigi Sohn’s confirmation vote has been put on the back burner as Senate Democrats’ one-member majority has struggled to find a way to confirm her. Sen. Maria Cantwell (D-WA), the chairman of the Senate Commerce Committee, said that she will push to renominate Sohn, a radical progressive on technology issues, if Congress’s upper chamber cannot confirm her this congressional session.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre dodged a question during Wednesday’s press briefing on whether the Biden administration would try to shut down Twitter if the platform hosts content that it doesn’t “like.” “When you say that you’re going to be monitoring some of the speech on [Twitter], if you see something that you don’t like, would you try to shut Twitter down?” Doocy asked. “So, look, you know, when you — when you talk about monitoring, you know, it is — I hate to break it to you, Peter: Just like everybody else, we very much monitor the news,”...

California’s Department of Justice mistakenly posted the names, addresses and birthdays of nearly 200,000 gun owners on the internet because officials didn’t follow policies or understand how to operate their website, according to an investigation released Wednesday. The investigation, conducted by an outside law firm hired by the California Department of Justice, found that personal information for 192,000 people was downloaded 2,734 times by 507 unique IP addresses during a roughly 12-hour period in late June. All of those people had applied for a permit to carry a concealed gun. The data was exposed just days after the U.S. Supreme...
