So they asked Him, saying, “Teacher, but when will these things be? And what sign will there be when these things are about to take place?” And He said: “Take heed that you not be deceived. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and, ‘The time has drawn near.’ Therefore do not go after them. But when you hear of wars and commotions, do not be terrified; for these things must come to pass first, but the end will not come immediately. Then He said to them, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom....

“‘Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles had occurred in Tyre and Sidon which occurred in you, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. Nevertheless I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the day of judgment than for you’” (Matthew 11:21–22). Indifference is a terrible form of unbelief. It so totally ignores God that He is not even considered worth arguing about. As Josiah realized after God’s people rediscovered His book, “great is the wrath of the Lord that burns against us, because our fathers...

Sometimes it takes 70 years to sober up, sometimes you have to admit unpleasant things and sometimes it turns out that there is something more important than the country. Don't blame the Shin Bet Anyone who passionately claims (and even without passion) that the Shin Bet was not aware of the serious actions of Avishi Raviv and his incitement of Yigal Amir to assassinate the Prime Minister, accuses the Shin Bet of very serious things, such as the organization's lack of control over its agent, ignoring The heads of the organization warn public figures of the actions of their agent,...

PHOENIX, AZ — After finally tallying the votes from Maricopa County, Arizona has announced that Calvin Coolidge has narrowly defeated John Davis for its three electoral votes. "We are finally ready for the big announcement," said Election Chairman Bill Gates. "I know the rest of the country has been patiently waiting. We are thrilled to announce that every vote in the 1924 Presidential election has at last been tallied, with Mr. Calvin Coolidge now set to receive all three electoral votes posthumously!" Though happy to hear about Mr. Coolidge's victory, the remainder of America has continued to ask when we...

Long-time Republican consultant and lobbyist Roger Stone has accused Lindsey Graham of "wilful sabotage" for making his 15-week abortion time-limit proposal only weeks before the midterm elections in November. According to a long-running poll by Gallup, some 85 percent of U.S. citizens believe abortion should be legal in some cases, while more than 35 percent think it should be permitted under any circumstances. On Tuesday, the South Carolina senator approved a proposal for legislation that could institute a nationwide, federal time limit on abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy.

A photo of a hospital mattress has gone viral online because it appears to show a face, leading many to believe it's haunted by a supernatural being. A nurse shared the eerie image on Facebook this week, prompting widespread concern. Many questioned how it got there admitting it was "freaky". "This appeared at work after the cleaner washed the mattress," the woman wrote online, describing it as "creepy". "It kept reappearing every time she wiped over it".

FIFA bans "human rights for all" practice jerseys at World Cup ... What happened: FIFA, the international soccer federation, refused to let the Danish national team practice in shirts promoting "human rights for all" at the World Cup, which begins later this month in Qatar. Seriously? Yes. The chief executive of Denmark's soccer association said FIFA rejected the team's request "due to technical reasons." The seemingly innocuous phrase was presumably deemed too "political" due to the host country's appalling human rights record and ties to terrorist organizations. Wait, what? Human rights groups have condemned Qatar for using forced labor to...

Something about New York’s legal system doesn’t seem right to Joseph Riccardi, who is jailed because he won’t spend up to $500,000 to meet the demands of his Staten Island condo board. “There are people committing serious crimes who don’t even have to post bail and are free,” Riccardi told the Daily News. “Yet, I’m on Rikers? It’s absolutely ridiculous.” “I’m a 57-year-old grandfather, worked 35 years in the finance industry,” an exasperated Riccardi said. “I haven’t got a parking ticket in 20 years. I’ve never so much as sat in a police car.” Riccardi, a foreign currency trader, began...

Briahna Joy Gray, who previously served as a press secretary for Senator Bernie Sanders’s 2020 presidential campaign, on Friday claimed President Biden baited young voters with a “faulty” student-loan forgiveness order. “They used the promise of student debt cancellation to induce young voter turn out — knowing it wasn’t going anywhere bc they relied on faulty legal authority,” she wrote in a tweet. “Hard to convince me the Biden admin didn’t do this intentionally.” A federal judge in Texas on Thursday blocked Biden’s student-loan “forgiveness” plan in response to a lawsuit from the Job Creators Network Foundation (JCNF). Judge Mark...

Mosaic of the three times Our Lady of Prompt Succor saved New Orleans. General Jackson and his men may be seen in the bottom right. I took this photo of the mosaic at the Ursuline Convent in New Orleans in 2019. Andrew Jackson was a study in contrasts. By most accounts, he was hot tempered and had a tendency to violence. In his youth, he engaged in most of the vices common to young men of that time: drinking, carousing, and engaging in every form of gambling known to man. He apparently had a passion for cock-fighting. He got...

The Avon cosmetics conglomerate is shutting down its facility in the Village of Suffern after 136 years. The company plans to close at the end of 2024 and will begin laying off workers this coming February. There are currently 136 employees at the factory. At one point, there were more than 1,000 workers there. Mayor Michael Curley says this might not necessarily be such a bad thing due to the tax breaks that Avon receives on their property. "They made a deal years ago with the Village of Suffern, County of Rockland, school district and the town,” said Curley. “They...

Georgia Sen. Raphael Warnock’s church could soon be hit with a subpoena for failing to answer a legal inquiry into its charitable operations. The Georgia Secretary of State’s Securities and Charities Division has demanded the Ebenezer Building Foundation — a foundation run the Democratic pol’s Ebenezer Baptist Church — explain its charitable status within the state, Fox News reported. The Division’s records indicate that Ebenezer Building Foundation, Inc […] is not registered as a charitable organization with the State of Georgia,” the Securities and Charities Division wrote in an Oct. 12 letter. Alec Baldwin filed a lawsuit a year after the Rust incident. According to court documents, Baldwin seeks to “clear his name” after the accidental death of Halyna Hutchins on the set of his movie. People obtained the legal court documents of a cross-complaint filed by the 30 Rock actor. The lawsuit reads, “More than anyone else on that set, Baldwin has been wrongfully viewed as the perpetrator of this tragedy.” The cross-complaint named on-set armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, first AD Dave Halls, property master Sarah Zachry, and weapons supplier Seth Kenney, accusing them of negligence. “Baldwin has also lost numerous job...
