The reason that’s so insane is two-fold. First, what right did the FBI have to interfere in private companies concerning what political stories they allow to be run? The attempt itself is bad enough considering the bureau had ostensibly pledged to avoid any possibility of affecting the outcome of an election. Secondly, and far more damning is the fact that the FBI knew at the time that the laptop was real, having been in possession of it since 2019.

The motherliness of God has been neglected for far too long, says Martina Bär. For the fundamental theologian from Graz, practising a "Our Father-Mother" prayer therefore makes sense. "Over the last few months, many people have been asking the same question: who is Joe Biden's new best friend and why can't we see them? It isn't Casper but it is a ghost...voter. Enter Jocelyn Benson (D is for Disingenuous), Secretary of State for Michigan, who recently was trying to stop a lawsuit filed in November 2021 by Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF) which alleged she was keeping approximately 26,000 registered voters who were dead on...

The economy shrank by 0.6% in the second quarter compared to the same period last year — the second consecutive quarter that the nation’s gross domestic product contracted, thus signaling the onset of a recession, according to the latest data. The US Commerce Department issued a revised reading of second-quarter figures on Thursday — nearly a month after its initial report measured a 0.9% contraction compared to the year prior, Fox Business reported. In the first quarter of this year, GDP fell by 1.6% — the worst-performing quarter since the spring of 2020. At the time, much of the country...

Restoring normal functioning in the brains of cancer patients through neurofeedback could potentially alleviate the mental fogginess that many report after treatment, according to researchers. The study is one of the first to indicate that neurofeedback, or electroencephalogram (EEG) biofeedback, could help address cognitive deficits of cancer patients experiencing "chemo brain," a myriad of symptoms that could include problems with memory, concentration and organization, as well as other symptoms like trouble sleeping and emotional difficulties. Previous research has found that neurofeedback, in which brain waves are trained to operate in optimal frequency patterns, has helped improve cognitive function in patients...

Vladimir Putin is determined to shape the future to look like his version of the past. Russia’s president invaded Ukraine not because he felt threatened by NATO expansion or by Western “provocations.” He ordered his “special military operation” because he believes that it is Russia’s divine right to rule Ukraine, to wipe out the country’s national identity, and to integrate its people into a Greater Russia. He laid out this mission in a 5,000-word treatise, published in July 2021, entitled, “On the Historical Unity of Russians and Ukrainians.” In it, Putin insisted that Belarusians, Russians, and Ukrainians are all descendants...

Democrat DC Mayor Muriel Bowser is denying unvaccinated students an education. Unvaccinated students will not be allowed in school and there will not be an option for virtual learning. A reporter for The Daily Signal asked Bowser if unvaccinated students would have to learn remotely, she replied, “We’re not offering remote learning for children, and families will need to comply with what is necessary to come to school.”

President Joe Biden continued spreading his feelings of disgust toward supporters of former President Donald Trump and the “MAGA Republicans” as he hit the campaign trail on Thursday. “I respect conservative Republicans, I don’t respect these MAGA Republicans,” he said. Earlier in the evening, Biden described the MAGA movement as “semi-fascist” at a fundraiser. At his political rally, the president spoke about his many years of service in the Senate, working with mainstream Republicans. “There are not many real Republicans anymore,” he lamented.

Last week we looked at the story of how the Biden administration quietly put an end to mandatory COVID testing for federal workers based on their vaccination status. The change was intended to bring the government into compliance with new, relaxed guidelines issued by the CDC. The changes were supposed to be in place by Monday, with compliance reports being sent to the Safer Federal Workforce Task Force (an awkward name at best). But apparently not everyone got the memo or, if they did, they didn’t bother reading it. As of now, there is one massive portion of the government...

The World Health Organization announced on Thursday (Aug 25) that a million people had died from COVID-19 in 2022, calling it a "tragic milestone" when all the tools existed to prevent deaths. Nearly 6.45 million deaths have been reported to the WHO since the virus was first detected in China in late 2019. But WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus questioned whether the world was really on top of the pandemic, this far in.

A US lawmaker on the Senate Commerce and Armed Services committees arrived in Taiwan on Thursday (Aug 25) on the third visit by a US dignitary this month, defying pressure from Beijing to halt the trips. She was welcomed on the airport tarmac by Douglas Hsu, director general of Taiwan's foreign affairs ministry, Blackburn's office said. "Taiwan is our strongest partner in the Indo-Pacific Region. Regular high-level visits to Taipei are long-standing US policy," Blackburn said in...
