Democrat DC Mayor Muriel Bowser is denying unvaccinated students an education.
Unvaccinated students will not be allowed in school and there will not be an option for virtual learning.
Over 40% of blacks ages 12 to 17 are not vaccinated for Covid, the Daily Signal reported.
A reporter for The Daily Signal asked Bowser if unvaccinated students would have to learn remotely, she replied, “We’re not offering remote learning for children, and families will need to comply with what is necessary to come to school.”

It depends on the state. For special needs students a free appropriate public education is also mandated in Section 504 and Title II as they pertain to students with disabilities. There are attorneys whose practice area in education law is focused on assisting parents getting their child the appropriate services that are available using Federal law.
Legally (DC law), you can drop out at 16. I would imagine about 50-percent of the kids in the district just ‘hang-out’ from age 13 to 17...making no real effort, and teachers don’t care. If you tested them, the majority max out on learning by the 8th grade.
