The fuel tax reduction has been in effect since midnight — and it has led to significantly lower prices at many petrol stations across Germany. Press agency DPA evaluated the prices at 400 petrol stations in Munich, Berlin and Hamburg between 6 am and 7 am on Wednesday, with the help of data from Germany’s biggest car club, the ADAC. Although not all petrol stations lowered their prices significantly, the vast majority showed a clear difference just a few hours after the tax cut, DPA said. […] … DPA’s flash analysis of prices found that a liter of Super E10...

A week ago, Dr. Robert Malone wrote an article stating “what we do know” about monkeypox. Today he has published an update. “I almost cannot believe that I am writing this, but since my original Substack article on this topic, we had the reveal of an Event 201-style wargame exercise modelled around a bioterror-related release of an engineered monkeypox virus ‘caused by a terrorist attack using a pathogen engineered in a laboratory with inadequate biosafety and biosecurity provisions and weak oversight’,” he wrote today. If Ronald Reagan were still with us, I suspect we would be hearing “There you go...

In the big fight news in the world at the moment amid war and new wars — this from an unelected German individual has really angered the world at the moment: Klaus SchwabWith respect, no one asked for a great reset. Nor is anyone interested in it. You only need to check the YouTube, Google, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Tick Tock, Snapchat and all big platforms comments to see no citizens of the world are in support of the above. In its effort to contain inflation, the Federal Reserve has launched what many expect to be an ongoing series of interest rate increases, which are already taking a toll on stock and housing markets, with job losses likely to follow. As weary as Americans have become from paying record high gas and grocery prices, however, another round of price hikes is making its way through the food supply chain and is expected to reach consumers this fall. “People don’t realize what’s fixing to hit them,” said Texas farmer Lynn “Bugsy” Allen. “They think it’s tough right now, you give it...

During a summit in Fiji on Monday, Chinese negotiators failed to convince 10 Pacific island nations to join them on a mutual security and trade agreement that would’ve allowed China to establish a presence of security officers in their nations. The Beijing-proposed security and trade pact would bring Pacific islands nations like the Federated States of Micronesia, the Solomon Islands, Kiribati, Samoa, Fiji, Tonga, Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea, Niue and Timor-Leste into closer alignment with the Chinese government. The pact would include law enforcement and fishing cooperation, providing China with Pacific hosts for security forces and ships that they could...

A pastor from Tennessee who said Democrats couldn’t be Christians because of the party’s pro-choice stance noted that he gave up his tax-exempt status. Pastor Greg Locke of Mt. Juliet’s Global Vision Bible Church, close to Nashville, told his congregants he considered Democrats to be “baby butchers.” In a sermon earlier this month, Locke said: “You cannot be a Christian and vote Democrat in this nation. I don’t care how mad that makes you. You can get as pissed off as you want to. You cannot be a Christian and vote Democrat in this nation. They are God-denying demons that...

The fentanyl experience is devastating—and it’s hollowing out families and communities all across our country. News accounts shows drug deaths have spiked everywhere. The year I lost my sister, 2016, more than 65,000 people overdosed and died. That’s skyrocketed to more than 100,000 people during the 12-month period ending April 2021. That’s nearly 300 people each day. It takes only 2 milligrams to be lethal. That’s not even enough to cover the year on the front of the penny in your pocket. Fentanyl is now the leading cause of death for Americans between the ages of 18 and 45, according...

After sitting through six weeks of gut-wrenching testimony and deliberating for nearly 13 hours, the Fairfax County, Va., jury reached its verdict in the Johnny Depp v. Amber Heard defamation trial. The jury decided unanimously in favor of Depp on Wednesday, finding that Heard intentionally and maliciously defamed the Pirates of the Caribbean star when she wrote her 2018 op-ed in the Washington Post about her experiences as a domestic abuse survivor. Depp was awarded $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages. Judge Penney Azcarate reduced the punitive damages to Virginia's statutory cap of $350,000. Heard...

Judges ruled on Tuesday that bumble bees can be classed as fish under California environmental laws. This unlocks protections for the state's four endangered bumble bee species. The ruling clarifies the state's confusing classification in its environmental protections. A trio of judges in California said on Tuesday that bees can be legally classed as a type of fish as part of a ruling that brings added conservation protections for the endangered species. "The issue presented here is whether the bumble bee, a terrestrial invertebrate, falls within the definition of fish," the judges wrote in their ruling. And, they concluded, it...

The New York Times appeared to be tickled pink over liberal-run states shoehorning President Joe Biden’s Disinformation Governance Board idea into their own election governance processes. The Times technology and regulation reporter Cecilia Kang celebrated Connecticut for a reported recent state effort to hire an election “misinformation” expert with a $150,000 salary. Kang’s story painted the idea of Connecticut’s so-called state “misinformation” officer like he or she would be a dogged crime-fighter. The story had a fawning headline: “Help Wanted: State Misinformation Sheriff.” Kang whined how the state faced “a bevy of falsehoods about voting that swirled around online.” To...

What do people who don’t believe in evil do? They blame inanimate objects. Guns. 19 years ago, a middle-aged unemployed taxi driver carrying two milk cartons full of gasoline walked onto a South Korean subway and started a fire that killed 192 people. That was not a milk carton problem. Nor was it a gasoline problem. 6 years ago, a Muslim terrorist drove a truck into a Bastille Day event in Nice, France killing 86 and wounding over 400 other people. Body parts were being pried out of his wheel wells. That was not a truck problem. Across the long...
